I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

How many tests did everyone do to confirm/reassure themselves? I did the 2 I posted yesterday and I think I might buy a digital one today just to triple check. I know I don't have to I just can't believe it 😭❤️🥰

I feel like an anomaly here but I haven’t taken tests yet. Besides one digital negative last weekend which I assume was too early to tell. I’ll get one v soon to be sure.

Having MC in the past, I’m just really focusing on believing in this little bean’s strength.

I assume besides taking fertility supplements & taking care of my body there’s not much else I can do for now? Please let me know if otherwise!

AlongcameLainey · 12/02/2023 10:00

@katherine123x ive only had mild nausea this time so far but with my little girl I used to keep ginger biscuits next to the bed and force myself to eat one as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning and it worked a treat. I used to keep a stash at work, in the car, in my handbag 😂😂

AlongcameLainey · 12/02/2023 10:02

I’ve got my 2nd hcg blood tests this morning and then get the results later today. Feeling sooo nervous!

I am really hoping it’s good news x

IndiaRose22 · 12/02/2023 10:03

@BambiBooBoo I'm sorry to read this.. I've been bleeding and cramping all weekend so going to cancel my booking appt and let them know why. I'm gutted.

BambiBooBoo · 12/02/2023 10:06

@IndiaRose22 I'm sorry Flowers

SEG92 · 12/02/2023 10:51

I've got a scan booked for tomorrow at 4:15pm
I don't know whether I can feel hopeful or not

My pregnancy test is still dark this morning so maybe that's a good sign? I'm not sure

braxxen · 12/02/2023 12:01

@SEG92
According to my early scan, I have one baby in the right place with a good amount of amniotic fluid! It's 11mm big and they dated me at 7 weeks 1 day (I was 2 days out). I feel really reassured after the early scan and would recommend to anyone considering one. I don't think I could have waited to 12 weeks and still not heard back from the NHS self referral.

Keeping everything crossed for everyone. 🤞🤞

Needtobuildabridge · 12/02/2023 12:04

@braxxen What company did you go with?

Window to the womb!

blebbleb · 12/02/2023 12:25

Can I join please. I got my faint positive today, so I work that out as 4 weeks. I had a mmc in December so I'm a bit apprehensive but hoping for the best.

countrypunk · 12/02/2023 12:32

Congratulations @braxxen and thinking of @Infinitebows x

SEG92 · 12/02/2023 12:57

@braxxen amazing, so glad to hear it all went well 🥰 I'll definitely be doing an early scan, I found somewhere local to me with good reviews who can do early scans from 6 weeks, might try and hold off until 7 so there's slightly more to see xx

braxxen · 12/02/2023 13:06

@BambiBooBoo Good luck for your scan tomorrow let us know how it goes.

@SEG92 @countrypunk Thank you! It all feels a bit more real now. Just told both sets of our parents so we have lots of support too.

AlongcameLainey · 12/02/2023 14:24

We are about to tell MIL.

I had my second set of hcg results today and they have more than doubled since Friday 🎉🎉

They have scheduled a rescan on Friday so fingers crossed we may see a little bean on this one x

IaminRome · 12/02/2023 14:46

Hi everyone, just got my BFP this morning. Was thinking it was odd I wasn't spotting before my period which is due tomorrow, so still early days.
What do I do now?!
Feel like I've been waiting ages for this, now I've got it, I don't know who I'm supposed to tell and what has to change from before the BFP!

SEG92 · 12/02/2023 14:54

Congratulations @IaminRome ❤️ I only got my BFP yesterday, I've done a few more tests today just to confirm, and am ringing the doctors tomorrow. My husband and I are planning on telling our parents next week, know it's still early days, but everyone else we'll wait until we know everything is ok on our 12 week scan xx

IaminRome · 12/02/2023 15:02

@SEG92 thank you and congratulations to you! First on my list is ordering more tests 🤣 just to be sure.
But yes then I may join you in ringing the dr's.

What vitamins are you all taking? Always hear such mixed reviews about pregnacare

braxxen · 12/02/2023 15:28

@IaminRome I'm taking pregnacare but the tablets are hard to stomach now with the morning sickness!

Has anyone else completely gone off coffee?

PrimarilyParented · 12/02/2023 15:35

Hi all, I got my positive yesterday and am 4 weeks 1 day and so excited.

I’m taking pregnacare but only because nowhere had seven seas in stock, I took them last time and almost never got morning sickness so wanted to stick to them as I’d heard people saying that pregnacare made them feel queasy.

SEG92 · 12/02/2023 16:10

@IaminRome I'm taking folic acid (have been since November), vitamin D and b12 (as I'm low) and omega 3 as I'm veggie and don't get a lot in my diet x

Infinitebows · 12/02/2023 16:13

Hey Girls, none the wiser after my early scan today. Still bleeding a fair bit too. Cramping today now too.
Luckily we have an early scan place just ten mins down the road from us so was easy enough to find.

Due to my heart shaped womb (bicornuate) she struggled to find the little sac, did eventually find it and said she couldn't see the little runner bean but it may have been up in the top corner that she couldn't get to. She definitely couldn't rule out that there isn't a little growing baby there but definitely couldn't say there was one too. She's offered a free re scan next Sunday as it will have grown (if it's still there) the sac measured 6+4 so 4 days less than I thought. She said there may have been the faintest heartbeat but it could also have been my blood vessel to it pumping away 🤷🏼‍♀️ So! .... I'll keep my appointment with the mw on Wednesday and hope that the scan on the same day at the hospital is a little more conclusive one way or the other. It's the not knowing that is the hardest and also every second feels like a hour! Thanks for reading ... sorry for long post! Photo of notes attached for info.... xx

I've gone off coffee, I can only stand one cup of instant in the morning, but my black coffee and latte from our coffee machine I can't stand 🥴

bobb11 · 12/02/2023 17:37

Hi everyone! I'm currently 6+3 - suffered horrendously with morning sickness and breast soreness in weeks 4 and 5, vomitting the lot - then all of a sudden all symptoms disappeared on Friday and haven't come back since, but no cramping/bleeding to report.

I've checked NHS website etc. and they mention that it could be because of a drop in HCG - anyone else had anything similar? Thank you ladies ❤️

adayatatime23 · 12/02/2023 17:56

@bobb11 im 6+3 and no nausea whatsoever, I would really like the reassurance!
