I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

@bobb11 im 6+3 and no nausea whatsoever, I would really like the reassurance!

From what I've read @adayatatime23 never having nausea is possible - apparently approx 25% don't suffer from it at all, so I think you're ok 💐

My worry is that I had it quite severely and now it's gone 😬

I had absolutely zero morning sickness with DS (who is now 4.5).

I did get horrendous heartburn around 20 weeks and that made me vomit until I could get it under control with ranitadine (gaviscon wasn't strong enough).

This time round my sense of smell is bugging me - so much so that my friend guessed because I was gagging at the smell of her cat's food.

mariamari · 12/02/2023 18:41

I had a day of feeling very nauseous, like travel sickness that wouldn’t go away & then it settled. Likewise my breasts are a little less tender. I feel this is normal, the body adapting & going through these changes. And big congratulations 🎉

adayatatime23 · 12/02/2023 18:42

@bobb11 @Klex thank you guys - I suppose it could be just around the corner!
I had a previous MC a few months ago with obvious spotting from 5 weeks so I am hoping that everything is all going okay in there 🤞🏻 this would be my first baby 🥰

braxxen · 12/02/2023 18:44

@adayatatime23 I have heard many don't experience morning sickness at all. Some it comes in waves. Others it's constant. Everyone is different.

Meanwhile I'm currently heaving in a plastic bag after attempting tuc biscuits and an actimal! Scared to go downstairs as the OH is cooking 😂

Mintykat · 12/02/2023 18:46

We had an early scan today which showed a gestational sac in the right place. This is main thing I wanted confirming after a miscarriage last cycle.
It's very much guess work with my dates however but couldn't see a yolk sac or fetal pole - hopefully suggesting my vague dates are just a little bit out.
The awful sickness and sore boobs are continuing to get worse each day so keeping positive overall.
I wish I hadn't been so keen with the early scan now though!

Eastlondonmummy · 12/02/2023 18:49

Hi everyone!

I am 5 weeks tomorrow with my second. I have a 3 year old daughter but had a MMC before her which ended in an op so although myself and my husband are trying to stay cool there is always a worry in the back of our minds.

I had early scan with my daughter at hospital as it was only a month after MMC and I was so nervous but I don’t think they will give me one for no reason? May get a private one but can’t really justify cost 😬

already have booking appointment for March 3rd and I have to take my daughter which don’t plan on telling until we get the 12 week scan so that will be interesting (she is very switched on!) 🤣

@Hopefulx thank you, it’s great to be on this journey together.

amybooth · 12/02/2023 19:11

@Eastlondonmummy my booking in scan is March 3rd too, it feels so far away at the minute!

How early was your scan? I had a mmc in December so I want to have an early scan in a few weeks. I'm guessing 6 weeks is the earliest you can do?

Thank you @mamariamari 🥰 huge congratulations to you too 💐💐

Eastlondonmummy · 12/02/2023 19:20

Good luck for your scan! It does seem a long time yet……that’s just my booking appointment with midwife too I don’t think scan will be until late March/early April 😩 due should be around Oct 15th ish, how about you?

amybooth · 12/02/2023 19:22

@Eastlondonmummy I have scans on the brain as I keep going back and forth about booking a private one🤦‍♀️😂 it's my booking appointment 3rd March too and not heard about a scan yet- I think I'm due around 16th October so only a days difference!

Eastlondonmummy · 12/02/2023 19:23

Ah exciting! We are on the same journey! 🥰

Hankthehonk · 12/02/2023 19:52

Hello, nervously heading over here from the conception chat after 3 days of increasingly strong lines on tests. I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow, due date around 24 Oct according to Flo.
I'm only 10dpo but both the lines and the symptoms are strong so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I have bad nausea, sore boobs and fatigue- I felt the same when pregnant with my DD but not until a couple of weeks later.
I'm testing each morning to track line progression, really nervous about the possibility of a chemical since it's so early. Feeling excited but trying not to get carried away, physically feeling crappy...it's a lot isn't it!
Congratulations everyone on the thread and hope you all have healthy pregnancies. I'm sure it's a nervous time for all of us

Mintykat · 12/02/2023 20:13

I could have been 6 +4 based on what little info I had. Looks more like between 5 and 6 weeks based on size of gestational sack

BoyMamaChloe · 13/02/2023 06:55

@adayatatime23 I had absolutely no sickness with my little boy (now 2.5) except for one wave of nausea the day I found out I was pregnant. I don't have any this time yet so I'm hoping I'll be lucky again. I know what you mean about it being reassuring though. My main symptom is the extreme tiredness again, it's so intense!

katherine123x · 13/02/2023 07:11

Lovely to see so many new BFP stories!!
Anyone finding it so difficult not to test any more?? I haven't done one in days and it's soooooo hard.

BoyMamaChloe · 13/02/2023 07:17

@katherine123x I know what you mean 🤣 I have a few cheapies left but I am finding it easier not test as each day goes by. I have an early scan booked for Sunday and then an appt at the epu the week after next, which I have to test beforehand. Looking at all the tests I've taken does make me laugh though!

katherine123x · 13/02/2023 07:19

@BoyMamaChloe yeah I have some cheapies too!! But trying to leave them. I really want to do a digital and see if the weeks have gone up. Oh it's obsessive isn't it 😂😂

amyalw · 13/02/2023 08:28

Sadly, it looks like a chemical for me.

Good luck with all your October pumpkins! ❤

BoyMamaChloe · 13/02/2023 08:37

@katherine123x that's what I want to see too! When it went to 2-3 weeks I was so happy. How have you been feeling?

@amyalw so sorry to hear this, I hope you're ok. Sending lots of love ❤️

Hankthehonk · 13/02/2023 08:49

@katherine123x I am going to keep testing each morning for the rest of this week as I'm only 11dpo and want to check line progression, but I already know I'll find it hard to stop on Friday as planned!! (assuming all still going well by then)

@amyalw So sorry to read this, hope you are ok x

amyalw · 13/02/2023 09:07

@BoyMamaChloe @Hankthehonk

Thank you 💗 I'm okay, I felt like it was coming, so it's almost a relief to stop worrying about it!

Hope you're both doing well, and wishing you a happy, healthy 9 months!
