I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

So glad I found this thread! I am super early but got my positive after a cancelled IUI round due to 3 large follicles. Still can't quite believe it and not letting myself get too excited yet.
Congratulations to you all ❤️

Hooray, my third FRER is darker again today. Gonna make myself save my last one for Friday, and then I have the treat of a digital to use next week sometime ☺️

Do you mind me asking what DPO you are in each of these please? X

OrionNebula · 03/02/2023 11:33

Hi everyone can I join? Did a test yesterday, really strong line straight away. First date of last period was 1st Jan (east to remember! Smile) so due date around 8 or 9th Oct. This is my second baby, DD is 3.

I'm excited but kind of nervous too as I'm 39 and worried about things going wrong... symptom wise I felt awful yesterday, dizzy, sick & headaches but much better today. I had hardly any symptoms in my last pregnancy so had an early scan for reassurance and will do the same this time.

Off to buy some non-alcoholic wine later as I do like a glass of wine on a Friday night... there seems to be so much more choice than last time I was pregnant! Just hope it's not rank ha ha SmileWine

So excited to find this thread. Did a test 2 days ago (day my period was due, but I was expecting it to be late as I ovulated late, so think this was only 9DPO) but got a faint line on FRER and no line a cheapie. Next day did another FRER and a slightly stronger faint line, did a boots early test today and clear pink line and now a faint line on the cheap less sensitive test, so feeling fairly sure this is a positive result! So excited, this is my first time being pregnant.

@doodlepoodlenoodle I'm also 4 weeks and 3 days today! So you're due 10 October too? I'm 39 (today!) so I get the age worries. Nothing we can do about that so we just need to look after ourselves and hope for the best. The chances are everything will be absolutely fine.

🧡

Yep, due October 10th! So glad I've found someone in almost exactly the same boat! How exciting! Congratulations 😘Flowers

doodlepoodlenoodle · 03/02/2023 12:20

Thank you @VictoriannaB , congratulations to you too! Wishing you all the best as as well FlowersFlowers

Glad you posted this! I'm due 5th oct and I've felt AWFUL the last two days. Sick, dizzy, hot. I was sure something was up. This is technically my third pregnancy but I've never made it this far so symptoms never really set in as much!

@Chanteuse I did this blood test Here.

Got the results the next evening, and gave great piece of mind. Pretty cheap too!

TealDreams · 03/02/2023 13:36

@OrionNebula thank you! Things are going well so far. Have a scan next week 🤍

Chanteuse · 03/02/2023 14:33

I think my symptoms are worse in the afternoon 😮‍💨 exhausted by this time. Stretchy pains and heartburn this afternoon 🥴

I've just booked an early scan for 20th Feb Smile

I find I just have to eat all day long to keep the nausea feeling away (and that still doesn’t hugely help, just gives a tiny bit of relief!). I’ve eaten like an elephant all day and getting to the stage where I feel really ‘meh’ about certain foods. I hate this stage, I’d just like to teleport forward 6-8 weeks in time!

frankie15 · 03/02/2023 16:54

Hi everyone is there room for a little one 🤗

Congratulations to everyone!!

I tested positive over the weekend - 2 years to the day my nan passed away and she was convinced I had twin baby girls before she died! So I’m feeling like she definitely sent me this 💕

I had my mirena removed on 27th October and actually haven’t had a period since but I have been using OPK’s and had slight spotting on 1st of Jan so my flo/Premom app says my due date is 7th/8th October so 5 weeks tomorrow.

I am thinking about booking a private early scan - around the 8/9 week mark as I’ve become so so anxious, as someone mentioned earlier about the power of tik tok I feel like since finding out every other video is about loss it’s definitely fuelling my worries 🤯 only symptoms I’ve actually had so far is awful acne!! And cramps like my period is about to start, I have had to take paracetamol on two occasions (I’m not so used to period pains anymore as I had none for 5 years with my coil) 😂. I’m driving myself crazy cause I’m wanting symptoms to reassure myself that this is actually happening- but I’m sure I’ll kick myself when the symptoms start and I want to feel better haha.

I’m looking forward to being able to talk to people who are going through things at the same time as me it’ll definitely help! ❤️

OrionNebula · 03/02/2023 18:38

Welcome @frankie15 ! I know the feeling, I've heard so many horror stories about people who have horrendous symptoms in pregnancy and last time I felt guilty for worrying that I had hardly any. This time we'll see, yesterday I felt awful and today I feel grand 🤷‍♀️

Just poured a glass of non-alcoholic Sauvignon. It smells like cat food weirdly but tastes ok! Grin

Pregnancychatter · 03/02/2023 20:04

Anyone else at first really obsessing but now kind of just feeling relaxed about it? Preferring the relaxation! 🙂

adayatatime23 · 03/02/2023 20:14

@Pregnancychatter im starting to feel a bit like this, what will be will be 😌

Elking18 · 03/02/2023 20:43

Hi everyone, mind if I join?
I tested positive last week, estimated due date 7th October! This is out second baby and I always wish I'd joined a group with my first but I never had the courage, so I'm doing it this time! Looking forward to sharing this pregnancy journey with all of you!

Needtobuildabridge · 03/02/2023 20:47

@Pregnancychatter Yes! I've spent nearly 2 weeks doing ALL of the tests, but my blood test came back with a great HCG level. My Clearblue is showing at 3+ weeks, and I feel like I can begin to relax and enjoy. ☺️
It's a much more enjoyable feeling!

Hello everyone, okay if I join? Did a test super early only 10dpo as was feeling nausea and couldn’t believe it was positive. This is baby number two for me, I’ve a 2 yr old boy. Over the moon but daren’t let myself get excited as not even 4 weeks yet 🤞been testing every day to look at the line progression, know it won’t change the outcome but so hard not to! I would be due 15th of October

Tabbycat92 · 03/02/2023 21:41

@mummytoemilia no idea! I didn't ovulate when I was supposed to, my tests never picked up a peak, so I presumed I'd missed it and ovulated early. We dtd once and caught, so I must have ovulated late instead. I'd predict them to be 10/11/12 dpo going by when we dtd.

Tabbycat92 · 03/02/2023 21:42

@OrionNebula let me know if you find a decent red. I have yet to find one. I tried a few last time (2021) and they were all terrible.

Franki01 · 03/02/2023 23:17

Hi guys, can I join? I’m very early days, 3+4, due around 15 October.

I got my BFP at 9dpo and line has been slowly getting stronger. I’m feeling anxious like lots of others here! Not really experiencing any symptoms, other than being tired (and itchy down there?!! sorry tmi! Pharmacist said pregnancy hormones can change your ph levels). Have been testing pretty frequently since BFP for fear of it disappearing…. This will be bub #1 for me.

Congrats to everyone on their BFPs and fingers crossed for sticky beans all round🌿🌿🌿
