@Dreamingof3 yup yesterday was the start of it and last night was just as bad. Starting to wonder if I should forego the water birth and just opt for an induction to get her out 😭

@allthingssparkly my body seems to be on clear out mode this morning... Hopefully that means she's preparing herself to be on her way cuz I'm starting to feel like I'm about to split in two down the middle 😭

I've got a midwife appointment this morning, hope everything will be ok

I've been bouncing on the ball here and there

My midwife suggested I try the perineal massage but honestly I'm so uncomfortable sitting up and with bump in the way... also don't want my husband doing it either

So I just drink the final push tea and eat dates 😂

@Bobduncan you can place mark and peace make all you like 😊 god knows I could do with some peace!

Got back last night from a much needed weekend away with an old school friend. Was lovely to get a change of scenery, have no childcare for a couple of days and just chew the fat with her!

This is now my last week at work and I have a scan tomorrow so feels like a big one. Hoping baby’s growth has evened out a little so we can plan for 38 weeks rather than 37, but if it’s 37 then so be it. Got a long list of very boring tasks to do around the house so plan to spend a few weeks doing those, bouncing on an exercise ball and taking long walks 😆

Woke up last night with the worst cramp ever I almost screamed! Has this happened to anyone else? My leg is so sore this morning 😣 I’ve got varicose veins in this pregnancy, not sure if the two are related but OMG it was painful.

@Cuppasoupmonster it's my last week at work too now, I have lost all motivation haha but really need to finish my handover docs 🙈 counting down the seconds until Friday 5pm lol

@Cuppasoupmonster ive been getting awful leg cramps at night too! So bad it wakes me up but I bed share (not by choice 🙄😅) with my 2 year old so have to quietly scream in pain 🙃 hoping it’s just a weird late pregnancy thing and goes once she’s here!

I really hate coming to the assessment unit. Midwives always make you feel like you are bothering them with side remarks. I actually used to work here as admin staff and pretty sure they just think I’m some sort of hypochondriac 🙃 It is really off putting sometimes

@Cuppasoupmonster glad you had a lovely time! I asked at the pharmacy a few weeks ago when I got some leg cramps (thankfully they've sodded off on their own) and the lady on the desk recommended bananas. Apparently the potassium is good for easing cramps

The fanny daggers are back with a vengeance this morning too. Honestly I'm considering asking my midwife if she'll check what's going on down there... I could wait til next Monday when I'll be offered the sweep but I don't know if I can make it another week 😭

@Cuppasoupmonster yes, so much cramp in my legs in the night and also in my feet (mostly whilst driving, which is incredibly annoying).

Had my 36 week appointment and got weighed for the first time since booking appointment at 7 weeks.

The midwife was kind to say I don't have to look at the number and she will not say it out loud if I don't want to.

I appreciated it so much, as I started out with a high BMI already.

I was too curious though to know how much I've gained so did a look at the new BMI and checked the weight for that in a chart...
😮‍💨 didn't expect anything different though as I have dropped exercises and walked minimally the last 4 months due to pelvic and back pain, and I have not watched what I eat

Bp is 145/90 when it’s usually low and have protein in urine

Yeah i feel fine just came in for the itch. Bp has came down a good bit, maybe a touch of white coat syndrome 😂😂😂

@Rainbowbaby23 i have white coat syndrome, last night my blood pressure was high while I was being monitored on the bed, but when I got off and sat on the chair it went down. No phone calls from the hospital yet so I’m guessing my bloods checking for PE were ok

Is anyone else just insatiably hungry all the time? 34 weeks today and literally all i can think about is food when i've already eaten!

I’m having my c section in two weeeks it’s all booked.... Yet still haven’t packed my hospital bag and still got bits to get. Feel like I’m in a false sense of security having a date 🤣 really hope the baby doesn’t come early.

Anyone else two weeks away and still not organised with a hospital bag? I feel like worse case scenario if I do go into labour before c section I’ll just grab what I can and throw it in a bag as it’s unlikely. Getting my c section at 38 weeks aswell which is pretty early.....
