@Melusina123 I’m a fairly keen runner so just have noticed on my Garmin in the last week that the RHR is up from previous weeks. All my workouts have been in higher HR even when I’m trying for easy effort but think that’s to be expected

BellaBella38 · 04/09/2022 11:14

Oh my days morning nausea is kicking my arse today! It's like the worst hangover. I'm ravenous and nauseas at the same time, my mouth is so dry and I can only take a mouthful of water every few mins, and I'm so dizzy everytime I lift my head! Even pukka 3 ginger tea hasn't helped 🤢

Flowersflowers121 · 04/09/2022 11:16

@BellaBella38 exactly the same for me this morning :(((((

@Melusina123 9 times a day????? Good luck with that...I have a cat and fully appreciate how difficult that may be for you! 😂

TheBeesKnee · 04/09/2022 12:10

No mood swings here unless you count increased anxiety?

I am finding the nausea and heavy/tender boobs reassuring and I am doing a cheapy pg test every day to make sure that I am actually pregnant.

calipoppy · 04/09/2022 12:14

@BellaBella38 @Flowersflowers121 nausea has also kicked in for me today! I just said to my husband I'm enjoying the short lived time where I actually feel pleased to be feeling sick for the reassurance, speak to me in a week and I'm sure it'll be a very different story 😂

Melusina123 · 04/09/2022 12:20

@RugbyGirl1 the worst bit is you can't explain to the poor little fella that you're doing it to help him feel better. 😭 All he knows is he keeps getting grabbed and having gunk dropped in his eye.

I guess it's good practice for having a baby??

@BellaBella38 I swear by the Bundaberg ginger beer, which we can get in Sainsbury's. It's not too sweet or spicy but it has real ginger in it, and I find the fizz helps (although I know some people find the opposite). Or get some fresh ginger and chop that up into hot water and honey?

RugbyGirl1 · 04/09/2022 12:49

@Melusina123 aww definitely. They just don't understand and obviously don't know that you're just trying to help them 😔 perfect practice for a baby!

My referral seems to be different to all of yours... I rang my GP on Friday. The receptionist said they have a midwife that works Friday mornings, so I have an appointment with them first (booked for when I'll be 6 weeks) then they do the rest of the referral after, so it sounds like a sort of two part referral?

EdinburghGirl1 · 04/09/2022 12:49

@Melusina123 ooh yes I loved ginger beer when I was pregnant with my DD

knickknack30 · 04/09/2022 14:15

Hey ladies, is there a Facebook group? I got my BFP over the weekend so I'm only about 4 weeks. I have a wee boy of 15 months already and had a miscarriage 2 months before he was conceived so early pregnancy is always an anxious time for me.

Singingloudforalltohear · 04/09/2022 18:07

Can I please join? Got my BFP last Wed at 11dpo. I’m 4weeks 5 days. Had a missed miscarriage in Dec and a chemical 2 cycles ago at exactly 4 weeks so quite nervous.

MMC stopped developing just short of 6 weeks. Discovered on an early scan at just over 7 weeks.

Did a few tests 2 days apart and line got darker so that’s a good sign.

Will book an early scan. Anyone else planning to get one? If so, at what stage?

roorooA · 04/09/2022 18:29

@knickknack30 I haven't seen a Facebook group yet but would love one. I had one for my first baby. Happy to set one up if needed/wanted.

Leanne053 · 04/09/2022 18:53

@knickknack30 I know there's a April FB group but I have no idea who/how starts a May one 🤔

Griffles · 04/09/2022 18:56

@Leanne053 @roorooA if you go onto the "birth clubs" talk category there's a May 2023 thread on there which has a link to a fb group someone has started 🙂

Leanne053 · 04/09/2022 19:05

@Griffles how do I find that sorry?

OrangeTable · 04/09/2022 19:12

TMI question but do you ladies wear panty liners during the first trimester to monitor discharge/spotting?

Griffles · 04/09/2022 19:45

If you go to talk - all talk topics - pregnancy - birth clubs you should be able to find the May thread

No, but I feel like I'm peeing CONSTANTLY.

Smithy92 · 04/09/2022 20:02

Hi, hopefully I can join on partners behalf. Almost 6weeks pregnant and partner has almost every symptom on the list (bar morning sickness at the mo) but can't stop worrying at every little change. Previously had an ectopic so nervous again.

Out of interest did anyone notice their bloating increase / decrease occasionally rather than just increase day on day?

Sallyh87 · 04/09/2022 20:19

Hi all, can I join? Had my BFP last Friday. Very surprising as we had been trying for over a year on and off. This is our second, I am hoping it sticks!

This time all my symptoms seem different. No real breast tenderness but I am already constipated!

Hope everyone is feeling good and congratulations all.

dobby13 · 04/09/2022 21:28

If anyone finds the link to the FB group can they share here? Struggling to find the thread!!

Welcome newbies!
