@DaisyRainbow congratulations! Glad to hear you and baby are doing well. As someone else due at the end of March I can't even imagine. I seriously need to get this house in order and the baby's hospital bits packed!!!

@Choc2022 last time I had chronic thrush in third trimester (what joy) and got prescribed a whole load of pessaries to keep using every few days until baby popped out. So no limit on timing I don't think :)

Yes deffo. My midwife isn’t measuring my bump...it’s weeks & weeks smaller and often doesn’t grow at all but my growth scans are showing baby is huge 99th percentile. So she said that’s way more accurate. Also shows he grows every two weeks within the 99th febrile curve. Only 9 days for me now till I get my c section at 38 weeks 🥳 wondering how big he’ll be then 🤣

@Blondewave are you going in on the 27th? That's when mine is booked too 🙈. Can't wait for him to be here now so over being pregnant I'm 38 weeks and have been up the whole night not able to sleep or get comfortable 🫣🤦‍♀️

@Room4onemore I've started feeling uncomfortable in general particularly the last two days. Unsure if it's baby trying to head further down, things stretching or just the pressure but I think I'll be counting down the weeks now! There's no way I'd manage to still be at work so I'm glad I finished earlier than I originally thought about!

Just keep thinking it won't be long!! Lol

Woke up to fairly intense pain radiating from my left hip across to my lower back and sometimes front. Lasts 2-4 mins but sporadic at 45 mins to an hour apart. I rang triage and they are not concerned and think it is just my body gearing up. I didn't think Braxton Hicks could be so painful though, definitely ramped up in the night.

Really hoping this switches to a more productive pain soon!

BP was 140/90 this morning 🙁 going to go feed the ducks with DS then check it again when we get back and go from there

Is anyone else struggling with names? We've not even got a shortlist 😂 we've always waited until the baby is here to definitely pick a name but we've also always had one or two favourites by now! Poor girl is going to be nameless

I'm 37+2 and mainly suffering with water retention, and swelling, can't wait for that to be gone!

Due to renovations, need for baby to stay in my tummy at least till Thursday though😄

Then I'll start actively bouncing on the ball

Yes how exciting 🥳🥳🥳🥳! although I’m having another scan early next week so preparing incase they move it forward and do it next week. As it’s already been brought forward from 39 weeks to 38 so prepping for 37 🤣 I’m only 36+5 atm but had about 2 hours sleep last night so uncomofortable now. I feel like I can’t breathe laying down, no comfortable position, so heavy and heart burn. Are you the same?
Doesnt help I’m so busy atm so can’t nap during day but least the time till baby day will go quick 👶🏼😁 xx

Baby boy born 13/2 via csection - he was a dinky 5 pounds 6 but they thought he would be under 5 so I'm pleased! Feeding has been a challenge as he's sleepy but we are getting there.

If anyone has any Qs about planned csection experience, let me know!

All the ladies in my NCT group are having their babies early! Even the planned c-sections are happening early as waters going early! I thought ftm were normally late!

@Blondewave would you mind me asking if you are having section due to baby’s size? My baby has been measuring on 97th and I had been hoping for home birth but yesterday got call from midwife to say I had to have consultant app/final growth scan next Weds before they could sign it off… just wondering what my plan B should be. I think I’d rather have planned section over induction…

BP has come down to 133/79 so I'm holding off calling triage for now. Really want to avoid giving birth tomorrow if at all possible 🤣 it's my sister's birthday and we're NC but she'll make it impossible for my poor mum to see little lady on her birthday if she's born tomorrow. Obviously I won't do anything to put little lady at risk but yeah... tomorrow is not ideal
