Morning ladies, looking for some reassurance as I’ve just noticed some really really light pink/potentially brown CM when I wiped. It looked like normal CM but definitely had a bit of colour in it. There wasn’t loads of it, but a bit more CM than I’ve seen before - nothing in underwear, just when I wiped.

I’m 11+1 today and had a scan at 10+6 and everything looked great, I was measuring 3 days ahead at 11+3. I have had a small bleed showing up on my last 8 week scan which they said might be absorbed or might come out, but I forgot to ask the sonographer this time around as we went to a different place. I’ve never had spotting up to this point.

Would you continue to monitor it throughout the day and if it starts being every time I wipe/the colour gets more obvious to then ring EPU?

Sorry to hear this! If you just had a scan 2 days ago chances are everything is fine, but personally I would contact my midwife to see what their advice is. How long until your 12 week scan?

HalWin2221 · 05/12/2022 13:32

@justbelieve I’m sure it is absolutely nothing to worry about, but to be on the safe side I would speak with either EPU or your GP - whatever you are advised to do in your area. At my booking appointed my midwife said they want to know about any type of bleeding.
it hasn’t got clots anything so I’m sure it is nothing to worry about and your little one is ok! 🥰🥰

BobbySD345 · 05/12/2022 15:08

@justbelieve it is probably nothing but the midwife told me any concerns no matter how small to ring EPAU as that is what they are there for. They don't want you becoming anxious or worried and will see you to reassure x

Zaalfruit · 05/12/2022 15:37

@justbelieve I am sure there is nothing to worry about however for peace of mind just call up your trust or EPU - to see what they say .

BobbySD345 · 05/12/2022 16:37

Does anyone else constantly get UTIs when pregnant? I've got my 2nd and I'm only 11 weeks. I remember having lots in my previous pregnancy too. Feel rotten!

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 05/12/2022 16:55

@justbelieve My scan at 9 weeks found 2 blood clots, one in each side of uterus. Sonographer said they'd fall out or be absorbed and I may bleed a bit. My 12 week scan and they'd gone with no bleeding. It is probably nothing to worry about, it's probably the blood coming out.

@BobbySD345 I'm also looking at a highchair that converts to a swing/bouncer or a chair. It's really nice. Think it's from Smyth's.

13 weeks now and still sick in the morning.
Had a lovely roast yesterday lunch time and was sick after that too.
Really hoping it passes by Christmas!

I'm 13 weeks and still feeling sick in the evenings. It's every night and getting a bit intense! First pregnancy and so was naive thinking it would be gone after 12 weeks... hope it goes soon, though sometimes (just sometimes!) I like that it reminds me I'm pregnant because otherwise I have no symptoms or bump!

DrinkingAllTheGin · 05/12/2022 18:18

@pippabg I know exactly what you mean. Reassuring that hormones are still bonkers!
I'm also still exhausted evenings.

BobbySD345 · 05/12/2022 19:53

I'm still suffering with nausea too! So different to my first pregnancy which is why I'm convinced it's a girl this time!

justbelieve · 05/12/2022 20:55

Thanks everyone, I haven’t had any more CM since this morning and had no cramps. So hoping it was nothing.
Will just keep checking when I wipe over the next few days

Haha I am the same but opposite, first was a girl, had very mild nausea and fatigue. Second has been a nightmare I'm now just over 12 weeks and been so nausea and sick iv got a prescription from the drs and eating less than my toddler ! So I thought this one must be a boy .....

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 05/12/2022 22:14

13 weeks and also suffering with nausea still too. No appetite and keep getting dehydrated. I thought it had gone but it's come back this week. I have a cough still from a cold last week and every time I cough I start gagging. I feel shit right now. I hope this passes soon. I've not had a dinner or evening meal in weeks. Different from my first DD so expecting boy this time.

tigerlily0 · 06/12/2022 07:39

For some reason my sickness got worse in week 13, I'm 15 weeks in a couple of days and it's defo got better. I also had congestion and a head cold last week which made me more nauseous and exhausted. I think it's also a bit of pregnancy rhinitis- which I didn't have the last 2 times. I'm still exhausted during the day, there's one point in the day where I literally need a nap.

My last 2 pregnancies my sickness was around til 16 weeks and 18 weeks.
SPD is killing me right now right in my pubic bone can barely change my clothes or even walk some days

BobbySD345 · 06/12/2022 09:35

@BellaTheDarkOverlord same here with the evening meals. Just can't stomach them. Managed a ready meal here and there and I did have half a tin of soup last night but I've been trying to eat something decent for lunch when I feel less sick.

BobbySD345 · 06/12/2022 09:36

I don't do myself any favours. Such a dizzy cow. I took both my anti biotics in one go this morning so now my stomach is in knots. Anti boitics always upset my stomach so taking two at once is an absolute disaster. In the office today too. Cross your fingers for me ladies that I'm not dashing to the loo every 2 mins.

Dewintergarden · 06/12/2022 10:16

Hello has anyone else passed 12 weeks and most symptoms disappeared. My scan is on Thursday 12w4days and I'm so anxious and worried that something has gone wrong I can't sleep.

WarriorsComeOutToPlayaaay · 06/12/2022 11:53

@Dewintergarden please don’t worry, symptoms like sickness have likely eased off simply because you are at 12 weeks. I have been lucky enough not to have any sickness and if it weren’t for lack of periods (and the fact I have got massive) I wouldn’t have a clue I was pregnant.

ImHopeful2023 · 06/12/2022 12:03

Hi @Dewintergarden I was same as you lost symptoms but my 12 weeks scan showed baby moving and all was ok. As I have had two misscarriages this year I am in the high risk unit so they scanned me again today and I basically don't even feel pregnant but there was baby with good heartbeat and moving around like crazy so it's not always a bad sign when symptoms go x

Zaalfruit · 06/12/2022 12:45

Oh I can’t wait till the sick feeling is over for me . This time around it feels way worse .
@ImHopeful2023 I am so happy you are being looked after by your trust .

@Dewintergarden it’s very normal for feeling to start to disappear as you hit the second trimester. However I know until you see the scan you won’t feel at peace . Just two more days till you can see on the screen.

( Anyone else been offered - extra growth scans from 28 weeks ? )

Hlc86 · 06/12/2022 13:51

Finally had my scan today! All went well and baby is as it should be, it was so naughty though wouldn't keep still haha was lovely seeing.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 06/12/2022 14:20

@Hlc86 Lovely!

@Zaalfruit Midwife said I might be offered growth scans but I need to wait for my consultant app on 23rd to see what she says. I'll know more then.

Ally1992 · 06/12/2022 14:36

@Zaalfruit I will have extra growth scans because of my type 1 diabetes, there will be a 28, 32 and 36 week scan, maybe more in between if it starts to become a big baby! It's one of the only perks so far 😅

Dewintergarden · 06/12/2022 14:43

Thank you for your reassuring messages @Zaalfruit and @ImHopeful2023 I ended up moving my scan to today and baby was asleep at first then wouldn't stop moving after the sonographer started prodding. Heartbeat was 160 as well which they said was good! My heartburn came back as I was leaving the clinic as well.

tigerlily0 · 06/12/2022 16:09

Called the midwife to ask what I can do about my SPD as it's so bad right now and I'm struggling already. Said a physio referral will take 52 weeks. 52 weeks!!!!

Literally gobsmacked, iv decided to go private and see an osteopath as heard they can help. But what a sorry state the nhs is in, that is scary.
