I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

@monsteramunch I've had quite a lot of cramping since before my positive test. It's eased off a bit today and I'm 4+5. I think for some women it goes on much longer though and it's very normal.

Hello @sofia7 🌻🌺

Kirst0602 · 05/02/2023 19:36

Hi all, I've just found the due in October 23 page for kicks count. I'm.still in my previous one from my daughter they are much easier to follow than this and invaluable for advice ect. if anyone wants to join me on there 😊

Tabbycat92 · 05/02/2023 19:38

@Kirst0602 where do you find that group? Is it a Facebook thing?

TwinMum18x · 05/02/2023 20:05

Good evening everyone, hope it's okay to join!

I'm 5+2, due around 6/7 October, very very excited but terrified. I had a chemical pregnancy my last cycle, so feel very lucky to have fallen pregnant again so quickly!

Fingers crossed all goes well, and congratulations on all your BFP!!

Xx

Pregnancychatter · 05/02/2023 20:16

Yeah on Facebook, type in the search bar kicks count- due in October 2023 and it should come up you just have to request to join with your due date x

Tabbycat92 · 05/02/2023 20:31

Do you know if this would show up on your Facebook feed? I don't want it to be public knowledge yet and worried all my Facebook friends would see I've joined a due in October group.

BambiBooBoo · 05/02/2023 20:42

@85Jen - only people in the group would be able to see

Anyone else seem to be peeing like crazy 😂

bobb11 · 05/02/2023 21:15

Hi everyone! So happy to find this thread and see so many people due in October 😊 found out last week that I'm pregnant, 5+5 and anxiety is through the roof! Went to docs a few days ago and she took my blood pressure twice to try get a better result.

Any tips for dealing with general anxiety during pregnancy?? I'm currently freaking out about my entire life 🙈 I asked the doc about magnesium supplements, but she just said try to deal with it at home.. But offered no solutions 🥴

Thank you!

Constantly!! Sleeping tonight is going to be interesting, currently weeing loads of times an hour!

Also feel sick and tummy pains. And super sore boobs.

But only 3+6 so surely all those things can't be due to pregnancy already?!

sofia7 · 05/02/2023 22:12

@monsteramunch All sounds totally normal to me too 💐

sofia7 · 05/02/2023 22:21

@bobb11 Congratulations! It’s such an anxious time isn’t it. Last time I was pregnant I think I tried to take some time out of the day to just ‘be’ and try to empty my mind. Things like a relaxing bath or watching something escapist on Netflix. Also just taking the pregnancy week by week at first and trying not to think too far ahead

Infinitebows · 05/02/2023 22:21

Peeing like crazy here too! I'm now conscious of what I'm drinking and where I'm going because I'm peeing so much. How can at 6 weeks (just over) it be the size of a lentil and yet causing this much bladder weakness 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks so much.

Oh god I feel so sick 😬

This week will be interesting!!

So grateful I'm self employed and work from home.

This must be absolutely bloody terrible if you have to commute and work out of the home.

Thank you so much for your reply @sofisofia7 🥰 I'm trying my best to not lose the run of myself, but it's mostly while I'm sleeping and have no control that I suddenly wake up in a panic - not sure if it's normal, or if there's any such thing as normal again 🙈

Halpmer · 06/02/2023 08:25

Hi everyone! Just seen some stuff about Facebook groups. I'm happy to set up a group on FB if people wanted. We did this from a Mumsnet thread when I was pregnant last time and it's still a lovely group, still going strong! We ended up having a WhatsApp for those that wanted it and lots of us got really close and have met up with babies etc.

Some choose to be non-posters, some post every now and then for advice, others post more frequently and some want to be involved in WhatsApps etc. so it's nice that everyone can get as involved - or as uninvolved - as they like with no judgement.

You can make these totally private (can't see members if not in the group etc) and we named it something non-pregnancy related last time to calm people's fears of others' notification spotting habits!

Anyway, understand if not and won't be offended, but let me know as thought I'd just put it out there in case it would help people feel less anxious 😁.

countrypunk · 06/02/2023 08:29

@Halpmer I think the Facebook group is a lovely idea but I'm not on Facebook, boooo!

So I'll keep posting here, in case anyone else doesn't use Facebook either 🙂

monsteramunch · 06/02/2023 08:34

I'm not on Facebook either but that's a lovely idea for people who are Smile

monsteramunch · 06/02/2023 08:37

I'm 4 weeks today and last night felt SO sick in addition to my sore boobs and general exhaustion - had no idea symptoms like sickness could start so early on!

These tests are 11/12/13DPO. I didn't want to test daily (find it easier to wait until period is due) but after last month's suspected chemical (where I had lots of symptoms but didn't test then 'period' arrived late and v heavy) I think all information is good information.

Think they're looking ok?

Once I get a solid / dye stealer I'll stop testing which will be nice!

@monsteramunch Definitely! Lovely progression there 🙂

Pregnancychatter · 06/02/2023 08:48

Great idea, I'd join. Would be great if people couldn't see who's in the group etc just incase Grin
