@Emeal123 hi and thanks for your understanding... I'm feeling much better now.. Had a chat with my husband, we had a bit of a late lunch and were able to talk and so habe an update. I had considered trying out a fun way of letting him know but I decided against it because I kind of felt he'd initially be disappointed and I felt like more of an asshole dressing up the 'result' knowing he didn't actually want to know yet... Kind of like rubbing salt in the wounds... Idk if that makes any sense...
So, anyway I just told him that the office had called with the results of my test and the first thing he said was "they told you what it was, didn't they?" Except he wasn't mad or upset... He was just grinning and rolled his eyes laughing. So he told me "out with it"... and I told him... Done and dusted... It wasn't bad at all and we had a really good laugh. We've decided not to tell anyone in real life (friends and our other children) until delivery but he of COURSE told me to ahead and tell you ladies if you wanted to know since the cat's out of the bag already, or the toothpaste, or whatever is out of whatever... And y'all would probably be dying to know anyway...
I've calmed down and so I'm okay...
Anyway ill tell y'all if you want to know, I just don't want to crash this thread anymore than I already have plus I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, so am happy to wait til everyone else has their results/scans...

Loving these predictions! What is your take on mine, @ancienthouse and @Cuppasoupmonster?

I think boy!
It'll be fun to see how many of these turn out to be right!

Cuppasoupmonster · 06/10/2022 19:14

I would love to know @Releasethehoundss !! And celebrate your little boy/girl’s healthy scan on this thread ✨

Emeal123 · 06/10/2022 19:15

@Releasethehoundss eeekkk exciting! Waiting in suspense xx

Will be funny at the end to see how many of each in the group and whether predictions have been right! X

ancienthouse · 06/10/2022 19:16

@Releasethehoundss

It's nice that your husband took it so well.
We're planning to hide the baby's sex from other people too. I don't want them to make assumptions about it. But I think it'll be hard not slipping up saying he/she.

Skylark1990 · 06/10/2022 19:16

Congratulations everyone on your scans!! @SavedByGraceAlone so glad the bleeding was nothing to worry about and @Margo34 welcome back 😂 glad your scan went well! Aww lovely times for everyone ❤️💙💕

@Releasethehoundss please do tell us!! You're not crashing the thread at all! Don't be silly. You're as welcome here to vent as the rest of us 😘 I'm sorry that happened to you but glad you're feeling better and DH reacted well.

@Chocolat I was given my 20 week scan at the appointment today so it's on 21 Nov, only 6 weeks away on Monday! Kinda nice having a later 12 week scan as it means the 20 week one comes sooner.

Okay ladies, I'm sorry I don't have a nub scan to upload (passenger would NOT make an appearance at ALL for a vaginal scan 🙄) but y'all already know that... So just before I tell you you I'll say that we have 4 sons already... All of our friends (me included) think it's a boy, given my husband's track record, but my husband is CONVINCED it is a girl (was, before today) I have no idea why he'd think that considering all the little men walking around my house lol...
Anyway, he was actually the one who told me I was pregnant before I knew 🤷...
Welp, husbands have been known to be right on one occasion...
Or two...
It's a GIRL!!!!
Baby Viveca...

Cuppasoupmonster · 06/10/2022 19:22

How lovely @Releasethehoundss congratulations on your daughter!!!

Thats 1 confirmed boy and 1 confirmed girl now 🎉 unless I’ve missed anybody?

Oh wait there’s another girl!!! @limoncelloo i think?? Sorry if I got that wrong!

Pommy1 · 06/10/2022 19:25

@Releasethehoundss Ahhhhhhh what a little winner! That’s amazing. Congratulations!!!! Xxxxxx

Releasethehoundss · 06/10/2022 19:34

You ladies are so kind, thank you to all of you and congrats to you all! The gender doesn't matter at all really because the baby was going to be what it was going to be, whether we knew it or not. I am just so glad it's healthy... Most of it fingers and toes is all I ask for really... I have little twinges of guilt still and I think sadness? Because my husband wanted a surprise so BADLY in the operating room and I feel like that's been taken from him but I can't really dwell on that can I, considering he didn't know until I told him... He still could have had his surprise, but I couldn't keep it from him. I guess I just feel like had I NOT known then he would have had a great surprise on D day...
I know the feeling will fade, however. Plus, I can't WAIT to tell all our friends and what little family we have when they learn the gender... My sons wanted a sister so badly, and I don't even know why... My second son said it's cus He's sick of all his brothers 😂. The only thing replacing the sadness I feel when I think about how my husband won't have his surprise, is the utter JOY our boys will feel at finally getting their baby sister... I know my second son will cry he will be so happy... Anyway I'm crying but I think it's the hormones...

Releasethehoundss · 06/10/2022 19:35

I'm going to find a pickle... I'll check back...

Missgemini · 06/10/2022 19:39

Just been catching up on the thread. So lovely seeing all the scans and the guesses :)
My scan is next Wednesday (feels like one of the last scans in the group!). I’m feeling calm about it for now. We’ll wait and see next week.

1stimer16 · 06/10/2022 19:50

@Missgemini mine isn’t until Thursday next week 😩😩 had my screening blood test today

MilkAndFenty · 06/10/2022 19:56

Hi all, just caught up on the new thread- love everyone’s scan pics!

is anyone else feeling not verypregnant? It’s really worrying me at the moment. It’s my third pregnancy but after a big gap, and I can’t remember how I felt at this point last time. I’m coming up to 15 weeks and still haven’t felt any movement or anything. I don’t feel sick anymore either. Should I be worried or am I just being ott?

Releasethehoundss · 06/10/2022 20:05

@MilkAndFenty these symptoms this pregnancy are nothing like with my other pregnancies...
I had terrible bloating from several days before period was due... Boobs were torture for anyone to touch or bump or anything... No nausea at all, no sickness except a tiny bit of vertigo with my eldest who is almost 13...
This pregnancy I have so much nausea and my boobs were hurting but over the last week they've stopped?... Other than the nausea I don't feel pregnant at all this time.. All of my other pregnancies I was constantly reminded I was pregnant by every single symptom lol. Not this one though 🤷

Releasethehoundss · 06/10/2022 20:07

@MilkAndFenty every pregnancy is different and as long as you aren't having bleeding and cramps I think you might be in the second trimester where symptoms die down.. From everything I read and from what I am told now, no symptoms are perfectly okay, as long as there isn't any bleeding/clots and pain ❤

Releasethehoundss · 06/10/2022 20:07

Sorry I had pressed send too early... 😒

Releasethehoundss · 06/10/2022 20:11

Oh @Pommy1 I'm just reading over more thoroughly the thread.. Congratulations!!! I am so excited for you... I'm a bit older with this pregnancy so wanted to give you a hug... Hoping your results are good!

bluebubbles12 · 06/10/2022 20:34

@Releasethehoundss congratulations on your baby girl!!! 🎀 so pleased your husband took the news well.

Pommy1 · 06/10/2022 20:56

@Releasethehoundss aww thank you! We are very excited. We just need to tell the dog. He’s 14 and not sure he will be pleased haha

I wanted to say - please don’t feel bad for an extended period about hubby. Your wants are valid too and you really wanted to know. I think sometimes it helps with feeling connected to the baby being able to envisage what she is now you know the sex. Plus… boys are like puppies, put a nice meal out and he’ll have forgotten all about it haha

MilkAndFenty · 06/10/2022 21:35

@Releasethehoundss thank you for your kind reply, this has really helped to call me down and put my mind at rest. It’s just been such a long time since I was pregnant and this was very unexpected, so I think I’m overthinking it all!

congratulations on your gender news!
so happy for you both, and glad your husband is excited with you :)

I have had two surprises and I would also be livid that they messed that up- I would definitely make sure your complaint continues!

Missgemini · 06/10/2022 22:26

@1stimer16 It feels like such a long way away. But we’re very close :)
I’m having my screening bloods on the same day too. Busy morning that day.
