I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

Hi all, can I join? Found out I’m pregnant yesterday after my period not coming back after a miscarriage in December. App puts me at 6+1 with a due date of October 3rd but I think I ovulated later so actually more like 5 weeks.

Although I feel very grateful to have gotten pregnant so soon again after mc, especially as it took us 13 cycles first time round, I also just feel worried and like I can’t get excited or plan which makes me really sad.

I had an early scan yesterday (live abroad and things work differently here) but they couldn’t see more than the yolk sac and have scheduled another one for two weeks time. They’ve also given me a low dose of progesterone. Guess we just have to take it day by day.

Fresh link!

You know how I was worried yesterday because my boobs weren't sore anymore & I had no symptoms???

Yeah well I've been up all night with SO much nausea 😅🤢❤️

cocoforbes · 07/02/2023 06:20

@Phoenixwings1989 so sorry for your loss and that you are in this situation. Unfortunately, I can't tell you everything is going to be ok but I can say you are very much not alone!

Hope you don't mind me joining. I'm 4 and a bit weeks pregnant now. I had a mmc in June last year and two early miscarriages before that. All pregnancy has been for me so far is waiting for bad news. So how when pregnant again, am I not going to think the same is going to happen? I try to keep positive but everyday is a struggle to be honest.

I'm sorry to see so many women in this thread going through the struggles of pregnancy after loss but it's helped me to read your posts and know I'm not alone here either!

One thing I wanted to share that I think helps me is actually knowing I survived some of the worst of my miscarriages and was able to try again. So maybe I can do it again if I have to?

It has been and might continue to be a fight for me to have a living child. However, I have already shown I can pick myself up again and continue. I believe that shouldn't be underestimated. So it may sound strange but I am actually proud of everyday I get through in this journey. And I'm proud that I've got to this point, pregnant again and able to be here with other courageous women in threads like these. Because I'm finding it hard to have any positive associations with this pregnancy as I know it is out of my control, having some positive associations to something that I can control helps me!

Wishing you all the luck with all your pregnancies🤞🤞🤞

I’m the same as a few others and the link crashes my phone, can’t find it by search ☹️

After my bit of spotting this weekend my nausea has kicked in big time - I’m taking it as a good sign!

countrypunk · 07/02/2023 08:17

Welcome to the newbies. I'm so sorry to read that so many women here have experienced baby loss. @cocoforbes you put things beautifully.

@BambiBooBoo Looking good! I did another this morn too and it looks like yours.

I keep saying this is the last time I'll test. We'll see...

@countrypunk I know 🙈 I can't help it as I just want to keep seeing those 2 lines appear. But I definitely need to stop now

Looks great!!

countrypunk · 07/02/2023 09:18

@BambiBooBoo 😊♥️

TealDreams · 07/02/2023 09:22

@BambiBooBoo @countrypunk I'm the same. 5w + 5 today and I'm still taking tests every few days especially when I feel different. The last 2 times I've been pregnant I watched my HCG levels drop until I bled and I know it sounds weird but I just would rather know if it's coming. Thankfully things look better this time around 🤞🏼 xx

Kestrel3 · 07/02/2023 10:11

Hi all
I’m currently 5+1 and constantly checking everything it’s driving me mad. I had a mis miscarriage last October picked up on my 12 week scan which was awful. We are super lucky to get pregnant again so fast.

I have been offered an early scan next week as I have Pityriasis rosea. I had this rash when I had my miscarriage in October , they are not sure it is what caused my miscarriage but the nice guidelines suggest it can be a potential cause. So now they are being overly cautious. Has anyone else had this rash?

countrypunk · 07/02/2023 10:14

@TealDreams 💐 for you. I think the constant testing can add to the anxiety. I keep trying to remind myself that there's nothing I can do to change the outcome, and to enjoy each day that I'm pregnant.

Hopefulx · 07/02/2023 10:15

Hey everyone! I hope you don’t mind me joining 🥰 I got my BPF on Saturday (9DPO) and am currently 12 DPO today so should be 4 weeks on Thursday.

In the same boat as a lot of you in that I had Mc last year so I keep thinking it’s going to happen again 🙈

Did anyone have any symptoms at 12 DPO in convincing myself I should feel something 😂 had the mildest cramps but that’s all really. Congratulations to you all ❤️

Tabbycat92 · 07/02/2023 11:52

@Halpmer it's still crashing my phone 🤔 any way you're able to add people to the group instead? Maybe by name or email address?

BambiBooBoo · 07/02/2023 14:13

@Tabbycat92 - we can invite people to the group with your name on Facebook

BambiBooBoo · 07/02/2023 14:14

I think? Idk how it works exactly

Halpmer · 07/02/2023 14:38

Sorry guys, work today.

I'm not sure what to do about the link crashing phones! Can you copy and paste it into your phone's browser instead of clicking straight through from the thread?

I just changed the settings so you may be able to find it now if you look: it's just 'Girls' Chit Chat' -- the change of setting doesn't mean that members are displayed btw.

Also, make sure you answer the Q about Mumsnet AND agree to the group rules otherwise the admin auto assist will decline your request if I don't catch it in time 😅.

Halpmer · 07/02/2023 14:40

@Tabbycat92 I've just let you in 😅 glad that worked out!!

Beckabo · 07/02/2023 15:27

Having a little of a panic, I've just been filing at work, went to the bathroom and there was the a slight pink tinge. I'm going to check when I next go to the toilet to see if it changes but could this be normal? 😕

Chanteuse · 07/02/2023 16:27

Thanks @Halpmer I’ve found it! 😊

I am absolutely exhausted today, just zero energy. I work late on Tuesdays too 😩

JJM13 · 07/02/2023 16:54

I’ve just asked to join the fb group x

Simonakk · 07/02/2023 17:27

I had pink watery discharge first 12 weeks with my youngest. All was fine but I was stressed these 3 months
