@DBS94 mine were uploaded after about 2 days and my scan appointment and consultant letter were uploaded a week or so after

bluebubbles12 · 20/09/2022 09:29

@DBS94 we don't have Badger Net, but mine were done two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything. Kinda got the impression that if everything was OK I'd just get told at my next appointment.

Did I read that there are a couple of 12 week scans today? Good luck! Let us know how you get on!

My 12 week scan is tomorrow 🤞

Skylark1990 · 20/09/2022 09:31

@MamaMenna very happy for you that things are progressing! that is wonderful news :) Did you end up getting some progesterone? Have you stopped bleeding? Hope you can relax a little now and enjoy it all again. x

LauraA31 · 20/09/2022 10:10

Good morning ladies! Good luck for everybody with their scans!! I have my booking appointment this Thursday and so nervous about it, boyfriend can’t get the time off work so im off on my own! To be fair I told him to save his time for scans etc..

I am 9 weeks tomorrow and i have never felt as horrible, overnight i have gone from tired but functioning to absolutely exhausted, dizzy, warm and feeling sick without throwing up!
Im on my days off mid week and looked forward to getting loads done, but so far this morning ive fed the dog and put a wash load in and im back in bed, laying down makes me feel so much better 😂

Feel like im going to spend much of the next three days sleeping 🤦🏼‍♀️

MamaMenna · 20/09/2022 10:30

@Skylark1990 no she would engage when I tried to ask about progesterone, I don't if it was because my time was up or what. She did point out a dark area on the screen and say that was likely responsible for the bleeding and that if it carries on like it is then not to worry and it's stable. So unless it gets heavier I'm going to try to take the mindset that all is well. I feel reassured that baby has a heartbeat and has grown despite me spotting all week. How are you feeling today?

Longbin · 20/09/2022 10:33

@LauraA31 don't be nervous about the booking appointment, it's just like boring admin, nothing really happens! Loads of questions to answer like when was your last period etc, that's about it

PuddingBear · 20/09/2022 10:36

@LauraA31 The booking appointment is just a load of admin! No need for your boyfriend to be there at all, he’d just be a spare part 😅

They check your height, weight, take a blood sample and a urine sample, ask about your medical and family history, periods, they’ll explain about the screening tests and vaccinations, talk about any previous pregnancies and how you think you want this pregnancy to go. If it’s your first they’ll also explain how it works.

Really boring but necessary stuff 😅

Chocolat · 20/09/2022 10:36

Good luck with the scans everyone :)
12 weeks today and scan on Friday, so exciting!

LauraA31 · 20/09/2022 11:40

@Longbin @PuddingBear
I did think he would be pretty useless there haha, i think it will feel a bit more real once i have this appointment!

PuddingBear · 20/09/2022 11:44

@LauraA31 Yes, it does! He only really needs to be at the 12 and 20 week scans; everything else is just routine 😊

Wouldloveanother · 20/09/2022 11:50

They did ask DH a few questions at my booking appointment - mainly about his family medical history. Was the same at the last trust I was at.

Heath2330 · 20/09/2022 12:16

@Tubbytele oh right I've rang today and they have given me an appt to see them tomorrow I was aneamic and needed iron about 2 months after having my daughter 10 years ago but iron has always been fine since but I have had recurring folate deficiency and vitamin d deficiency in the last couple of years so already in high dose folic acid and vitamin D

Heath2330 · 20/09/2022 12:17

@Tubbytele I had been feeling ok other than really tired achy and a bit of nausea and heartburn however last 2 days very very nauseas and aversions to certain foods and coffee but other than that I feel pretty ok and tiredness seems to be alitttle better

Longbin · 20/09/2022 12:21

Has anyone else noticed half of their stomach sticking out and hard? I had it last night along with aching but it seems to have gone back to normal

Heath2330 · 20/09/2022 12:21

@LauraA31 I'd been the same turned 9 weeks yesterday and the nausea is horrible but no actual sickness couldn't even stomach my morning coffee this morning

mummatara · 20/09/2022 13:06

Hi lovelies well sadly I will be leaving this thread. I went for my scan at the EPU and it very much looks like a blighted ovum. I have to wait a week for a rescan and confirmation then make a choice on options if my body doesn't do it naturally. I wish you all the best in your pregnancies ❤️

PuddingBear · 20/09/2022 13:09

I’m so sorry @mummatara
