Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

Congratulations @ViMa1820 I found going from
2-3 children easy! I'm hoping going from 3-4 is just as easy 😂

Sunnyxo · 10/08/2022 17:25

@41andtryingforfirst that’s not too many days out at all, and implantation in that 10 days is definitely possible to show a positive🤞🏻

sorry to hear @KennAdams hoping it’s okay, if you can’t bare the wait you can go straight to the EPU without a doctor referral, I think most are open 24/7 and usually less wait time in the evening. I went yesterday as was having some brown spotting so they did an internal scan.

@Wouldloveanother yay! That’ll fly by, I’ve got mine on the 25th after work 😊 nervous but exciting…

hi @ViMa1820congratulations 🥳

KennAdams · 10/08/2022 17:35

@Sunnyxo unfortunately for ours you need a referral 😔😔

ViMa1820 · 10/08/2022 18:02

@CinderellaFant that's good to hear! That's generally the feedback but then I get someone saying something I don't want hear and I start really worrying lol.

But if your going for number 4, it can't be that bad! What genders do you have already? I've two girls.

limoncelloo · 10/08/2022 18:28

Hi everyone, finding it hard to keep up here now!

Sorry to everyone who's had bad news 💐

And welcome to all the new bfp's 💗

I'm being sick multiple times a day and it's taking a mental toll on me tbh. Although I never had symptoms with my miscarriages so I know it's a good thing.

Is anyone else having a LOT of discharge? Ever since my bfp I have lots of creamy, lotion like white discharge. I've read it's a good sign but I'm constantly checking I'm not bleeding and it's not helping my anxiety xx

Wouldloveanother · 10/08/2022 18:31

How many weeks are you again Limon remind me? With DD I found keeping a packet of plain rich tea biscuits by the bed and eating one or two before getting out of bed in the morning helped. As did sipping lucozade. I’m sorry I can remember how grim it was!

limoncelloo · 10/08/2022 18:34

@Wouldloveanother I'm 6+3 today.

I've been bad with all my pregnancies, with DC3 I was so ill I was hospitalised. I just don't want to get to that point again.

I've been having ice as I can't bear anything! It becomes quite stressful as I want to look after my baby and make sure I'm getting all the nutrition I need but I'm struggling 😩

Congratulations @ViMa1820 I found going from
2-3 children easy! I'm hoping going from 3-4 is just as easy 😂

Glad to hear 2-3 was easy! Girls will be 3 and nearly 4 when (hopefully) this baby comes.
I'd love 4 but have to convince hubby 😆

ViMa1820 · 10/08/2022 17:17

Hi all!

Please can I join? Just got my BFP. Already mum of two, knew I was pregnant straight away. Miscarried in June not long after my BFP so keeping positive this time around.

Exciting but also super scary. 3 children, will I cope? How much harder is life gonna get? My DDs are 2yr and 4yr.

X

My girls are 2&4 too. 19 months between them which was mental!! Having the same feelings 💕

alwaysseeingstars · 10/08/2022 18:55

@limoncelloo I've been having a lot of discharge too - was nearly in tears this morning thinking I'd woken up to a bleed! Didn't know it's a good thing so thank you 😊

limoncelloo · 10/08/2022 19:01

@alwaysseeingstars I've read someone it's due to increase of progesterone which I'm taking as a positive 😂

limoncelloo · 10/08/2022 19:02

*somewhere not someone

Longbin · 10/08/2022 19:11

@41andtryingforfirst I had a positive at 8dpo and it was pretty dark by 9dpo, so definitely possible

Wouldloveanother · 10/08/2022 19:37

When did you all get the 3+ on clearblue? I got 2-3 exactly a week ago, just did another, still 2-3. I’m 21dpo today so hoped to see it!

Skylark1990 · 10/08/2022 19:38

@limoncelloo hello! Just realised I remember you from the thread I posted about re miscarriage and breastfeeding. I ended up getting a BFP and am now 5 weeks, just joined this group a few days ago 🤗 still feeding DD but just once per day and taking progesterone so am keeping my fingers crossed. Glad you are well (aside from the sickness!) And that things look to be progressing x

Skylark1990 · 10/08/2022 19:42

@Wouldloveanother I haven't tested again yet I was planning to on Sunday when I'll be 5+4. I'd always give it a few days because at 5 weeks on the dot you'll only just be able to get a 3+, and everyone's levels rise differently so best to wait a few more days I think! In my last pregnancy I got a 3+ at 5+4, but I also know of plenty who never get it for some reason... Those tests can be unreliable so don't worry at all about it (in saying that I defo still want to see it this time!) X@41andtryingforfirst like others have said I think it sounds very likely things are progressing well and you'll see a well developing baby on Mon! Did they see the heartbeat at last scan? X

simplythequest · 10/08/2022 20:01

@Wouldloveanother I was on a thought train the other night and went along the digital weeks line - I wondered what the thresholds for each stage were, and when I looked them up, the jump from 2-3 weeks to 3+ weeks was huge! So then, I calculated how long it would take to get from 1-2 weeks to 3+ weeks based on the lowest hcg level possible and the doubling every 2 days rule.

I worked out that, if my hcg were at the lowest possible level to be detected by the digital test, I would have to wait until I was 6+3 weeks to get a 3+ weeks! Which is quite a long time!

Wouldloveanother · 10/08/2022 20:10

@simplythequest thats maths right there 😂 and has put my mind at rest, thank you!

J1290 · 10/08/2022 20:15

@limoncelloo vomiting sounds all gd! Part of me cant wait because i know its a good thing
also hospitlised with my first and very nearly with second
full horrible HG but its all good news
lots creamy CM too
i want my 7 week scan now haha
impatience

simplythequest · 10/08/2022 20:36

@Wouldloveanother that's the teacher in me! Glad you're feeling better about it. Obviously that's not going to be the case for everyone, because I started with the base level, but people who get it quicker may well just have a higher level of hcg when they get the 1-2 weeks. For example, if they had a level that was near the threshold for 2-3 weeks, then it would take them about a week and a half to get that 3+.

Sorry if I'm boring anyone 😆

@limoncelloo yes, 4+4 here and getting that sort of cm, which I agree is a cause for concern when you think its something else!

CinderellaFant · 10/08/2022 20:46

@ViMa1820 @Orangesaretheonly I have a boy (12) a girl (10) and a boy (5) so it will be like starting over again 😂 but I'll have plenty of helpers and I know they'll be fab.

xttcbabyno1x · 10/08/2022 20:55

Hi all, can I join! I found out Sunday @ 8dpo on an easy@home test, now 11dpo, due date is 17th April 23 ☺️ anyone else feeling super nervous and imagining cramps every two mins ? Xxx

mummatara · 10/08/2022 21:15

@xttcbabyno1x hey lovely nice to see you here 💕

Banderbear · 10/08/2022 21:23

Hello everyone,

I got my BFP 12 loooongs days ago. I’m currently 5+3 and have a tentative due date of 9th April. Next cycle would’ve been a year of trying and we’ve had nothing but completely white tests until this month. I only tested as I was meant to be out for drinks after work and wanted to put my mind at ease. We were both in pure shock.

I’ve had on and off cramps every day since BFP but other symptoms (bloating and sore boobs) are so intermittent they’re worrying me. I have an early scan booked for 7 weeks on 21st Sept to hopefully put my mind at ease.

xttcbabyno1x · 10/08/2022 21:27

@Banderbear hello!! I'm 4+3 and have off and on cramping too, first baby so not sure if normal or not? I have a 7 week scan booked too :) xxx

@mummatara hey again you💕 how are you feeling ? Xx
