@Lisa221987 I honestly don't know anything about this stuff, I always just found out the gender at about 13 weeks... I didn't even know there was a science to guesstimating gender based on skull and all that but I can't wait to see what other people guess for you!
P.S. is that your baby's arm bone?...

@Cuppasoupmonster I am actually thrilled there are no high risk factors identified because we had several miscarriages and we are getting older and on and on and on... I'd much rather have this outcome than the reverse, in that respect.

@Cuppasoupmonster how do you do that??? Inquiring minds would like to know.. I wish my baby would have showed up on a transvaginal scan (NEVER HAS!) that way i could have pitched it to you before today 😩😩 do you think if I upload and can from one of my other children you could tell me??? But don't say yes if you already know what I have 😂

@Cuppasoupmonster im absolutely loving your predictions! I hope I get a clear nub photo at my scan on Monday. My first scan where I was too early to do the screening (11+2), I have no idea if there even is a nub in it as I don’t know what I’m looking for 😂

@PiggyBean thanks for understanding. It was human error and I know this so I just keep telling myself that... Most important things is baby is healthy so I'm trying to decide how to tell my husband.

I’m a newbie to posting, but I’ve been following this thread. I’m due the 9th April with my first and have had my 12 week scan this week, all looked good. Like others, please would someone take a guess at my scan pictures? Thanks.

@Skylark1990 oh my, I thought the last thread had gone a bit quiet, totally missed the start of thread 6!

Had my scan today and all well, phew! Love reassuring to see a wriggly little bean with it's legs crossed and waving arms 🥰 Although they asked when taking my blood afterwards what antibiotics I took for my UTI as noted at my booking appt 4 weeks ago (what UTI?!) and asked when my consultant appt is (erm....I don't have one?) Apparently the community MWs forgot to tell me my results from the booking appt (and on the app they aren't visible either) so I should have been on antibiotics and also should be consultant-led following previous losses and as I've been on progresterone. Communication is lacking in my area, clearly!

@Margo34 glad your scan went well! That's really poor lack of communication there from your team! Hopefully they step it up a bit from now on. Hope the UTI is gone soon.

My scan went well thanks, our antinatal clinic was far too busy. An appointment that should've took around 45 minutes took nearly 3 hours. 😑

CONGRATULATIONS everyone! This is such a lovely vibe! All you beautiful ladies with gorgeous babies. It’s honestly a joy to see them all. Thank you for sharing.

Im hoping for NIPT test results tomorrow or Monday. I’m an older mum so I’ll be pleased to get them, gotta say. This is my first pregnancy so a very new journey for me.

@SavedByGraceAlone congratulations what lovely news and beautiful picture, scan couldn’t have come at a better time for that reassurance!

@Chocolat they booked my 20 week scan date at the hospital following my 12 week scan, so 20 week one is 1st December. I was expecting it through a letter but made sense that they did it that way. I’ve not got my next midwife appointment date through yet though which she said would be around week 16.

@Releasethehoundss i have only just caught up on the messages this afternoon. Absolutely understand your reaction, I would be exactly the same and would follow it up so that the same thing doesn’t happen to someone else. Even if you had checked the box saying you wanted to know they should double check prior to saying it and make sure both parents can hear the information… however there are lots of positives to focus on such as the healthy little blessing growing inside you and so many surprises still to come, I’m sure you and your OH will soon become excited about being able to refer to bump as ‘he’ or ‘she’ xxx
