@Katlouise24 great photos 🥰🥰🥰 xxx

mummyofrb · 08/08/2022 17:50

@hol92 I had mine when I was about 7 1/2 weeks and got dated to 6+5 which was further along than I thought! It's such a relief just think when you worry that it goes right a lot more of the time than it goes wrong! Even straight after I walked out my scan I felt good for about half an hour then started worrying again so i think everyone is the same! Xx

Had an early scan today. Baby was measuring to the exact date 9 weeks 0 days! Heartbeat was also very good.

In the second photo we think baby looks like a little gummy bear!

Ah amazing!

Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels · 08/08/2022 17:55

@Katlouise24 I can see your name and DOB etc on those pics just FYI! They're beautiful 😍

I'm sick of feeling sick, it's only been 4 weeks but it feels like 4 months 🤮

alotoftutus · 08/08/2022 18:00

@Penelope_2023 most people's due dates change at their scans. It probably just means you ovulated a little earlier in the month. The pregnancy date based on LMP is for a standard 28 cycle with ovulation happening at a certain date within those 28 days. I ovulate usually late in the cycle so my due dates are always fairly different for LMP dates too. Definitely nothing to worry about xxx

Sandcastles24 · 08/08/2022 19:07

@Katlouise24 your little gummy bear is so cute 😍

@mummyofrb well I haven’t had any more, I contacted my midwife who didn’t get back to me for 3 days, I contacted the dr and they said as it was such a small amount that unless I get any more or have bad pains then not to worry but when I mentioned the stinging pains they got me to do a test for a UTI which I do have, but am nervous about taking the antibiotics xxx
i have an early scan booked next week at 8 weeks, I’m so nervous already xxx

@mummyofrb when I was very early pregnant with my second I had a bad chest infection and was prescribed antibiotics. Was very nervous about taking them but my Doctor reassured me it would be ok to take them and they worked wonders after a couple of days i got such relief

MattyM5 · 08/08/2022 19:52

@Katlouise24 Awww the sweetest little gummy bear!! 🥳

rach971 · 08/08/2022 21:52

For god sake 😩 I'm around 7+5 now and I just had brownish discharge when I wiped 😩 Had some at 5-6 weeks that lasted for a week and a half (many of you will remember me posting about it). Had everything checked at EPU and all was fine, they thought it was just due to implantation. But now I'm worried that it's started up again 😩😩 Praying all is okay 😩

TeddyBeans · 09/08/2022 08:52

@rach971 brown blood is generally thought to be okay as it's old blood. Try not to worry too much

rach971 · 09/08/2022 09:03

@TeddyBeans Thank you, it's hard to tell with there not being much of it but it looked more pinky than the last discharge I had which was definitely a brown colour. I had a private scan booked for next week (would be 9 weeks so I thought if I booked one for then, I'll be able to wait until my 12 week scan date without worrying), but I've messaged them and brought it forward today. That'll be four scans I've had in three weeks now 🤦🏼‍♀️

Private one a day before the EPU one because they advertised spaces and I was too anxious so I went for it. Then the EPU one for the discharge. Then a follow up from the private scan a week later because they couldn't see much on the first one so they do a free repeat scan. And now this one today 🤦🏼‍♀️ And now I'm worried that I'll have had too many scans. I feel bad saying it but I'm honestly just not enjoying this pregnancy at all haha.

Roll on a few weeks time when hopefully everything is okay and it's further along and I can start worrying less! 😩 x

ChristmasJumpers · 09/08/2022 09:19

@rach971 I hope you're okay! From what I've seen you can't have too many scans. I think as long as the blood isn't red you're okay. Pink or brown could be anything from old blood, cervix irritation or the baby dislodging some of your lining while they grow. I hope all is well at the scan 😊

rach971 · 09/08/2022 09:23

@ChristmasJumpers Thank you. It's just frustrating when there's no obvious cause :( I haven't had sex, so it can't be that. Last time they put it down to implantation bleeding, and ironically it stopped the day I got the EPU scan.

The only possibility I can think of this time is that I was walking around Liverpool for 5 hours in the heat yesterday, so whether it's a little bit of over exertion has done it. I know of course these things can just randomly happen anyway, but it's hard when you can't see an obvious explanation for it.

I think if everything is okay at this scan, and assuming I don't get more future discharge/bleeding or anything, then I'm just going to wait until the 12 week scan now. I have my booking appointment later so I'm just trying to stay positive and look forward to that as well, and they'll give me my scan date there so that's exciting 🥰 x

allthingssparkly · 09/08/2022 10:24

Week 9 and I feel like the nausea is at its worse, anyone else the same? I'm either in bed or lying on the sofa because I'm extremely tired/falling asleep or so nauseous with a bowl in front of me 😩 it's so debilitating! I have had to call the gp this morning for some anti sickness because I'm not sure how much more I can deal with 😷

Woo I'm due March 4th 2023👏🏻 so excited, this is my first pregnancy ❤️

rach971 · 09/08/2022 11:40

Been for a scan today and baby stopped growing a few days ago at 7 weeks, so it looks like the discharge is the start of a miscarriage:( Got a scan at EPU on Thursday morning to confirm. I'm gutted but feeling okay, just confusing isn't it. Dreading trying again and it all happening again :( Good luck with all your pregnancies everyone ♥️

Kt12344 · 09/08/2022 15:11

@rach971 very sorry to hear that I thought everything was going to be okay for you 😔

rach971 · 09/08/2022 15:14

@Kt12344 Same, now I was getting towards 8 weeks. But to be honest since I found I was pregnant just over 4 weeks ago I've always had a feeling it wasn't going to go right. I don't know why, maybe it was just me being generally anxious, but it's not come as any huge shock. It's just hard when you don't know an exact reason as to why it's gone wrong.

Is anyone here pregnant after loss? I'm so scared of trying again. Having to go through it all again. Even this 4 weeks of knowing I'm pregnant has totally dragged and felt like forever. I want to have a child with my partner (my daughter is from a previous relationship) but I just don't know how I'm supposed to go through it all again. Some people are so strong and I'm just not 🙈

rach971 · 09/08/2022 15:15

Thank you everyone as well for your kind words ♥️
