I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

Are you able to do a new link? All the ones so far have crashed my phone 🤣🤣🙈

Duv · 06/02/2023 18:21

I told my GP today and they sent me a link for self referral to my local maternity unit/hospital which I filled. Does this commit me to that maternity unit for the duration of my pregnancy? I've done some research and it's not a very well rated hospital for maternal care and (I didn't realise this before) but I think I could have referred myself to any London hospital and picked one I felt more comfortable with that's further away, so I'm sort of regretting my self referral now.

Tabbycat92 · 06/02/2023 18:28

@Halpmer any chance of a fresh link to the Facebook group?

Halpmer · 06/02/2023 18:37

I've missed it again 🤣🤣🙈
Keep crashing my phone 🧐

Tabbycat92 · 06/02/2023 19:11

@Halpmer crashes my phone too.

Halpmer · 06/02/2023 19:16

What happens when it crashes? Do you get onto the Facebook app or anything?

I've done a recording of what happens to me

Pollie89 · 06/02/2023 19:19

It's not loading it 🙈
It basically takes me to the app. Pretty much shows the group and then just shuts down out of Facebook

This was my issue. I have long cycles (PCOS) and ovulated on cycle day 23!
I was testing ovulation after my period and know exactly which days were my peak, I also hadn’t had sex that cycle prior to ovulation because I was ill, so there is zero way I conceived earlier than my dates. I knew the midwife wouldn’t listen so I just lied and her told her the first date of my last period was 14 days before I know I ovulated 🤷🏻‍♀️.
After having 2 miscarriages i the past I couldn’t face any confusion with dates or sizes at my scans because the would have been on the wrong days etc.

IndiaRose22 · 06/02/2023 19:39

Hi all, have you got room for another in here? Took a test today and it was positive! Different apos say different due days but around the 15th to 20th Oct!

Sorry! Trying to do that in a reply to “Duv”, can’t seem to figure out how to do a reply though 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@Mamabear345 - when writing a reply type @ and the names will pop up and you can tag the person

My cervix is feeling quite low today. Like middle finger can reach it when I'm sat down, anyone else have this?

I'm scared it's a sign of another miscarriage...

countrypunk · 06/02/2023 20:26

@BambiBooBoo I've deliberately stopped checking because I've read it can vary loads throughout pregnancy and from woman to woman and it's yet another thing to worry about. My advice: step away from the cervix.

BambiBooBoo · 06/02/2023 20:27

@countrypunk okay thank you. Everything I was reading was saying it was a MC sign. I wasn't purposely checking- DH asked why it felt different so I had to check and then I worried 🤦🏻‍♀️

onewishfulthinker · 06/02/2023 20:34

Thanks for setting up the Facebook group @Halpmer 🤗 I love a FB due date group!

This morning I woke feeling like I'd drunk 15 bottles of wine and stayed up until 3. Grim, but I'm also happy for allllll the symptoms.

Anyone else bloody freezing? I can't warm myself up these days! 🥶

BabyG2loading · 06/02/2023 21:46

Good evening ladies, and congratulations to each and every one of you, hope it’s ok to join. Been a bit of a journey for me this past 2 years. Had MMC in July 21, MC in Dec 21, got pregnant in Jan 2022 and had my beautiful baby in Sept 2022, 19 weeks old tomorrow. As I am 42 coming in March we knew we would have to try quite soon again. Didn’t ever believe it would happen this soon, we tested positive last week, due around 10th October 2023. Like others I am terrified of MC, but trying to stay positive as I never believed this time last year that I would have my baby in my arms now and I do. Would love to join the Facebook group if could post the link again (others expired).

Chanteuse · 06/02/2023 21:47

Maybe post the name of the Fb group so we can search if the link isn’t working?

Tabbycat92 · 06/02/2023 21:52

I'm soooo crampy tonight 😣 I think I've over done things today.

Hello,

Is it OK for me to join the thread?

I found out I was pregnant yesterday after my period was late four days. I am 5+1 now by Flo and my due date is 10th October.

I am super worried.

Last June I suffered a missed miscarriage. I fell pregnant at the beginning of May - no cramping or implantation bleeding. I do remember feeling really lousy - more so than I felt with my first. I was really tired, nauseous and had itchy and tender boobs. My body led me to believe I was pregnant when really the pregnancy didn't develop further than five weeks.

I am not cramping at all again this time round. Though the past two days the smell of blood has been around and I swear yesterday when I did the urine sample for the tests it was a reddy-brown colour. I feel as if I am going mad. I wish I would start cramping or something.

I had no cramps at all until I was 7 weeks last year. I feel like it's bad news. DH keeps saying to think positive but it's hard. I see so many similarities to last year.

Symptoms I'm having are tiredness, excessive hunger, heartburn, headaches and light-headedness.

I can't have an early scan due to not being able to tolerate an ultrasound wand. I have medical trauma which makes it more uncomfortable than usual. I struggled last year when they had to do one and it didn't go all the way due to the trauma.

I just want to know everything is all right. 😪
