Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

I am 🙈 I've got one FRER left that I'm doing tomorrow. I bought a cheap digital too. I'm going to try and stop though as interpreting the line darkness progression is enough to drive anyone mad.

I just feel nauseous at the moment. And constantly on pants watch.

Morning all, been reading for a while too nervous to join! But not sure when I'll ever feel confident so we'll see. Got my BFP at 8dpo on 1st August, and had a 2-3 weeks test yesterday so keeping fingers crossed it stays. First baby, we've been trying for 7 months and had one CP. Current due date of mid April 😊
Huge congrats to everyone!

Badassbreastfeeder85 · 09/08/2022 09:55

I'm just so conviced this pregnancy won't stick,I'm off work till 1st September so not easy not to sit and dwell, waiting 12 weeks os going to be so hard but don't think I cam afford an early test like with my first 😞

dappledsunbeams · 09/08/2022 10:02

I’ve just booked my booking appointment and they’re going to send me a letter in the post with the time and date! Feels like I can’t wait that long!

ancienthouse · 09/08/2022 10:03

@simplythequest I think I'll wait until I'm past 6 weeks at least, maybe 8 weeks once I've had a viability scan. I feel really weird, like I don't really believe it. I'm trying not to think about it too much and take each day as it comes.

dappledsunbeams · 09/08/2022 10:03

@Badassbreastfeeder85 Is that how long you have to wait before they test you?

Luthien28 · 09/08/2022 10:09

Hi all, been reading through the thread and surprised to see how many of you have very similar experiences to myself!

Recently got my bfp after a CP in Jan and a MMC in June but i'm really apprehensive and can't bring myself to get excited because I'm so scared something will go wrong again :(

I booked a private 8 week scan last night but i'm sooo nervous😣

J1290 · 09/08/2022 10:46

Booked a 7 weeks scan just incase
rechecked my fainter test deffo as dark as yesterday
need to stop and just concentration'

J1290 · 09/08/2022 11:47

@Luthien28 nervous too!

Longbin · 09/08/2022 11:52

@Luthien28 I'm really anxious too, but I was in my other pregnancies before I miscarried too, so I think it's just how I am throughout.

I already have scans scheduled for 6 1/2 (private), 8 (hospital) and 10 1/2 weeks (harmony).

Nervous about every single one, especially the first one 😫 I go between just wanting to get it over with and dreading it.

misslomi · 09/08/2022 09:01

I've just got my blood test results back and I'm still pregnant! I've never felt so relieved 😆

How is everyone else feeling this morning?

@misslomi yaaaaay!! How far along are you? X

misslomi · 09/08/2022 12:04

@NiceToChat88 I'm so excited now! Can't think of anything else!

According to Flo I'm 6 weeks and 3 days!

How are you getting on?

alwaysseeingstars · 09/08/2022 12:40

@Longbin I recall speaking to you on a different thread a while ago - so happy for you that you got your BFP! Congrats 🥰

Luthien28 · 09/08/2022 13:03

@Longbin I completely sympathise with you! I'm dreading my 12 week scan at the hospital 😥

I hope everything goes well for you 🙏

Loopylou777 · 09/08/2022 13:06

I'm eagerly awaiting an amazon delivery of more tests so I can check again. Stupidly used 2 one after the other yesterday and getting a faint line 🙈

Longbin · 09/08/2022 13:16

@alwaysseeingstars hello! Glad you have your BFP too! I think it was the April thread?

SearchingTheSkies · 09/08/2022 13:25

Hello and congratulations to all the recent joiners. Exciting to see due dates into the second half of April now. How's everyone feeling?

I've been feeling increasingly sick over the last couple of days and had to vomit this morning for the first time. I put all this down to typical pregnancy morning sickness. However, I've had a really sore tummy the past week or so due to bloating. Then just earlier today I went to the loo (sorry TMI!) and the bloating has subsequently eased significantly. That was about an hour ago, and I've felt 100 times better since, with no nausea at all. So now I'm wondering if my 'sickness' was just caused by my tummy troubles rather than being actual pregnancy sickness. Just wondering if anyone had experienced similar or had any thoughts?

CinderellaFant · 09/08/2022 13:29

I've got my letter in for my booking appointment and 12 week scan, in mid September. Seems so far away. I was also told the last time I had a miscarriage to phone the EPU if I get pregnant again and they will scan me however I'm really putting that off.
Last time I got a private early scan at 7 weeks and they couldn't see much, brought me back 10 days later and said all looked great however due to the position of my cervix they couldn't detect a heartbeat, however baby was measuring exactly right and had grown so much since the last scan. They said they would send me to EPU the following day to get them to scan to see the heartbeat for reassurance. I felt so relived and went out that afternoon and bought a tiny white babygrow. Next day I went to the EPU excited to see baby, only to be told that the reason they couldn't see a heartbeat is because there wasn't one, baby had died. I was totally in denial, and was sure they had made a mistake- only the day before I was told it was all good and measuring perfect!

EPU gave me an appointment to come back the following week for a rescan and that was an awful week, I was so anxious and teary. When I went back for the second EPU scan, there was no growth and no heartbeat and I passed the baby naturally the following week.

I'm really putting off the EPU scan this time, as I don't want the same limbo, I don't want to go and them to say it's a bit early/ can't see much and make me come back in a week. It will just seem like history repeating itself. I'm hoping to hold off until 9 weeks or so and I'll contact them for a scan then. At least at that gestation, they should definitely be able to tell if things are ok or not.

alwaysseeingstars · 09/08/2022 13:30

@Longbin I think so yes! do I recall you were about to start clomid?
Thanks, at 4+5 today so am an absolute bundle of nerves that it's not going to last! But got a very strong dye stealer (not that I knew what it was haha, luckily the lovely ladies told me!) this morning so trying to keep positive :)
@SearchingTheSkies I'm not sure but my friend definitely had very odd changes with her digestive system in early pregnancy, and had a healthy baby boy recently!
@Loopylou777 hope your tests arrive soon!!

faithtrustandpixiedust · 09/08/2022 13:39

@SearchingTheSkies Also had sickness for the first time this morning, I've had nausea for weeks now but this morning when I woke I had to run to the bathroom. I didn't have any sickness with DD just nausea so I'm hoping this isn't the start.

Longbin · 09/08/2022 14:39

@alwaysseeingstars luckily the clomid worked first month! Should have just done that in the first place 🙄

I did so many tests at the start even when the line was pretty dark, I've now stopped myself doing any more and waiting for my scan

Loopylou777 · 09/08/2022 14:47

Just done a test. Very faint. At 14dpo (est) I would imagine it would be a dark line. I cant help but feel this is a chemical that will end in miscarriage. Same as last year.
