Thanks so much for the kind words @Tubbytele @alwaysseeingstars and everyone else ❤️

hotelp · 23/08/2022 15:33

I won't join in on birth stories as mine is a nightmare and put me off another child for 4.5 years Blush
But this time round it's straight to elective c section- anyone else?

Skylark1990 · 23/08/2022 15:36

Sorry to hear about your neck @AliceinSlumberland 😥 maybe a warm wheat pack might help?

@MamaOh that orgasm technique sounds interesting 😂 DD was "late" as in came at 41+6 so we definitely had sex a lot in the last week or so before she came as this can help, but if any type of orgasm suffices I can imagine easier ways 😂 esp at 41 weeks pregnant!

@Dragonfly909 a few of us are still breastfeeding so you're in good company 😊 welcome and congrats! My nipples didn't hurt this time round till about 5/6 weeks. Now at 7 weeks they're very painfully when DD feeds and my supply has dropped a lot. We just on one feed at bedtime now and I'm considering stopping soon as there really isn't much milk... 😥 Bittersweet, think I'll feel quite emotional when we do finally stop. How old is your LO? X

Margo34 · 23/08/2022 15:51

@Dragonfly909 Congratulations! I still BF my almost 23mo, my nips are sore from toddler acrobatics not so much pregnancy 😂

ClaBro1 · 23/08/2022 16:02

Has anyone booked an early scan? If so, did you get transvaginal? I’ve booked one for 7w 2 days and the email said they may opt to do that as well as ultrasound. I didn’t expect that at all.

Dragonfly909 · 23/08/2022 16:04

@Skylark1990 aw that's great! I feel like breastfeeding during pregnancy will have all its own issues so would be great to talk to others in the same situation! Little one is just 2, we wanted a smaller age gap but it's taken a year to conceive (not breastfeeding related, there was another issue and not with me!) However now I think actually it will hopefully be easier with her slightly older (fingers crossed) I am hoping we won't have to stop bf but I heard supply often drops :( how old is your LO?

@Margo34 I hear ya 😂 my LO has never had a good latch and is very chompy when latching, I just grit my teeth until she sorts herself out! She also likes to put my hair out in handfuls while feeding... 🤨

bluebubbles12 · 23/08/2022 16:06

Scan went well and here's our little blob! 8+1 from LMP, but measuring 7+6 which fits with ovulation

@Skylark1990 thank you, got a hot water bottle on it as we speak so hopefully that helps!

@hotelp yes I’ll be having an elective hopefully, going to ask at my booking in appointment and say that’s what I want.

@ClaBro1 i think the one we’ve booked only does abdominal but I’ve heard they transvaginal can be much clearer, I’ve had transvaginal scans done when I got my pcos diagnosis and they were honestly totally fine.

AliceinSlumberland · 23/08/2022 16:14

Yayyy @bluebubbles12 fantastic news, I bet that feels amazing!

@bluebubbles12 how lovely!! that must feel wonderful 😍

LauraA31 · 23/08/2022 16:25

@ClaBro1 hello! I have also booked a private scan for 7 weeks and the company we are using do trasvaginal too… im also unsure on what to think, i can opt for an abdominal but want to see clear baby is okay! When is yours booked for?

@bluebubbles12 that’s amazing!! 😅

Longbin · 23/08/2022 16:28

@MamaOh how did he know about your egg quality?

bluebubbles12 · 23/08/2022 16:29

Thanks 😊 Mine was an internal scan and once you get over the awkwardness of taking your lower clothes off (behind a screen) then it felt OK and no-one saw anything.

Tubbytele · 23/08/2022 16:29

Hi @Dragonfly909 I'm BF my toddler who is 23m, and my nips are absolutely sore!!

@hotelp I most likely will be having an elective CS too.

@LauraA31 we are booked for 9th sept. I just assumed it would be abdominal. I know it’s silly to care that it might be transvaginal, I just didn’t expect it.

GeorgiePorge · 23/08/2022 16:35

@Dragonfly909 hiya.. i think you are about the same as me - i think i'm 5+3 but cant for the life of me remember the first day of my period last month!

I'm BF my 11month old, and so far boobs have been fine - in fact the only symptoms I may have are tiredness and the raging hump... which to be honest could have nothing to do with the pregnancy and everything to do with a poorly baby keeping me up all night. To be honest I'm ready to stop BF just at a loss of how to settle him without the power of the boob!

ancienthouse · 23/08/2022 16:40

@bluebubbles12 what a lovely scan picture it's so cute!

@Dragonfly909 I'm BFing my 3yo or I was until about a week ago when she stopped being interested really. She's latched on a few times but it really hurts me so she popped right back off. My boobs have been sore the whole time, but they're also sore every cycle after ovulation. I never got that as a period symptom before I had DD so maybe it's the progesterone /prolactin combination causing it for me.

Wouldloveanother · 23/08/2022 17:01

Great to see a scan photo @bluebubbles12 🥰

Just popped into Boots and had a little look at the teeny tiny baby grows! I can’t help it!

@MamaOh yes! Sweating hard here. Not sure if partly due to the Prednisolone lm taking -this is for the IVF we had

Marshmallowmountain · 23/08/2022 17:10

Hey all, I’m 5w today and got my 3+ last night on clear blue digital. However today I’ve had some slightly pink discharge when wiping and now I’m terrified. I had a chemical last month so I feel like this is going to end too 😔 I’m not sure what to do

@MamaOh that's really interesting. I had an early miscarriage and I suspect it was my uterus that played the main part as I have endometriosis. My last period before I conceived this time was really weird, lots of mucous and it felt like my uterus was having a good clearout. Then I conceived the next cycle and I've made it to almost 7 weeks. So if this one ends in a MC then I guess it will be more likely to be egg related.

I'm sorry about your previous losses but it's great you've found someone who can help you.
