@Blueskies4 @Astar21 @HopefulBee @CaliGirl47 thank you all so so much!! I was so nervous before the scan, they were running behind and I was jittery and sweaty.
I nearly cried of relief when the sonographer said “wow what a great strong heart beat”. The baby was kicking its legs around and even sucking its thumb. It was amazing ❤️
@Bizzybee900 so sorry to hear about your previous losses, but huge congratulations on this pregnancy! Welcome to the group ❤️
We tried to keep it to ourselves for as long as possible, due to what happened to us previously. But when I started to get really sick and tired, we told very close family members as it was clear something was going on. Now we’ve had our scan and all looked well, we’ve told the rest of our families.
I completely understand how you feel in regards to telling people. You are brave if you share the news and you’re also brave if you choose to keep it to yourself!!
After a loss, I think it is hard to be completely and confidently positive. You always have seeds of doubt and worry. Unfortunately it’s something that accompanies us all, due to our past experiences. But try not (I know it’s hard and much easier said than done) to let your past experiences dictate this experience for you.
After telling all of our families, the love, happiness and support that has come from them has really filled my heart and has personally helped me feel much more positive.
Happy Sunday lovely people ❤️
