@Wouldloveanother ooh interesting, thanks!

It was a rather interesting experience as my bladder was too full so I was asked to empty half, didn’t think it was possible to control how much I empty 😂😂

AliceinSlumberland · 23/09/2022 15:45

Congrats on your scans @Waffles27 and @Chocolat , lovely news and love your pic! I know nothing about nubs so I can’t contribute haha.

Last day of work today before a week off, THANK GOD!

AliceinSlumberland · 23/09/2022 15:45

Also said I’d meet some friends tonight, when am I going to accept that I never want to do any evening socialising other than getting on my sofa in my pjs 😂

Emeal123 · 23/09/2022 16:17

@DBS94 last year I had hpv and abnormal cells so had a colposcopy and then this year I had my smear test in June and the results were hpv and abnormal cells again so am booked in for a colposcopy in October but don’t feel overly comfortable having any cervical treatment while pregnant… hoping this is what I can discuss with the consultant. Sounds like we are having similar pregnancy journeys! X

DBS94 · 23/09/2022 16:35

@Emeal123 did you speak with your midwife about it? Mine was really helpful and although I was a bit anxious at first seeing the consultant letter through but I'm glad that they are keeping an eye on things!

I've just started spotting again 🙄 trying to be positive but it's always such a horrible feeling x

Emeal123 · 23/09/2022 16:46

@DBS94 yeah I mentioned it at my booking in appointment and she said she would request an appointment with the consultant for me to discuss it.

spotting is such a horrible scary feeling but also seems to be happening to quite a few of us! Hope it’s all ok xx

LauraA31 · 23/09/2022 16:59

evening ladies,
so i went for the scan and measuring 9+2 which i thought i was, baby was there with a strong heartbeat!
whatever the bleed was the baby is absolutely fine and that’s all that matters, it’s crazy how much the little one has changed in the space of one week!!

cheekysausage · 23/09/2022 19:41

Had my EPU follow up at 9+6. All looking fine, babies measuring a day behind but was told all okay! Countdown is on for the 12 week!

SavedByGraceAlone · 23/09/2022 20:33

@cheekysausage, ahh that is so sweet! Awesome pic. Congratulations!

Pommy1 · 23/09/2022 21:01

Also joining from the precious thread. I’m 10 weeks tomorrow. Zero symptoms now other than the aspirin the doctor recommends had me feeling a bit travel sick. I’m less bloated and the fatigue I had in the afternoons for a couple of weeks seem to be going.
i have a private NIPT test and scan next week as I’m an older mum, and also gender test that comes with it which is exciting.
how are you all? Xx

Chocolat · 23/09/2022 22:06

@cheekysausage wow such a cute picture!

AliceinSlumberland · 24/09/2022 08:30

@cheekysausage what an amazing picture!!

@LauraA31 I’m so so pleased for you that everything is okay.

Ladies who were feeling very sick, is it easing off for any of you at all?

LauraA31 · 24/09/2022 09:22

@cheekysausage that photo is amazing! 😅

Thank you all 🙂
bleeding has stopped now thankfully! Taking a couple of days from work to just relax and do nothing!

DBS94 · 24/09/2022 10:00

@LauraA31 glad the bleeding has stopped! Feet up and get into some good TV x

Anyones boobs absolute agony atm? Keep turning over during the night and waking up - sooo heavy and achy feeling!!

Skylark1990 · 24/09/2022 10:05

Morning all. Slept so badly last night and then DH hadn't turned off his alarm so we both woke up at 6 😩 been trying to nap this morning but it feels.impossible to get to sleep.

@SavedByGraceAlone the sickness does seem to be slightly better! I am still spewing at least once in the evening, but during the day it isn't quite as bad although still have an underlying queesy feeling and strong food aversions.

@DBS94 my boobs are also more sore at night! What is up with that? 😂

Lovely scan pics everyone. @cheekysausage that photo is incredible! Are they sharing a gestational sac? X

cheekysausage · 24/09/2022 10:10

@Skylark1990 they each have their own amniotic sac, so thank goodness a lesser chance of tangling umbilical cords etc. According to the EPU doc, when she scanned my ovaries, I only released one egg, which appears to have split and so she’s 90% sure they’ll be identical 🥰🥰 All very high tech stuff 🤣

ancienthouse · 24/09/2022 10:46

@AliceinSlumberland
my sickness is still much the same. I'm 11 weeks today and hoping it starts to ease off soon. I'm bored of spending all day lying down but if I get up I start spewing.

Chocolat · 24/09/2022 11:27

Morning hope everyone’s well :)

Are anyone else’s food aversions getting worse, I don’t like chicken anymore or my favourite takeaway which I’ve loved for years 😢😅

Springblooms08 · 24/09/2022 11:31

I’ve had a migraine for two days now and all I can do is lie in bed - it’s so awful. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice at all? I think it came on after I had to work an evening event on Thursday after a full day of work. Feeling so down about it
