@Janch13 and @Mummybearto3bg I feel the same, and I’m 34 weeks. Until a week ago I felt great, but now I just feel rubbish, not helped by a fall on Saturday - baby is fine but I’m battered and bruised, so turning in bed is more like a 5-point turn.

Right now I can’t face another 6 weeks like this, but I’m feeling tired today, and hoping I will feel more sprightly tomorrow.

Sending lots of yea and sympathy to everyone else who is fed up!

raffika · 27/03/2023 15:35

That should say tea and sympathy 🙈

RugbyGirl1 · 27/03/2023 16:00

@CatMad22 yeah you're covered - vests and bodysuits with short sleeves are one and the same 😁

Sorry to hear some of you aren't feeling it much at the moment. Take it easy if you can 😊 Just think though, there is not that long to go now really!! I wonder when we'll see the first babies, after @Myotherusernameisaferrari twins of course! Hope you're all doing well.

buuuka86 · 27/03/2023 18:27

Same here. A couple of days ago I made the mistake of putting my trousers on before socks. I was then on my bed on my back like a turtle, with my husband putting socks on me 😂

I feel heave and I can't be bothered to work anymore but don't really have a choice.

I was really suffering with pain hip but got a small orthopedic knee memory foam pillow that I'm now putting in between my thighs and it's made a massive difference (the pregnancy pillow wasn't working for me).

@Janch13 if you hurtbburn is really but, get your midwife to prescribe you Omwprazole - it's worked like a charm for me.

i83 · 27/03/2023 18:32

Oh crickey guys, I think I’ve just lost my mucus plug!!! 😳😳😳

I’m 35 weeks today, what should I do?

My baby is breached still and I was going to be having a scan next week to decide what the plan is (most likely a planned c section at 39 weeks, if the baby hadn’t turned by then).

I wasn’t expecting this!!! (Although early babies run in our family!)

ru53 · 27/03/2023 19:19

@i83 can you contact your midwife? I think it’s an early sign isn’t it ie you might have a few days to go. Are you sure it was definitely that and not just discharge? I only say that because a friend was telling me recently with her first baby she thought her waters had broken but it was just discharge as you get so much extra in pregnancy.

i83 · 27/03/2023 20:13

@ru53 yep, it was definitely my mucus plug because it was so thick.

I googled and it does normally mean that you’re going to go into labour soon.

Just called triage for some advice, as I haven’t really got a number for the midwife (we see a different one, every time we go because we’re slightly out of area for the hospital that we’ve chosen to give birth at).

They said if I’ve got any tightenings or period type feelings, I’ve got to go in straight away.
If baby was head down, they said I’d just stay at home but as our baby is breached (and I’ve got gestational diabetes), we’d have to go straight in for them to do a c section!!

It’s so hard to know what’s going on, what’s normal or what’s going to happen isn’t it?…. especially when it’s the first time we’ve been pregnant!

ru53 · 27/03/2023 20:50

@i83 glad you got to speak to someone, at least there is a plan in place although not your plan A. Wishing you all the best, keep us updated!

Jaymar · 27/03/2023 20:57

@i83 Ooh that’s exciting! How are you feeling about baby potentially making its grand arrival a little early?

i83 · 27/03/2023 21:20

Thank you @ru53 and @Jaymar !

I feel ok and excited but a bit nervous and not really ready!!
We got married on Saturday (50 people at a lovely registry office ceremony and then a reception at home) so we have been quite focused on that, as we thought we had at least a couple more weeks to go!

ru53 · 27/03/2023 21:36

@i83 wow congratulations!! What a whirlwind! I hope you can get some rest in the next few days

Jaymar · 27/03/2023 21:37

Oh wow, congratulations!! It sounds like you had a really special day. I don’t think you ever feel fully ready but if you’ve got a hospital bag, car seat and somewhere for baby to sleep at home then you are good to go. Keep us updated ❤

buuuka86 · 27/03/2023 21:58

Wow congratulations! And good luck with the c section!

RugbyGirl1 · 27/03/2023 22:45

@i83 wow married at the weekend and now baby potentially on their way, what an exciting couple of days for you!! Hope you manage to get some rest in 😊

Bananabreakfast123 · 27/03/2023 22:45

Wishing you lots of luck @i83 and congrats on the wedding.

I was 35 weeks on Sunday and a few people in the last week have said their baby arrived at 35 weeks so it's made me a bit nervous. Can't believe it's nearly time for baby to arrive. I've been having cramps on and off for the past 24 hours, back pain this evening but husband and mum both downplaying it saying baby just getting bigger and settling in to position. Hope they're right. I've three weeks left at work before two weeks of annual leave. Hoping I make it there at least. Absolutely shattered and would like some rest time first.

Had a midwife appt last week. Baby had been measuring about 50th centile since 28 weeks but apparently he's jumped to above 90th in just two weeks. All of a sudden stressed about a massive baby and what size he might grow to! If he's still growing at my 36 week appt I'll be sent for another growth scan to review.

CatMad22 · 28/03/2023 10:07

@RugbyGirl1 Thank you, at least I’ve got the best situation under control 🤣

@i83 That’s so exciting but I understand why you’re nervous! Wishing you the best for whatever happens next

Awkwardusername · 28/03/2023 18:57

Definitely getting more and more uncomfortable - I can’t sit still for more than about five minutes without feeling like my ribs are about to crack!

Has anyone else got numbness at the top of their bump? I mentioned it in passing to my midwife who didn’t seem concerned at all, but she didn’t suggest any reason for it either…

Jaymar · 28/03/2023 21:54

@Awkwardusername I haven’t experienced numbness. Have had a few weird and wonderful pregnancy symptoms but that’s a new one to me.

i83 · 29/03/2023 05:08

We have a baby boy!!!!!
5 weeks early.
4lb13!!!!
Born at 1.25am!!!!
He’s ok but his oxygen levels were dropping so he has had to go to the neonatal unit.
He’s gorgeous! We’re so in love!!!
