I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

@countrypunk it's given me some reassurance! I had what I thought was a very faint positive since 6DPO... now I'm thinking it was evap. But I'm 10DPO today and hopefully not out this month still🤞🏼 I'm holding my wee until 3pm and going to test hoping I get something more visable today xx

Jennaf89 · 05/02/2023 11:56

countrypunk · 05/02/2023 11:51

@Jennaf89 Also I used FRERs which are very sensitive!

My post was meant to be reassuring... hope it came across that way 🧡

Thanks hun. I think im going to take FRERs xx

countrypunk · 05/02/2023 11:58

@mummytoemilia I tested with a cheapie 14dpo in the afternoon and got a squinter of a line. Then the next morning with my first pee of the day on a FRER it was much much darker. So don't panic if your line this afternoon is really faint - just test again first thing tomoz.

MuppetTime · 05/02/2023 12:00

@Jennaf89 I had a faint line at 12dpo on a clear blue. Done a FRER the next day and it was much more obvious. Still faint but a clear positive. So you never know.

This was my 12dpo test and my 13dpo FRER.

Now at 17dpo the line is darker than the control so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

@countrypunk well the lines I've been having are literally there/ not there. Like I have to look in light to see... but it's one of them the test doesn't look completely neg as I catch eyes with something . But it's way to fair to even capture on camera that's why I'm thinking tiny evap maybe ? Idk. But I will test over the next few days... I will probably class myself as out completely by 14DPO or when I receive my period xxx

countrypunk · 05/02/2023 12:06

@mummytoemilia I had that with my 14dpo test! But yes, keep testing and time will tell. Sending loads and loads of luck x

mummytoemilia · 05/02/2023 12:09

Oh really! That's reassuring. Thankyou.
Praying I'm just implanting late then!
Thanks so much! I will keep this thread updated 🤞🏼 x

Duv · 05/02/2023 12:18

Is anyone else basically symptomless? I'm at 3 weeks +6 days, and yesterday I was getting mild twinges in my womb that felt like pre-period signs (but sounds like that's normal for pregnancy too?) . Other than boobs feel normal (where actually they tend to hurt pre-period so maybe normal is good?). I also have a sore throat but don't feel unwell - but probably that's just a cold not a pregnancy thing.

My lines have been getting steadily darker, so hoping it's just too early for symptoms?

Jennaf89 · 05/02/2023 12:18

@MuppetTime thank you that is reassuring. I will test again in a few days xx

Chanteuse · 05/02/2023 12:59

I have had a small amount of brown spotting today. I’m really upset about it. Can’t seem to get through to epu either. 🥲

Infinitebows · 05/02/2023 14:41

@Chanteuse I've had brown spotting too. I had bright red blood yesterday when I woke up but it quickly turned into brown spotting as the morning went on. I feel fine though no tummy pain and my boobs are still tender so just hoping all is okay, my scan isn't until next week. I'm 6+1 today and over 40 so really really hoping momma nature is on my side this time as it's my last chance. Hope you're okay - if it's any help (and I'd do well to remember this myself) I bled quite bad for two days with my first child and all was fine. X

Isitthathardtobekind · 05/02/2023 14:54

@Infinitebows how old are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’m over 40 too.

Chanteuse · 05/02/2023 15:33

@Infinitebows thank you 💕 I spoke to my sister and she had brown spotting until she was 12 weeks and my mum had to get a cervical stitch. Spoke to epu and as suspected I’m too early for them to do anything so they just said monitor & call back in a week if it’s still happening. Seems to have stopped for now 🤞🏼

Infinitebows · 05/02/2023 15:46

@Isitthathardtobekind I've just turned 43, how about you? X

@Chanteuse pleased it's stopped for you, 🤞🏼 for all of us. I do think it's more common that we expect but it's just so hard not to worry. My MC last summer has made this pregnancy so much of a worry X

Tabbycat92 · 05/02/2023 16:08

My brown discharge has stopped after this morning and so have the cramps, so hoping all is well 🤞 my dark lines this morning have reassured me.

@WhiteHorse92 sorry to hear that you're out this cycle. All the best for your next cycle!

@Infinitebows and @Chanteuse fingers crossed for you both. After my scare this morning I've googled more than I'd like, and it seems it can be totally normal 🤞

@Jennaf89 that looks positive to me! Congratulations 🥳

@Duv in my three pregnancies I've had hardly any symptoms too. Not everyone gets them, and some get them later on.

Infinitebows · 05/02/2023 16:17

@Tabbycat92 thank you 😊

Isitthathardtobekind · 05/02/2023 16:21

@Infinitebows - exactly the same! Just 43. Glad to hear this- makes me feel better!

Tabbycat92 · 05/02/2023 16:33

Ok, I spoke too soon. The brown discharge is back 😢. Both times it's happened after I've breastfed my 1 year old. Anyone any idea if this is related?

OrionNebula · 05/02/2023 17:36

Very few for me at the moment, just slightly sore boobs. But I was the same in my last pregnancy, hardly any symptoms in first trimester at all. We both might get some later on though, it's early days yet.

adayatatime23 · 05/02/2023 17:43

@Duv im 5+3 and I just have sore boobs, insomnia/fatigue and that’s basically it. I had the slight sore throat prob about the same time as you, I read your immune system dips when the babe is settling in so I presumed it was maybe something to do with that, it never got any worse!

Infinitebows · 05/02/2023 17:56

@Isitthathardtobekind likewise, nice to know! We got this 💪🏼

sofia7 · 05/02/2023 18:12

Hi everyone

Congratulations on all the BFPs!

Could I join please? I’m 5 weeks 1 day today, and according to Pregnancy + I’m due on 7 October. If all goes well, this will be my second child. My first will be 2 in the Spring. I’ve had a little nausea but today feeling slightly crampy at the top of my stomach. It might be bloating, just not sure! Last time I was so anxious I didn’t allow myself to think it would happen until she was here… probably not the most sensible approach to pregnancy 😂 Hope you’re all having good evenings x

monsteramunch · 05/02/2023 18:34

Hi @sofia7 Flowers

I think that's going to be what I'm like now we finally have a positive test (TTC#1) after 13 cycles!

Can feel my anxiety creeping in after my absolute elation, now that I have some cramps argh.

I'm 3+6 so I think it's actually quite normal to have mild cramping similar to period pains at this stage though? Not necessarily a bad sign?

ThomasinaLivesHere · 05/02/2023 18:35

@monsteramunch yes totally normal. I had that when pregnant with my son.

monsteramunch · 05/02/2023 18:42

Thanks so much @ThomasinaLivesHere that's really reassuring Flowers

Feels a bit like period cramps / a bit like diarrhoea cramps tonight. Not very nice at all!

Every stage of this, from the second we start TTC, is an absolute rollercoaster isn't it?!

I'm so bloated the last day or so that I look a few months gone already 😂

I'm not very big so if the bloating is going to continue then it won't be a secret for too long!
