Thanks so much all for your words of support - does sound many of us are in a similar boat and it helps to have people to chat to about it all <3 I think we just need to remember it's survival mode and that's it for now... just get through these tough weeks, and it'll all pass. But it's so hard when the days drag and spirits are low.
@DBS94 I am 11+3 based on my scan at 8 weeks, so just a couple days ahead of you! I have definitely also found that once I hit 11 weeks it's been slightly less bad in the mornings, which I am grateful for, but the evenings and afternoons are still really hard. I was sick till 16 weeks with my daughter - hoping it doesn't last that long this time!
@AliceinSlumberland sorry to hear you have been unwell! Hope you're feeling better now?
@Gilm0reGirl enjoy your holiday! How many weeks are you? I also have a little bump now, we are going to Spain and I'm going to have to take my maternity swimsuit 😅I'm already about the size I was when 16 weeks with DD. I can sort of suck it in and like you, just looks like I've put on a bit of weight, but I think it's definitely my uterus.
@Emeal123 we actually do have a cleaner who comes once a week and is a godsend - we are lucky that we can do this. When I went back to work after mat leave we decided it was worth it for us, not to have to do the bathrooms and hoovering etc on weekends. But she's been ill, so haven't had her for 2 weeks, and I think this is also making everything feel worse as mess etc also makes me feel sick haha.
@Wouldloveanother I've been having crazy dreams too. Often they're kind of sexy dreams ?! which is weird because I am not feeling that way inclined at all in my waking life, will all this nausea 😅
Big congrats on the positive scans everyone! I kinda wish I'd booked a private one for this week now, but I didn't get in in time and now they're all booked up... there might be some super expensive ones like £80 still left but I don't think I want to pay that much! Only 2 weeks till my NHS scan so just looking forward to that.
