Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

@HoneyPea deepest condolences there are no words, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Skylark1990 · 10/08/2022 13:01

Hey all, just been catching up.

I'm also waking much earlier than usual so think it is a thing 😅 it's annoying as I'm also very tired!

5weeks today, not many symptoms yet at all. Just looking forward to my scan on 22nd, I'll be 6+5 and really really hoping it all looks good.

@3rdtimelucky2022 really happy for you your scan went well ❤️ I've had recurrent loss too and also on the progesterone, hope it helps you ! I am finding it ok but I did get quite bad cramping when I first started taking it x

With my DD I started vomming at around 7 weeks. So 2 more weeks perhaps! I really actually want to have symptoms haha I feel it'll reassure me. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Sure I'll be eating those words at some point.

Skylark1990 · 10/08/2022 13:02

@HoneyPea so sorry to hear your news. Sending love. Hope you're ok x

alwaysseeingstars · 10/08/2022 13:24

@HoneyPea I am so sorry, please look after yourself x

Wouldloveanother · 10/08/2022 13:26

@HoneyPea sending you luck for your next try ✨ look after yourself xx

@3rdtimelucky2022 wonderful news! I think a heartbeat slashes the MC risk by quite a bit doesn’t it? ❤️

We are due date buddies @Skylark1990 I’m also 5+0! I’m getting tiny surges of nausea but it’s more like motion sickness… it just started a few hours ago… has anyone else had it like this?

Loopylou777 · 10/08/2022 13:32

Well, can't argue with this today!

Skylark1990 · 10/08/2022 13:45

Ah nice @Wouldloveanother 🤗 I've had very very fleeting nausea too, also feels like sometimes happens for a few seconds when I first sit up in morning or move so yes a bit like motion sickbess. It's so fleeting tho no idea if I'm maybe imagining it!

Wouldloveanother · 10/08/2022 13:48

Good strong line there Loopy how are you today?

@Skylark1990 I think this is the beginning of the nausea! It’s odd, it’s such an unpleasant symptom but I also find it reassuring as it’s (sort of) a sign that the pregnancy is progressing.

Emeal123 · 10/08/2022 13:55

@alwaysseeingstars i am 4 weeks 4 days, yes burps too! Getting a little bit of cramping at the moment but I think it’s wind!!

Badassbreastfeeder85 · 10/08/2022 13:57

So I've decided to book in a viability scan,my first opportunity is the 31st August so technically I'll be 8 weeks by then,it's 3 weeks to wait but I figure if there's a heartbeat then,it's more likely to progress and then I won't have too long to wait till my 12 week scan,I'm not going to tell anyone till I've jad my scan on the 31st,going to be a long wait

Emeal123 · 10/08/2022 13:59

Thinking of you @HoneyPea look after yourself 😞💕 xxxx

Emeal123 · 10/08/2022 14:03

@Badassbreastfeeder85 we are going to book a viability scan too! We miscarried our last two pregnancies between weeks 5 and 6, currently 4+4 so going to wait until we get past 6 weeks then book the viability scan for after week 7 (eeek)! X

mummatara · 10/08/2022 14:17

@HoneyPea so sorry lovely ❤️

@Loopylou777 lovely strong line

alwaysseeingstars · 10/08/2022 14:18

@Emeal123 ah we're v similar, I'm 4+6! also getting some mild cramping.
@Badassbreastfeeder85 that sounds like a good plan 😊DH wants to wait till the 12 week scan to tell anyone which will be horrendous 😩

41andtryingforfirst · 10/08/2022 14:33

Ah @HoneyPea I'm so sorry. I was hoping there'd be better news. UTIs are the worst - I hope they can get to the bottom of it and you get some relief from it soon. I do hope you are ok despite the nausea. It's awful isn't it? The body just doesn't want to let go 😢

I've got no nausea. Zero. Still got the brown bleeding. Wouldn't know I was pregnant if it wasn't for the mega bloat and the stupid early waking every day. I'm finding it hard not to compare myself to others who are experiencing more symptoms but less further along than me. It's making me feel very nervous.

I guess I've just got to hope and pray baby is growing and we see a heartbeat on Monday. Finding this whole journey very emotionally draining though which is preventing me from getting genuinely excited 😢😢 x

Sorry to hear @HoneyPea sending my thoughts ❤️

Skylark1990 · 10/08/2022 15:12

So interesting and also sad to hear so many of us have had previous loss(es). I was going to make a thread for those due April after a MC specifically as I was in one with my last pregnancy and it was such a comfort (I'm still in touch with them). But I feel like maybe it's not needed as there are so many of us here 🤷‍♀️ can mull on it a bit... anyway it's nice to know we are in it together and have this support online 💜

@41andtryingforfirst I hear of so so many women who don't really get symptoms so my fingers are crossed for you it's good news on Mon! How many weeks are you now? X

41andtryingforfirst · 10/08/2022 15:18

@Skylark1990 I agree that a thread like that would be really good it also agree that it seems like a lot of us are in the same boat anyway!

It's hard to say how far along I am as I fell pregnant after the MC so can't date it from LMP as I didn't have one. I thought I ovulated on 9/7 which would put me at 6+4 but the scan on Monday put me as 5+6 as I was 2.8mm. (Although from other sites I've seen that would be about right for 6+2 if it's 1mm per day from 6 weeks?)

They said on Monday it has to be at least 7mm and have a heartbeat. If not it's an MC. I just cannot contemplate that - having two back to back MC in such a short space of time will actually break me. I'm terrified tbh 😢

Ah so there’s only 5 days in it @41andtryingforfirst ? Did you do OPKs during that cycle?

I had a bizarre early scan with DD, I was certain of my dates as I was using OPKs and they worked very well for me (plus my luteal phase is set in stone). I was sure I ovulated on day 13, but the early scan put me 5 days ahead meaning CD8 which I’m pretty sure would make conception unlikely Confused plus I don’t think we even DTD until CD10 or something.

everything is so tiny and fast changing at this point that it’s hard for even professionals to pinpoint what is going on.

Hang in there! When is your next scan?

KennAdams · 10/08/2022 15:58

I think I'm out too, every time I've gone for a wee today when I've wiped there's been pink on the tissue.

I kmow it might not be but we suffer from recurrent miscarriages anyway.

I've got a telephone appt with gp tomorrow who I'm hoping will refer me to EPU.

41andtryingforfirst · 10/08/2022 16:07

@Wouldloveanother it was 3 days out (I thought 6+2 and they said 5+6).

Next scan is on Monday. The wait is really hard!

Yeah I was using 3 different types of ovulation trackers - clear blue digital, Mira and the cheapie sticks! I had the surge on the 9th. However tracking my BBT was allll over the place. I've attached a pic. I put that down to the fact I was still in limbo land following the MC.

I baby danced on the 8th 9th and 10th and got my first positive test on 19th which would have been 10 dpo. So I've got no bloody idea. It could be I ovulated later than I thought but then would be surprised that the pregnancy test showed positive b4 10dpo?

Clearly I'm confused 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I got my positive at 8dpo - positive OPK on 19th, positive test by 28th. So it’s entirely possible you got that positive a couple days earlier than you think. Do you have a pic of the test?

Wouldloveanother · 10/08/2022 16:32

Got my NHS early scan date by the way - 6th September in the morning. Just under 4 weeks to go 🤞🏻

alwaysseeingstars · 10/08/2022 16:45

@Wouldloveanother @41andtryingforfirst my positive test was also on 8dpo and a pretty strong line, definitely no squinter!

ViMa1820 · 10/08/2022 17:17

Hi all!

Please can I join? Just got my BFP. Already mum of two, knew I was pregnant straight away. Miscarried in June not long after my BFP so keeping positive this time around.

Exciting but also super scary. 3 children, will I cope? How much harder is life gonna get? My DDs are 2yr and 4yr.

X
