@Dreamingof3 om 24+2 and feeling more movement, my 4 year old was watching my belly move this morning and thought it was hilarious 😆

I think we may have decided on a name 😬

havanamama · 27/11/2022 16:13

Had my private scan and got the video recording 🥰 I’ll keep it for the baby as her first “home video” 💕

LittleAcorn20 · 27/11/2022 16:18

@hol92 i eat it cooked and to be fair occasionally uncooked (I know that isn't recommended, I just really like it and fancy it especially at this time of year when there's cheeseboards!)

TeddyBeans · 27/11/2022 17:15

I'm officially third trimester today 😱

@SenecaFalls1848
know exactly what you mean it’s like oh well soup it is 🙈 haha, I haven’t missed booze at all but now Christmas is creeping up I can feel myself getting jealous of all the lovely baileys etc!

@LittleAcorn20 I did have the Brie it was bloody lovely!!! Xx

LittleAcorn20 · 27/11/2022 18:39

Exciting @TeddyBeans 27 or 28 weeks? I get confused!

@hol92 glad you had the brie! I'll be having the occasional drop of wine/Bailey's over the Christmas period. Rightly or wrongly. Did with my first baby too, just very much in moderation and with plenty of food to soak it up. Realise this is not always a popular stance and I'm not for a second telling anyone to do it!

Me and DH are going to Dublin this week for a few nights on a bit of a babymoon and I won't be leaving without having had a half a Guinness 😊

Anyone else got a babymoon planned? We didn't do it with DD but had some aer Lingus flight vouchers from during lockdown to use up and thought it'd be nice to be just the two of us for once in a while, my parents are coming to stop with the toddler 😊

TeddyBeans · 27/11/2022 19:24

@LittleAcorn20 27 weeks. All my apps are telling me that's the beginning of the third trimester. I don't blame you for the tipple around Christmas. I'll have a sip here and there but I wasn't a massive drinker before I got pregnant anyway so I don't feel like I'm missing much

@hol92 I'm going to zizzis with a friend in a couple of weeks specifically to eat their fondue which is full of cheeses that are questionable in pregnancy 😁 glad you enjoyed your brie!

Just bought some baby clothes off pat Pat, never used them before but my sister bought her little boy lots off there, excited for it to come

Room4onemore · 27/11/2022 19:59

Didn’t buy much cause I want to see what it’s like

TeddyBeans · 27/11/2022 20:10

@Room4onemore ooh let us know! I like the idea of their matching outfits for our family photoshoot once DD is here but always been worried about the cut/quality

OP posts:
Room4onemore · 27/11/2022 20:27

@TeddyBeans will do, I’ve spent some money on blade and rose clothes today as well 😬

TeddyBeans · 27/11/2022 20:29

Ladies I was sick earlier after a coughing episode (still don't know if I'm underreacting based on the preeclampsia risk) and when I went to the loo just now there was a small amount of blood in my pants and literally a drop of fresh blood when I wiped. Baby's very wriggly as usual, I'm wondering if I managed to injure myself while wretching - I managed to have a nosebleed from it so it wouldn't surprise me. Just fishing for opinions on what you'd do in my situation

OP posts:
TeddyBeans · 27/11/2022 20:29

@Room4onemore oh I know they're good, my friend's kids live in them 🤣

OP posts:
Room4onemore · 27/11/2022 20:33

@TeddyBeans i would maybe ring triage or wherever and ask there opinion

TeddyBeans · 27/11/2022 20:44

@Room4onemore I know I should but it seems so minor and I called them on Friday about my blood pressure so feel like a bit of a nuisance as well 🙈

OP posts:
Room4onemore · 27/11/2022 20:51

Call as many times as you need, they have always told me that I should ring everyday if I need to and never leave it x

LittleAcorn20 · 27/11/2022 21:55

@TeddyBeans sounds like you're staying quite calm and rational about it which is good. Like you say it could be minor. BUT my opinion is hassle triage as much as you need. Your baby and you are very important. Rather call and be reassured.

@Room4onemore I can't get enough of the blade and rose leggings for my daughter. I've had loads of them and she lives in them this time of year. Just think they're so nice and warm compared to other leggings for when she is outside at nursery. I've bought the baby the sheep ones in the smallest size and put those away 😊 heads up if you've never had them before they shrink like hell if you don't treat them like delicates in the wash. I never put them on more than a wool wash at 30 degrees. Sorry if telling you what you already know, we just managed to outgrow the first few pairs of ours very quickly because I made the mistake of gradually shrinking them in the washing.
I always wish they did adult sizes, they look so comfy and cosy!!

Room4onemore · 27/11/2022 22:18

@LittleAcorn20 thanks for the heads up, never had them before

LittleAcorn20 · 27/11/2022 22:18

Joules have similar knitted leggings to blade and rose (though I've never bought any personally)
And in Joules black Friday, a pack of 2 knitted leggings is £4.95 reduced from £16.95 which I thought was an absolute bargain.
DD doesn't need any more though and this baby is a surprise gender, and I find joules clothes quite gender-stereotyping in their designs so couldn't invest yet! Saved my money this time 💰 but heads up especially if you know what you're having

Room4onemore · 28/11/2022 08:47

got up this morning with a cold sore coming, does anybody have any idea the best thing to use for it while pregnant?

TeddyBeans · 28/11/2022 09:06

@Room4onemore acyclovir cream, I saw some the other day - possibly in boots. They gave me acyclovir last time for coldsores that presented downstairs so it's definitely safe to use in pregnancy.

Speaking of downstairs, on closer inspection I've found a little graze that's causing the pink when I wipe so nothing to worry about 👌

Room4onemore · 28/11/2022 09:30

@TeddyBeans glad you can see your downstairs 😂😂

m thanks I’ll pop to boots

ChristmasJumpers · 28/11/2022 09:33

Whooping cough and flu jabs today, I never usually get a flu jab and have been fortunate to never have flu!

Has anyone had them and not had a terrible dead arm afterwards?

Room4onemore · 28/11/2022 09:34

Just reminded me I need to book my whopping cough jab

havanamama · 28/11/2022 09:36

I had no issues after the flu jab.

I’ve got glucose tolerance test this week. How many blood tests can I expect in that 3h period? Can I drink water during it?
