And the food aversion too. Will that go anytime soon? I'm so bored of my limited diet!!
I feel like in last pregnancy the sickness stuck around til about 13 weeks. But I don't even want to wait that long 😩 driving me up the wall now!

amylee1817 · 14/08/2022 08:19

My sickness started at about 10 weeks last time and lasted till about 18 weeks. This time it started at 5 weeks and is horrendous! It's really getting me down. I too am sick of eating Crisps and bread 😭

Rainbowbaby23 · 14/08/2022 09:03

@amylee1817 in Northern Ireland we only have wttw and ulstrasound direct which are booked up for a few days. Cramps have eased off thankfully but still no more sympToms.

Rainbowbaby23 · 14/08/2022 09:22

Got an appointment with EPU on Wednesday:)

Bobduncan · 14/08/2022 09:39

Does anyone not have any sickness yet? I'm 8w and just feel tired and that's all. I'm worried this isn't a good sign 😔

Clarps84 · 14/08/2022 10:21

@Bobduncan My sickness kicked in big time just as I was approaching 9 weeks, currently 11 weeks and have been physically sick since then. Prior to that I didn’t have many symptoms. Everyone is different though and having symptoms or not doesn’t mean anything when it comes to baby’s health.
I totally get how you feel though, when my symptoms ease off, I start to worry! Think it’s all normal

dmb91 · 14/08/2022 10:35

Can dogs sense pregnancy? I went to my MILs last night to sit with her dog for a bit and walk him while she's away and he just laid on me with his head on my belly ❤️

Bobduncan · 14/08/2022 10:53

Thank you @Clarps84 that's reassuring 💓

Jholli · 14/08/2022 11:30

Sickness is bad for me but worse if I eat little and often. The less I’m eating the better I feel as there’s nothing to make me feel sick I guess

Hi @Rainbowbaby23 I was able to book an appointment with bump to baby in Belfast for today. They seemed to have a lot of appointments for this afternoon. I was also looking At window to the womb Belfast (Lisburn) and they had appointments for today too. If that helps you! ☺️

Babynum2 · 14/08/2022 12:36

@Jholli same im past even feeling hungry now i live off a slice of bread or few bickys a day. Theres just no point in me trying to eat it comes straight back up 5 mins later. Im just preying it gets better soon so worried about my baby getting what they need now.

TeddyBeans · 14/08/2022 13:16

@dmb91 I think so. My dog (lives at my parents house) was so affectionate and cuddly through my first pregnancy and he's started again now ❤️ gets all soppy instead of energetic around me

@Bobduncan I'm 11 weeks now and not been sick once! It's been similar in my previous pregnancies but I do worry sometimes.

Babynum2 · 14/08/2022 16:33

Rainbowbaby23 · 14/08/2022 17:49

Thirdtimesacharm3 · 14/08/2022 19:11

@Babynumberthreeee hello! There are a few of us on here on number 3 or more I think. My older two are 7 and 5 so am (and i am 41) so am feeling on the older side!

@Rainbowbaby23 hope your scan goes ok at EPU

Babynum2 · 14/08/2022 19:13

@Thirdtimesacharm3 Yes im on baby 2 i have 9 and 3yo im 28 i dont know how im going to cope going to 3.

Thirdtimesacharm3 · 14/08/2022 19:17

@Babynum2 I know what you mean. Some days I think it will be ok - others I get really panicked! My two boys fight like cat and dog most of the time two which is the main thing I worry about. How is your sickness? Mine is finally easing off to more manageable waves now thank fully.

Babynumberthreeee · 14/08/2022 19:37

@Thirdtimesacharm3 hey!

Its so nice to have people who are in the same position.
How are you feeling about going back to the newborn stage? I am dreading it a bit as its been so nice to be able to go out for the day without a plethora of bottles, nappies, half your life each time you leave.

Have you told your children yet? I haven't but the 5 year old has definitely noticed a dip in my energy levels.

allthingssparkly · 14/08/2022 19:46

Pregnant with baby number 3 too @Babynumberthreeee I will have a 9 and 8 year old by the time baby is here, still can't believe it's happening 🤭

Babynum2 · 14/08/2022 20:49

@Thirdtimesacharm3 mine are boy and girl plus 5 years apart and still fight constantly.
My sickness is still very very bad im sick all day no matter what i do.

Rainbowbaby23 · 14/08/2022 20:54

Does anyone know if getting too many scans is bad? I have to wait until Wednesday to be seen by epu but i might book a private one for tomorrow i really can’t help worrying as cramps seem to be getting more intense

Hi @Rainbowbaby23 with my others I always had serial scans from 28 week every 2-3 weeks until full term so I don't know if it is harmful to have too many. Hope you can get one before Wednesday for peace of mind! If you rang EPU again tomorrow and explain maybe they would see you?
