Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

@Chocolat I've actually lost weight but I'd gained loads from the IVF round I had in June. I think I've lost 4lbs since my BFP on Saturday

hotelp · 09/08/2022 17:18

Ok so is it a thing my nipples are widely sensitive, but no widespread breast tenderness? Blush

Wouldloveanother · 09/08/2022 17:20

I didn’t get breast tenderness throughout the whole of my last pregnancy, or this one! They only got swollen when my milk came in. I’ve never related to the whole pregnancy/swollen boobs thing!

J1290 · 09/08/2022 17:43

Sensitive nipples
odd tingle or bruise like feeling worse when walking but not massive sore boobs or anything just niggley.

faithtrustandpixiedust · 09/08/2022 17:48

Massively bloated here, thankfully it's warm and I can just stick a floaty dress on, I showed with DD super early though so fully expecting even earlier this time round!
Really sensitive nipples here too rather than sore boobs like a couple of weeks ago 😂

SamOxford · 09/08/2022 18:11

I'm due on the 9th of April! Praying everything goes well!

SearchingTheSkies · 09/08/2022 18:19

@faithtrustandpixiedust @alwaysseeingstars @mummatara Thanks for replying. I've had more nausea this evening so I think it's pregnancy sickness in its own right. I think I'm just over analysing everything.

With my dd nausea kicked in at 6 weeks, and I think I'm 6 weeks tomorrow (thought I was a bit further along but recalculated using my ov date). I only actually vomited once or twice last time. I found sitting still and breathing through my nose helped me control it.

I think 6 weeks was also when I felt like there were razor blades inside my nipples, so I'll be curious to see if that happens again! No boob soreness yet.

@MIW01 congratulations and wishing you all the best!

Pickles91 · 09/08/2022 18:25

Sore boobs here too! There were a little sore at 10dpo and ramped up last night. I kind of like it though in as much as I find symptoms quite reassuring. Is that weird?

@MIW01 congratulations! What a journey you’ve been on. Hopefully you can have a relaxing, easy pregnancy now.

@Loopylou777 my friend had a squinter on FRER at 13dpo and her LO is now a very happy, healthy, sassy two year old. Hopefully a FRER will bring some clarity

Emeal123 · 09/08/2022 18:40

@Pickles91 i also find symptoms reassuring so don’t mind them too much!

@SamOxford we have the same due date! 😍

SamOxford · 09/08/2022 18:43

@Emeal123 No way!! Where are you from??

Emeal123 · 09/08/2022 18:46

@Emeal123 i am from Nottingham, you?

OttilieKnackered · 09/08/2022 18:53

Is anyone else not feeling tired at all? I’m feeling no more tired than usual and worrying it’s a bad sign.

All I have so far is big/sore boobs, very mild pinchy cramps, and extremely mild occasional nausea.

I had a MMC a year ago so can’t help but look for signs of the same again.

I’m only 4+4 so I know it’s really early.

mummatara · 09/08/2022 18:55

@OttilieKnackered nope not tired here yet though I do have a 18 month to run around after so I'm thinking I'm just a so used to being tired I don't feel it 😂 my only symptoms are heartburn and this morning my nipples are a little sore but nothing major

J1290 · 09/08/2022 19:12

@OttilieKnackered similAr 4+5
with bloated and feeling hot and cant sleep!

simplythequest · 09/08/2022 19:14

I wish I had more/different symptoms! Right now, I think I'd be reassured by them. Not enjoying the symptoms that are making me think I'm about to start bleeding. Only 4+3 so I'm only too aware of how early it is.

BecksLouise · 09/08/2022 20:01

Wow congratulations! Due the same day as me 🥰

BecksLouise · 09/08/2022 20:03

Sorry my last message was to @MIW01

simplythequest · 09/08/2022 20:32

I bit the bullet and phoned the GP/informed the midwives today. I decided that, should things go wrong a 2nd time, it would be good for it to be documented somewhere so, heaven forbid, if we end up with a 3rd miscarriage along the line then we can get some help.

The midwife service has signposted me to a free app, Mum&Baby - not sure if anyone else has heard of it/used it, but it seems pretty good. It's British, so up to date with info for us in the UK where some of the Flo info doesn't apply, plus it is NHS linked, I think, so reliable enough information.

Just thought I'd let others know, since I've already seen some really reassuring stuff on there!

J1290 · 09/08/2022 20:37

@simplythequest i have HG with ny pregnancies overly sensitive to hormones so think i get symptoms early
even then i want more symptoms haha.. nausea eased abit this evening makes me paranoid! Had dark test this morning though. Gona be a long 36 weeks

Wouldloveanother · 09/08/2022 20:43

Thanks Simply, I’ve just downloaded it! All for a useful app! I’ve also downloaded Bounty because I like the progression clock.

Is anyone else dreading telling work? I haven’t been performing well lately (toddler illness, my medical conditions, loads of other stuff) and I just feel like they’re going to be thinking WTH are you doing getting pregnant when you’re not on top of everything as it is 😭 which I understand, but DD is 3 and DH says once she reaches school age he just couldn’t bring himself to go through it all again. It’s now or never for us.

I can’t lie though, a year of maternity leave is very appealing at the moment.

Loopylou777 · 09/08/2022 21:06

@Pickles91 will wait a couple more days (feels like.weeks!) then test again. I suppose there won't be much change testing hourly lol!

Emeal123 · 09/08/2022 21:06

@SamOxford i am from Nottingham, you?

MIW01 · 09/08/2022 21:15

Oh and I'm majorly constipated! 😖

SamOxford · 09/08/2022 21:21

@Emeal123 I'm from Oxford!

simplythequest · 09/08/2022 21:43

@dappledsunbeams I can't even imagine what they're going to do about SATs - my head has a major breakdown with the packing every year and I'm the only other person who knows how to do it 😆

Right now, I'm trying to keep myself occupied with work for September, as time seems to be dragging - blooming typical, the first summer holidays that time isn't whizzing past! Also slightly worried that our year 6 residential is when I will be 11 weeks and not sure how that's going to turn out... 🤪
