I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

@Needtobuildabridge same here, I'm not sure about you but this pregnancy is all I can think about! And I mean ALL!! I think its because this is my very last chance. It's consuming my every single thought. Sending hugs 💕

TealDreams · 02/02/2023 17:33

@Needtobuildabridge I feel exactly the same, but in all honesty in a few weeks when you're able to tell people they'll understand why!!!

TealDreams · 02/02/2023 17:33

Anyone on here have a physical job? Are you carrying on or saying you have an injury etc? I'm 5 weeks and I've told my manager but yet to tell any colleagues xx

Chanteuse · 02/02/2023 17:40

@Needtobuildabridge sorry you’ve had a bad day! Honestly, I feel the same - all I can think/care about is my pregnancy and keeping it safe!

doublewater · 02/02/2023 17:43

Hi everyone. I hope you're all doing okay.
My anxiety is really getting the better of me today. I'm convinced my symptoms aren't as bad as they were so I'm spiralling.

I popped out and bought another test. Is this a dye stealer? I think the control line is faint and the other line is strong but I'm now worrying that I'm wrong!

Hi ladies, I'd tentaively like to join as I'm currently 3+6 after IVF. It doesn't feel real yet and I'm really anxious. I've got lots of cramps that feel like period cramps and sore boobs, I'm also really hungry and thirsty but that might just be the progesterone I'm on.

@MuppetTime my temp was dropping for days which is what prompted me to do an early test after IVF because I was convinced with that and the period type cramps I was out. I rang the clinic and the consultant said to put the thermometer away because it can be erractic in early pregancy. Hope that helps ease your worry slightly. Today was the first day I didn't temp and I felt better.. until POAS and analysing todays line compared to yesterday and seeing no progression 😅🙃

@fleur89 thank you so much for that website! 🌻

@Purrrrr I recognise you from the IVF thread nice to see you here too. 😊

@doublewater that looks like an awesome dye stealer to me! 😊

Tabbycat92 · 02/02/2023 19:48

Hi, tentatively joining. Had two faint positives today and yesterday, and a load of symptoms I recognise from last time.
Would be due mid October. This will be my 3rd baby, 4th pregnancy.

MuppetTime · 02/02/2023 19:57

@MsSandyToes yeah I know I really need to step away from the thermometer. It's just so hard when I'm so paranoid! I've now been worrying all day that my boobs are only sore because I've been prodding them so much!
I did take a new test today and it seems to have got darker (tests taken Monday, Tuesday and today) so I'm slightly happier... until tomorrow anyway!

I’ve had my booking In appointment through - 7th March which is also DH 30th bday! 🥹 seems so far away! I may book an early scan for the weekend after depending on what they say in the appointment.

countrypunk · 02/02/2023 20:36

Hello everyone, can I tentatively join? I'm 4+2 with my first baby. It's an IVF baby after several years of trying and I'm 39. My first positive test was the day before yesterday. Yesterday I was high as a kite but today I can't stop worrying that it's all going to go away. I'm symptom spotting like crazy - I've had sore boobs but they're on and off, and I've been quite crampy. I'm trying to tell myself what will be will be, and even if it doesn't work out this time I should be happy to know that I can at least get pregnant! But it's very hard because I so desperately want it to work out this time. I'm sure everyone here knows exactly how I feel.

Welcome and congratulations! 😊 I know it's so much easier said than done but try to keep your mind off it. It's out of our control. I've found myself worrying a lot too but I'm trying to keep busy.

I've been reading and doing some crafting which has helped.

Here's hoping the first trimester flies by for both of us!

countrypunk · 02/02/2023 21:05

@VictoriannaB Thank you, congratulations to you too! You're so right. It's my bday tomorrow (so technically still 38!) and my partner and I plus dog are going away for the night, so that'll be a good distraction.

Crafting sounds nice. I'm quite partial to a jigsaw puzzle.

And congratulations to everyone else on the thread too. I should have said that first!

Ss32 · 02/02/2023 21:06

@VictoriannaB i try to keep that mindset too, what will be will be unfortunately (or hopefully fortunately!). I’m trying to keep very low key as one of my best friends at work is on her first round of IVF and, if it’s successful, I want her to be able to announce before me as it’s her first and she’s waited for this so long!

My boobs have calmed down a bit now but I’m so hungry and the tiredness is kicking in which is hard with a toddler. My iron was really low at in my first pregnancy so I’ve got on the iron supplements already to try help and trying to keep at the gym as the exercise seems to help. Im a bit nauseous but so hopeful that it’s not a sicky pregnancy as I’d never be able to keep it quiet then! I’ll probably try the midwife next week on my day off

That's so very thoughtful of you. I'm finding it harder and harder to keep it quiet and I'm only 5+1! People will just straight up ask if you're pregnant and it's so awkward because I am a terrible liar.

I feel you in the hunger and tiredness, I feel like all I do is eat and sleep 😂

Fingers crossed you're not too nauseous!

countrypunk · 02/02/2023 21:14

@VictoriannaB Thank you 🙂

@Ss32 That's incredibly thoughtful of you re your friend.

Ss32 · 02/02/2023 21:27

Ahh thank you. I think, because it’s my second baby, I did everything big scale with my first (despite her being a Covid baby) so I’m happy to be a bit more low-key this time! Especially with a toddler to run around after!

Needtobuildabridge · 02/02/2023 21:40

I've just had my beta-HCG results back and I was at 1377 at 17dpo. This seems high? Twins?! 😶

Got my positive pregnancy test about an hour ago! I'm currently 4 weeks 3 days and I conceived on our 4th cycle.

Bit anxious as I'm 37 and know things are riskier. This is my second pregnancy, my DD is nearly 8 (different dad) but my DH and I are ever so excited! (His first).

Congratulations to everyone Flowers

Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉 I'll be 35 by my due date so I feel you. All we can do is follow guidance and look after ourselves, everything else is outside of our control.

Wishing you the very best for your pregnancy 😊

countrypunk · 03/02/2023 08:25

@doodlepoodlenoodle I'm also 4 weeks and 3 days today! So you're due 10 October too? I'm 39 (today!) so I get the age worries. Nothing we can do about that so we just need to look after ourselves and hope for the best. The chances are everything will be absolutely fine.

🧡

Frosty91 · 03/02/2023 08:51

@countrypunk happy birthday 🎂 hope you have a lovely day.

Hi I would like to join everyone. I'm currently 4 weeks 1 day. My first IVF cycle and transfer. I had my bloods done yesterday and the HCG was 400😍 anyone had that and had twins. I will be going back tomorrow for some more bloods. Feeling postive. How is everyone feeling I'm due on 12th October? Anyone else. I got my first early scan booked too. Symptoms wise I have sore boobs and out of breath x I pray all this goes well. When did everyone start feeling nausea.

countrypunk · 03/02/2023 09:04

@Frosty91 Whoop, you're here! Thank you 😊

You could be having twins! But I think your level is within normal range for a singleton too, just at the higher end? This makes your early scan doubly exciting...

Chanteuse · 03/02/2023 09:33

I’ve had a dye stealer this morning so I’m done with testing now! Although part of me wants a blood test to confirm!

According to Premom my due date is 9/10/23 but pregnancy+ has me on 11/10/23 so early ish October. I suppose we won’t know really until the dating scan!

Tabbycat92 · 03/02/2023 10:32

Hooray, my third FRER is darker again today. Gonna make myself save my last one for Friday, and then I have the treat of a digital to use next week sometime ☺️
