Babies due April 2023

Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

I was about to say I’ve stopped testing too @Longbin then remembered I ordered some clear blues last night in the hope of seeing that 3+ 😬 im 20dpo today, got 2-3 at 14dpo so here’s hoping… god they’re making money out of us aren’t they, them and first response!

just spoke to DH and said he seems a bit stressed at the moment and not overly happy with our news. He said he’s just daunted, it’s been a tough few years with DD/covid/work etc but that he will get excited nearer the time. Which is fair enough, and I said I would rather he was honest, but it means I’m excited all by myself at the moment 😭 (in real life I mean)

@Longbin oh wow! That's amazing. How far along are you?
I've got another clearblue weeks one to do (had a 2-3 yesterday so will wait till next week to use) and some more cheapies but am going to wean myself off them now 😂I've got an obstetrician appt booked for 22nd (booked before the positive test, as I've got a load of ongoing health issues) so the GP said to just tell them the news then rather than refer me to the midwife..

I dont think my hormones can sustain pregnancy anymore. Oh well, take it day by day and see what happens.

Where did you get the test Loopy?

@Loopylou777 a line is a line, no matter how faint. My dd line was really really faint for ages and she's now almost 10! Don't give up hope x

@Wouldloveanother it's only an internet cheapy. I've got 3 other children and with each of them I got strong positives, with MCs (I've had 2) they've always been faint.

Last night and today for comparison. Last night has pink lid

@Loopylou777 could you be earlier than 14dpo? I've had two chemicals and the lines were v faint so I know why you are worried. But equally on cheap tests the lines are often faint until closer to 5 weeks or even longer ... First response is definitely best for early on... I didn't get a line as dark as a control line on a cheapie until yesterday (19dpo) and on that same day I got a dye stealer from FRER (and test line was as dark as control on a FRER on 14dpo, whereas the cheapie was still light that day) so the different brands can vary so so wildly. Maybe test with a frer tomorrow morning? Or wait for a couple days before testing again x

I cant remeber exactly for my last preg i have
nausea now and it comes and goes

@J1290 I think for me with DD it started about week 7, I was nauseous from week 6. Vomming was at its worst weeks 8-16 😩😩 not looking forward but equally it's a sign things going well so weirdly am looking forward to it... 🤦‍♀️😅🙏 X

@Wouldloveanother I was doing those clearblues every day, they must make a fortune! My partner didn't seem that excited either, I think part of it is worry because he doesn't see pregnancy test with actually having a baby. It sinks in more for them when they can see us waddling around!

@alwaysseeingstars I'm 5+4 today! Really want to get to 8 weeks.

@J1290 first time around I was 5 weeks which was quite early. Most people are around 6 weeks I think. I haven't been sick yet this time around.

@Skylark1990 noo I thought I'd escaped with just nausea this time as I still haven't been physically sick! 😩

Hello, I got my BFP on Saturday so I am 5 weeks pregnant and my due date is 7th April. I am so excited as this is a much lo get for pregnancy after over 4 years, 3 unsuccessful rounds do of IVF and then after all that it's just happened naturally! I thought I was going through menopause because I have a family history of it and the fertility consultants said I have a reproductive age of 46 (I'm 36). AF was late and I'd had a bit of spotting a couple of days before so said to my fiancée I'm a week late now so I'll take a test just in case but I think it's menopause amd that means no biological children for me . . . So I can not put into words the feeling as I watched the test absorb and 2 strong lines appear! We both cried with relief and so emotional after all this time, it just happens!

I'd really love to hear about people's experiences. I just have this constant cramp in my right side, it feels like continuous period pain, very fatigued, blood sugars gone mad! Running very hot, lots of peeing, very thirsty and even more trouble sleeping

@MIW01 also cant sleep and running very hot, nausea and ramdom cramp or funny fuzzy feeling then goes again

@Luthien28 I'm nervous I had a mmc in June too but I'm trying hard to relax and enjoy it

@SearchingTheSkies I'm feeling ok getting a lot of heartburn but my nausea started at week 6/7 with my other two pregnancies so I'm fully expecting it in a couple of weeks 😳 I was very bloated from the off last time

@Loopylou777 im 13dpo today and got my BFP at 8dpo so I've got a lot of days with test lines and although they are all darker than before to look at them you would still just call the line faint so I wouldn't worry I did a lot of googling and it seems it happens a fair amount and everything is ok

@Chocolat so far I'm not with this pregnancy but in my last I was very bloated from about week 5

Hi everyone, I hope you don’t mind me joining the thread! I got my BFP yesterday and due date works out to be 9th April. This is my 5th pregnancy, three of which didn’t progress past weeks 5-7. My son is nearly 9 so I feel like I’m starting all over again and very anxious about stomach cramps I keep getting as I know they can be normal but makes me nervous! Have done 4 tests all strong positives and am having pregnancy symptoms so really praying this one sticks!!

@Chocolat i am soooo bloated I’ve had to put a loose dress on for work today everything else is too tight on my stomach!

boobs are tender and having weird vivid crazy dreams!! Anyone else? Xx

@Emeal123 welcome and congratulations! Same I’m already having to rethink my wardrobe, wasn’t expecting to do this so early on. And yes with the dreams! Also having them particularly last night..
boobs starting to hurt when people hug me now 😅
