Thought I'd make a new thread seen as last one is full already! 😊

I'm 10 weeks today and feeling like it's a bit of a mile stone 🥰 got a private scan for next Sunday (11 and a half weeks) and can't wait to see how baby has grown since our last scan at 8 weeks.

Super nervous this morning, got our follow up scan at EPU- should be 7+3 so fingers crossed there is something to see!!
luckily we got a morning appointment so setting off very soon to get there on time!

@DBS94 10 weeks absolutely feels like a milestone! I’m 9 weeks today woohoo!

I’m so lucky in that sickness wise I’ve been totally fine, my biggest issue is tiredness particularly in the afternoons. I have to go to bed early but then it feels like I literally work, eat, sleep with nothing in between. A small price to pay though I guess!

I made the mistake at looking at Matalan baby clothes, oh my god!

@AliceinSlumberland I'm the same as you 8 weeks 4 days still no sickness I have had some nausea but nothing too bad but very tired especially after a work day

Omg matalan has gorgeous neutral stuff, so does Asda surprisingly!! I'm trying so hard not to look until our next scan. Feels so close yet so far! X

@AliceinSlumberland I'm similar, 10 weeks tomorrow and still no sickness! makes me wonder if there's anything going on in there but going by the bloating and tiredness there has to be something 😂

I'm 9 weeks today and I feel a little better thankfully. Heard bean again on the doppler this morning. 🥰

Has anyone got quite a gao between their last child and this pregnancy? My youngest is nearly 8 and my eldest is nearly 13. I don't know how I'm going to tell my eldest. I feel nervous! 🙈

@KennAdams I was 11 and 13 when my siblings arrived honestly it was very exciting and I loved it so don't be worried ❤️

Is anyone else freezing cold? Everything online suggests I should feel warm but I really don’t, I’m cold constantly!

@AliceinSlumberland I'm ALWAYS cd but was before pregnancy too. Low iron or something 😂 I take supplements but they don't seem to help....

@AliceinSlumberland I alternate between being too hot and too cold. It feels like I'm ill.

I am willing on the second trimester soooo much, so I can feel vaguely normal again!

I definitley feel like the temperatures dropped, inside and out 😅

@AliceinSlumberland yep I'm freezing and I engender being like this in my last pregnancy as well.

so much for being able to keep the heating low this winter! 😕

Hi ladies!

Scan this morning went well, measuring 8+1 so back to the original dates.
Saw baby and a heartbeat so we were really chuffed! When we zoomed in we could see the little buds of arms starting to grow!

One thing is i have a little pocket of blood next to where baby is in my uterus, it’s measuring 2cm and the midwife said i may bleed if this bursts or i might absorb it back into my body. She said she would only be concerned if it grew to 5cm.
I don’t have to go back because my dating scan is on 6th October, feeling a lot better but still a bit worried about this little pocket of blood!

Hopefully the bleed doesn't get bigger and you'll just reabsorb it.

Anyone sick of bland beige food now? I've just chucked some chips in the air fryer and feel like all I've eaten is those and roast potatoes for the past month 😂

@DBS94 I cover everything in hot sauce anyway 🤷 lol... All tastes the same to me...

@DBS94 yes, I am so so so so sick of everything I've been having to eat (junk food mainly, two min noodles, chips, potatoes, pizza, toast).

Had a cry at DH today as I just don't feel I'm coping very well right now with the nausea, sickness and hormones. Had a dream last night the baby had died which really threw me 😥I know only a dream but has made me question whether to get another scan before the 12 week one (which is actually when I'm 13 and a half weeks so feels like ages away! only 3 weeks though really). I just feel a mess.

@Skylark1990 I'm giving you a big ole hug from across the pond! I took have terrible dreams.. Is there any meds you can take for the sickness if its that bad. I found I actually enjoy juice bars. Tangy and fruity. I also like chocolate rice cakes, baked potatoes, plant based meat. It doesn't make me gag like the smell of actual meat does. Making a spaghetti with plants based meat for dinner tonight, actually. I hope you get some relief soon!
