I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

I had pink watery discharge first 12 weeks with my youngest. All was fine but I was stressed these 3 months

Thank you! I think I panicked too soon anyway 😅I've been to the loo three times since and there's been nothing 😅

Lilacbluewaters · 07/02/2023 20:47

Hi everyone, room for one more? Found out I was pregnant on the 30th of jan. total shock, baby #3 and have been through some emotions but very excited now. Can I join the Facebook group?

Chanteuse · 08/02/2023 08:07

I got this this morning! So I’m inclined to go with Premom on 5+2 not pregnancy+ on 5+0. Yay! 🥰

Due October 2023
Needtobuildabridge · 08/02/2023 08:12

Congratulations @Chanteuse! It's so good to see these milestones isn't it?
Do you have an early scan booked?

Anyone else having trouble with their midwife?
I did all the forms to register with her on 30/1
-and I text her on 6/2 to ask her to help me work out how far along I am as my cycles are irregular.
But I’ve just been ignored.

I KNOW it’s only been a week- but usually by now I’d be throwing up SEVERELY because of HG- so my last midwife said if I get pregnant again, to get registered ASAP and have the tablets on standby for when the sickness starts.
But I can’t get the tablets until the midwife confirms I’m registered with her/ says “ok” to the tablets 🙄

Last time a different midwife ignored all my important texts for weeks too! Doesn’t give me much hope that they care

Hey! I’m almost 5 weeks, according to NHS calculator due on the 12th October. I’m just wondering if anyone else is suffering from insomnia and very vivid dreams/nightmares it’s terrifying me to the point it makes me feel so rubbish all day :-( x

Chanteuse · 08/02/2023 09:34

@Needtobuildabridge I’m going to book one for next week at 6+6 :)

I'm around the same dates as you and having exactly the same - mad anxiety when I'm trying to get to sleep and then really light, broken sleep. Managed 3.30 - 8am last night. Poor us 😞

LWestYorks · 08/02/2023 11:21

@monsteramunch It’s awful isn’t it - are you having weird dreams/nightmares? My weird dreams are every night and nightmares now and again. They started about 2 weeks ago, I don’t struggle to get to sleep it’s actually staying asleep but the dreams are waking me up really anxious. X

lighthousechristmas · 08/02/2023 11:42

Past two days i've been really struggling to sleep too, but i've never been one to nap during the day unless i'm unwell. Furstrating

Saturnsmoon · 08/02/2023 11:54

I’ve really been struggling with insomnia the past few days. I have been having quite vivid dreams for the past week or two (didn’t know I was pregnant but kind of adds up now).

That sounds horrible 😞

My dreams are always very vivid so they haven't changed much!

Im doing the stupid thing where worrying about not being able to sleep is making me not sleep.

I think this bit is so tough because we've been TTC for 13 cycles and I'm so early on I'm anxious to get to the 12 week stage and beyond which is still so far away!

So while some symptoms are tough I'm still in the headspace of finding them reassuring so I'm trying to spin it into a positive in a strange way I think.

(She says, as she feels sick again)

Praying we all have sticky, healthy beans Flowers

LWestYorks · 08/02/2023 12:10

@Saturnsmoon how far are you? Apart from the dreams I don’t feel too bad…..At the moment!! X

Saturnsmoon · 08/02/2023 12:33

@LWestYorks I think I’m somewhere between 5-6 weeks so guess it’s still quite early. Other than the insomnia don’t have much in the way of symptoms although felt like my nipples had become more prominent but that seems to have died down a bit again now which worries me a little bit as I had a mc last month and my symptoms disappeared before the bleeding began anyway trying to take it one day at a time. How far along are you?

LWestYorks · 08/02/2023 12:39

@Saturnsmoon im sorry to hear that. I’m 5 weeks today…I think! Have you just got the insomnia? Are you dreams awful or just like weird? I started sertraline 8 weeks ago and not sure that with my hormones is playing up. X

mummytoemilia · 08/02/2023 12:46

I'm out for an October baby now! Af came today!😢

BambiBooBoo · 08/02/2023 12:49

I think I'm 4weeks4days and I've got some brown spotting- freaking out!
I don't know if it's a bad thing or what to do

BambiBooBoo · 08/02/2023 12:55

Reading about it apparently it's common to get brown discharge around 4 weeks pregnant?

Has anyone had/ got this?

Feelslikeforever22 · 08/02/2023 13:01

@mummytoemilia im so sorry for your loss.

adayatatime23 · 08/02/2023 13:31

@BambiBooBoo i had this before my MC last year so obviously it wasn’t a great sign then but I do know from researching heaps of threads at the time that 9 times out of 10 it is totally normal

Saturnsmoon · 08/02/2023 13:37

@LWestYorks mine aren’t awful just very vivid. Maybe check with go about possible side effects of your meds. Nightmares are horrible so I feel for you if you’re having them frequently.

Natacat · 08/02/2023 13:41

Hi!! Hoping I can join you all.

Got my BFP on Friday. So today I’m not 4+2.

Haven’t been pregnant since 2015 but never been successful, hoping this one is a sticky one. Super excited and nervous as really didn’t think it would happen

Drea83 · 08/02/2023 14:06

Hey everyone. Am currently 39 (almost 40) with my 1st baby and absolutely terrified.

Drea83 · 08/02/2023 14:07

Sorry was meant to put pregnant with my 1st baby. Haha

Phoenixwings1989 · 08/02/2023 14:52

@LWestYorks I am 5+2 and had insomnia two weeks ago. Though I put it down to DD not sleeping great at the time I think that was probably the reason. Some nights I will feel so tired but then lie awake wishing for it to come while other nights I'll get to sleep easily but then I'll keep waking up. As for the dreams I don't really have any bad or good so I can't comment. It's a bummer though for sure.
