Carry on thread for babies due March 2023!

@June628 I was prescribed cyclizine earlier this week and I'm finding it does help, I can take it upto 3 times a day. Hope it works for you 🤞 I'm 10 weeks tomorrow, due 10th March 🥰

Is anyone else struggling with really bad back pain and has any remedies? I’ve got a really sharp lower back pain that radiates pins and needles down both legs and it’s agony! I’ve tried paracetamol but it doesn’t touch it and I’m wary of taking too many tablets

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStark I had acupuncture with my first and it really sorted it out. I booked 5 sessions and was better in 2 :)

@alotoftutus how far along were you when you had it? I wasn’t sure if it would be safe so early on

It really doesn't! I try to go for a lunchtime walk but last two days have resulted in me having to cut it short for a stint sat by the fan before logging back on to work! Luckily I WFH now 😂

Is everyone else struggling in this heat!! I'm so hot and bothered it's just making me feel more sick😭

100%! I'm suffering! Barely slept last night because of it.

I've been adding frozen berries to glasses of water and that seems to help a bit as a constant cooler. Also helps that the downstairs loo is the coolest room in the house, and all that sipping has me spending a lot of time in there! 😅

I've made camp at my parents house as they have an AC unit. We're booked for a weekend in a shepherds hut for our anniversary and I can honestly say I'm dreading it 😬

It’s sooo hot here in the hospital the fans are basically blowing warm air about! Cant wait to be off all weekend😂

Just back from my booking appointment. Everything seems a little more real now. Just desperate to have my scan, I feel like it's taking all of eternity.

Pretty sure I had triple the bloods taken. My arm is numb and I feel really weak.
All the while the not so dear husband is pissing me off because he thought he'd go and have a lay down when I got home - just when dinner needs cooking, kids are hangry and killing each other, 2 year old locked herself in the bathroom and couldn't work out how to open it so was screaming whilst I try and calm her down and unscrew the door handle, and the house looks like a bomb. He apparently needed to sort out his flights and hotel to go away next week and now whilst laying on the bed made sense to do it.

I'm ready to throw him in the bin.

The weather is horrible im ready for winter i cant cope im so dehdrated i just know they are going to admit me again as ive had 2 days of non stop sicking up my water and havent eaten anything in 48 hours. I keep getting up and my eyes go black and feel dizzy.

@alotoftutus I have bad veins so the midwife ending up taking 1.5 tubes from one hand then 3 tubes from my other hand!
I'd be preparing the new patio ready for 'd'h while he is away next week!

@EasterBunny7 I feel massive but I think it's just the bloat!

@EasterBunny7 I am, too. I feel like I started showing at 6 and have a proper belly now at 8. I'm pretty petite and it is my second, so not wholly surprising. Are you into maternity clothes or how are you handling getting dressed?

When is everyone starting a spot of baby shopping? 👣

@EMcG3 when I'm with people who know already, I just where whatever even if I look 5 months pregnant. Everywhere else, I have to find my most loose, flowing clothing. Even then, if the wind blows the wrong way!

@allthingssparkly I have most of the big stuff in the loft from DS. Main thing to buy will be clothes and baby toys so probably after 16 weeks if we can find out the gender then 🤞

@EasterBunny7 I didn't lose the baby weight after DS so have been looking about 6 months pregnant for 4 years 🤣 it's starting to get a bit firmer lower down now though

Hi has anyone experienced cramping around 9 weeks? Its to one side where the baby is and im trying not to worry as scan 2 days ago everything was fine! God this is so nervewrecking lol

@Rainbowbaby23 I'm pretty sure I had cramping and aches all the way through my last pregnancy!

I'm really struggling today. The nausea is intense, it's so hot here and I'm trying to entertain my toddler without throwing up.
