Thank you so much @MapleSyrup2112 and @Sunshine0987
I’m feeling more positive this time.
@MapleSyrup2112 yes, I had some bleeding this time at about 5+4 so I called my midwife. She said to either call my GP or go to A&E to be referred to EPU. I called my GP who made me go to the surgery for a face to face appointment which wasn’t really necessary as all she said was that she would call EPU and see what they said. I went home and GP called me back and said EPU would see me the next day for a scan.
At the scan, they could just about see a part of a yolk so they agreed to try the progesterone.
I’m 6+3 today which is the furthest I’ve got so perhaps the progesterone is making the difference.
Honestly though, so many people I have spoken to have told me that they had bleeding in the pregnancies. A lady I spoke to today has got 4 grown up children and she had bleeding with every one of them. She said the one, it was like having periods.
I must have spoke to around 30 woman who have children and only one said she didn’t have bleeding with either of her pregnancies and one lady said she just had bleeding with one of her two pregnancies. All of the others had some kind of bleeding, at some point.
I know it’s so scary but try to do whatever you can to stay positive. If you’re positive, there’s a chance it will help. If you’re positive, there’s not a chance it will cause harm or for something bad to happen.
It’s easier said than done though I know.
