Most common early pregnancy signs?

After a long time ttc and having surgeries to repair my insides I've been given the go ahead to continue ttc again.

Trying desperately not to get my hopes up and to be realistic (whilst still making threads like this! 🤦🏾‍♀️) I don't want to symptom spot but finding it hard not to!

What were your earliest/first signs of pregnancy?

I would be about 8dpo ...

My last period date was 8th December with a 34 day cycle last month....

I'm panicking now that I'm just bleeding for some unknown reason.

Hi op! I’m a couple of days behind you but I’m also symptom spotting after this being our first cycle trying (but for our second baby)
with my first I remember I also bled a bit, how much would you say it is? Like a period starting or just like the amount you get from picking a big spot?
from memory my implantation bleeding with my first wasn’t the typical colour, but there wasn’t much of it. But I read it does vary and some women don’t even get any.
I also remember tiredness and strange boob pain with my first but can’t remember when it kicked in (whether it was pre or post testing).
im super tired the last couple of days so I’m hoping I’ll get lucky cycle 1, but I’m aware I could just be burnt out after Christmas.
fingers crossed it’s our month, BUT don’t be hard on yourself if it isn’t! X

I found out at 3 weeks, currently halfway there with my first.
I ate my cereal before work and by mid morning it still hadn't settled, I felt like I'd literally just eaten it all morning

Not nausea but not a normal feeling at all. Dashed to the pharmacy at lunch and bingo, there we were!

Oh god the nose. I followed someone around aldi in gym gear and had to do the whole shop backwards so I wasn't down wind of him, I started at the bread aisle and worked my way back to the veg!

@judelaw i had a bit of brown implantation bleeding a few days after the pink, think it just takes longer to work it’s way out!

Feeling very tired and irritable, dull aches in my tummy, needing the toilet loads and feeling a bit light headed.

No definitely not like a period starting - it was spotting type but not just like a tiny dot on toilet paper. I felt like it was quite thick like a discharge consistency (so so sorry - I'm cringing writing it!) but it was brown. Ive since been for another wee and it then was light pink! I've had ANOTHER wee and I've got nothing - I've put white pants on too so I can see exactly what happens. Issue is I do often tend to have spotting before my period but never this early.. this would be 11 days before my period!

The thing that's making me hold on (and not cry and hate my body even more than I do ☹️) is that these cramps have felt odd - really sharp stab types which I don't recognise. I also read a few posts down about extreme hunger - I've had that feeling on and off today too - like I've never even eaten before! So strange..

Reading my posts back I do feel like i'm clutching at straws but I feel like we did so much this month to ttc ☹️

I've just had a bit of pink now after the brown! Still cramping but it's surely far too early for a period.... (would be 11 days early)!

@judelaw mine was quite dischargey as well! I had it with cramps too so it does sound promising xx

I've had a bit more blood tonight when I've wiped - this was more red though :( I don't know what's going off with my body at this stage but 11 days before my period doesn't seem right at all :( feeling really down

Cramping, foggy brain and no cm xx

I hope this turns out for you, OP. My slight bleeding was brown but came later on. But my cramping wasn't sharp at all, more dull.

Feeling very sensitive and weepy was first, followed by raging fatigue, loss of appetite and nausea/vomiting.

extra hunger and insomnia were my first 2. but they didn't start until I had already got positive first response tests.

Still slight brown spotting today - not much but it's mainly like stringy brown mucus?
Not feeling hopeful :(

Craving sweets! I just knew when I was crashing strawberry laces that I wasn't coming on that month 😁

Sorry OP. The truth is that none of us can know. It's such a stressful time. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

I think most women can't stop eating ;-) I would eat a whole box of cookies in one go ;-)
for breasts try a compress from cabbage leaves or a cabbage breast cream, it always worked for me

Nothing as early as you were but horrific period pain 4 days before period was due. I had to take naproxen and cocodamol as the cramps were horrid then the day before period due faint positive and a constant nipple erection 😂
That’s it until the severe hyperemesis kicked in a week later.

@judelaw what was your outcome sweetie? I'm having all the same symptoms this month. And I'm apparently really late now. Not sure when I'm due on tbh but would've defo been now (irregular cycles) finished a really light on and off bleed tuesday and hesitant to test again as I dont want to be disappointed. It started off light pink stringy discharge. Then nothing the whole day and then bright red the day after once or twice, back to pink for an hour or two the next day. Then brown stringy CM Tuesday. Now I'm having dull aches again! I never have that after a period

I'm so scared to test. May just forget about it and hope for a bump to grow 🤣
