@LauraA31 ooh I loved PLL but I thought the ending was so bad 😂

Lovely to hear your stories about newborn time and watching TV, definitely makes me excited to sit infront of the TV and cuddle all day 🥰

Skylark1990 · 12/10/2022 13:10

@Gilm0reGirl did you size up on the love leggings? Or usual size? Did you get the maternity ones? They do look good! I like the bergundy but not in my size 😕

@Chocolat im so invested but only on season 4 so got a long time to be disappointed yet 😂

MilkAndFenty · 12/10/2022 13:23

Urgh, I tested positive for Covid last night! I’ve avoided it for three years!!! Any remedies? I had a lemsip yesterday that really helped but have now googled and it says not great for pregnant women so that’s the end of that.

Hannah223344 · 12/10/2022 13:32

Does anyone do CrossFit?

I'd never heard of love leggings ... thanks @Gilm0reGirl they look really good 👍🏻

alwaysseeingstars · 12/10/2022 13:34

@MilkAndFenty I've just had Covid, unfortunately the only thing I was told I can take is paracetamol (and ideally as little as possible) - I did find that the Pukka chamomile and vanilla tea with a teaspoon of honey certainly felt like it helped for a little while if you like fruit teas!

MilkAndFenty · 12/10/2022 13:43

@alwaysseeingstars i do like fruit teas so I’ll give that a try, thank you! Desperate for anything that will help- I thought lemsip would be okay because it’s paracetamol but apparently it’s got decongestant in it 🙄

hot cups of tea have helped a bit, it’s miserable! How long did yours last?

Springblooms08 · 12/10/2022 13:48

@Skylark1990 I sized up but wish I hadn’t as they’re a bit big. I think best to go with your normal size. They are super stretchy!

Is anybody using any pregnancy apps? I did have the pregnancy+ one but I got rid of it because the measurements/size of baby was always so much bigger than what it really is at that stage so didn’t feel like it was very reliable!

Skylark1990 · 12/10/2022 14:00

Thanks @spring @Springblooms08 ! I have the app which has a green circle and two white feet. Is that pregnancy+? I've also had baby centre and what to expect in the past.

Sorry to hear you have covid @MilkAndFenty ! Hopefully you can rest up and it'll pass quickly. Lemon, honey and ginger tea is good too x

MamaMenna · 12/10/2022 14:11

@MilkAndFenty sorry to hear you have covid... I had it in March, I would say listen to your body and ensure you do rest, don't rush to get back to normal when you think you're better as it could set you back.

Appointment all fine, got to hear baby's heartbeat for first time on the doppler 😀

I had to order maternity leggings already, in physical pain by the afternoon in my normal, super stretchy ones. Currently wearing summer trousers which the elastic has gone in and hoping my order comes ASAP!!

Missgemini · 12/10/2022 14:11

Thanks ladies!

@Cuppasoupmonster We actually did a DNA test a while back and it said boy. Good to know you thought the same :)

Gilm0reGirl · 12/10/2022 14:13

@Skylark1990 yes I went for the maternity ones but didn't size up, I think they are pretty true to size

alwaysseeingstars · 12/10/2022 14:41

@MilkAndFenty I'm still struggling with it now, the general flu feeling has mostly passed but the tiredness and my lungs are still really bad. I agree with @MamaMenna wholeheartedly, rest as much as you possibly can, I went back to work far too quickly and think that's not helped the fact I'm still struggling now after 2 weeks!

Skylark1990 · 12/10/2022 15:01

Thank you @Gilm0reGirl ! I really want to get the oatmeal ASOS dress and some love leggings but I've spent a bit already recently so unsure. I'll probably cave and just get them!

@Missgemini gorgeous scan and exciting that you know it's a boy already!

Springblooms08 · 12/10/2022 15:20

I really recommend new look for knitted dresses too. I ordered a few and they are really nice. There’s also 25% off as a pop up on the website at the moment

Cuppasoupmonster · 12/10/2022 16:06

Just got my 20 week scan appointment through, 22nd November 😊 I’m quite nervous for that one, it seems like the ‘big scan’ doesn’t it? I’ve also had my NIPT brought forward to tomorrow as they had to rearrange because of staffing. So hoping I get the results and gender next week 🤞🏻

Has anyone been pondering names already? It took AGES for us to decide on DD’s, I think we started suggesting names after the 12 week scan but didn’t find DD’s until about 32 weeks 😆 DH doesn’t like any of my suggestions but doesn’t suggest anything himself, so I think we’re going to have the same issue this time!

Cuppasoupmonster · 12/10/2022 16:06

Oh and knitted dresses are great in pregnancy - so comfy, but they also really flatter the bump rather than waistbands squashing it down. I have a few anyway that will probably keep up for a while at least!

ancienthouse · 12/10/2022 17:07

@Cuppasoupmonster I'm already nervous for my 20 week scan too. The likelihood is it will all be fine though. Do you get a scan with your NIPT tomorrow?

I am struggling with names! We have a girls name sorted but finding boy names hard. It's the main reason I want to find out the sex because if it's a boy I really need time to come up with a name! If it's a girl then I don't need to think about it.

AliceinSlumberland · 12/10/2022 17:19

I’m going to town this weekend to hopefully get some leggings and comfier pjs so I’m going to see if I can find any more knitted dresses.

We’ve got some ideas for names that we do agree on, when we find out the gender we might have more conversations about it haha.

Really struggling with tiredness today, don’t think the weather is helping! DH is making a cottage pie so looking forward a cosy evening catching up on bake off.

MamaMenna · 12/10/2022 18:27

We have a strong contender for boy name but no girl name as of yet. That's also one of my reasons to want to know sex of baby

cheekysausage · 12/10/2022 18:57

So completely impatient me has paid for one of these online nub theory things. I sent them this pic, 11+4. Can anyone even see a nub?! Because I can’t 🤣

Babies due April 2023 Thread 6
Cuppasoupmonster · 12/10/2022 19:01

@cheekysausage that’s a ‘legs up’ photo so it’s harder to see the nub but I think I can just about make them out!

cheekysausage · 12/10/2022 19:03

Are you still swaying toward girl @Cuppasoupmonster

Cuppasoupmonster · 12/10/2022 19:05

Yep still girly for my guess!

Ironically I’ve given up trying to figure out my own scan photos! I was so sure it was a boy from what seemed to be obvious boy parts, but I’ve seen a few other scans very similar to mine that were confirmed girls. So, who knows! I guess I’ll find out next week!
