@ChloeN i have a bbhugme and it’s amazing. I brought it with me to the hospital to give birth and still used it when I wasn’t pregnant 😂 well worth the money

@BCxx funny you say that! I had my scan yesterday and then had a really bad night's sleep 😂
My brain couldn't turn off now it feels real and I was just playing the day over in my head and picturing life in 6 months with a bubba! 🙈 It was a happy reason to not sleep but I'm tired today 😂

@marleyandme aw bless you 😂 you had an early scan too didn’t you? Did it feel way more real than that? I hope it hits me next week 🙈

Morning all, I'm almost 14 weeks and have been lucky with my side effects. I feel nauseous yesterday afternoon, was sick in the night, and don't feel good today. Also exhausted from a busy weekend driving and visiting family, and not sleeping well. I'm tempted to call in sick but have a busy day and feel bad about it - any thoughts? X

@sprollie11 I always get bad guilt of being off ill, but really you should if you don’t feel well! You need to look after yourself xx (I should probs take my own advice🤣)

@BCxx no my 12 week scan yesterday was the first time seeing baby so I guess that's why it hit me so hard! If I'd had an early scan I'd have had more time to get my head around it but it felt like going into the scan yesterday that they could have just been like no, nothing there because I had no proof until then 😂

If there is any perfect time to be needing a day off it's during pregnancy! Atleast it doesn't go against your sickness record!

@sprollie11 I would take the day off for sure! You need to listen to your body at this time!
Has anyone brought a smaller pregnancy pillow which supports back and tummy only?

DS stole mine during the night and actually took it to his own bed!!! Raging 🤣

Thank you @sally16 and @P1pk ! I have taken it off and have spent the morning snoozing which has helped no end.

@sally16 what do you mean about it not going against my sickness record? I didn't realise this was a thing! Though I've still not told my boss yet...

@sprollie11 pregnancy related absence doesn't count towards normal sickness time!
Because it's temporary and protected! So maybe make them aware it was pregnancy related once you tell your employers so they can change if :) xx

Had my appointment with perinatal mental health, there putting so much into place this time, such an amazing team!
But likely have PTSD so having me attend my scans at fetal medicine waiting area, different area for waiting for my planned section etc, my own midwives for that day etc!
I'm so happy I'm finally being heard

I had my second therapy session today and now have an absence review meeting at work this afternoon to get through. Really dreading it but told the therapist and he told me all the answers to give so just going to get through it as quick as I can and get back out! X

@BCxx are you bringing someone in with you? Like a union rep or manager from another area?

Had my scan today at 11+5. They haven't changed my due date as they don't change them with IVF. I'm actually still here waiting for the screening results as the bloods had already come back, just waiting for the midwife to write them up. Been here since 11am though 😩

Scan was amazing but baby was sitting down and wouldn't move to get all the measurements so I had to go for a walk and eat something sweet 😂

@somuchtolearnabout hopefully I get as much use out of mine! I’m so excited for it to come 🤣
