Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

@limoncelloo that’s very exciting! Do you have a pic? Would love to see what they look like at this stage.

my scan is on Wednesday at 6+1 and super nervous. Very exciting that some of us are getting to the stage where you can actually see something on a scan though!

Saribon · 06/08/2022 12:53

@41andtryingforfirst hi lovely, I hope your okay I’ve tried to read recent posts but I’m working today and the stupid phone keeps ringing! How inconsiderate people wanting me to do my job 🤣

JP3264 · 06/08/2022 17:32

Hi all,
Went for a (internal) scan today at 6 weeks. Gestational sac of 9.3mm but no yolk sac. I'm certain on dates so it's not looking good. Have to go back for a scan in 10 days to confirm what's happening.

Will be taking a break from the forum til then, but best wishes to everyone here. Really hope it works out for you all x

Wouldloveanother · 06/08/2022 17:47

So sorry @JP3264

hoping there is some good news for you soon xx

Longbin · 06/08/2022 17:54

Sorry @JP3264 hope it's good news in 10 days and it was just a little early x

41andtryingforfirst · 06/08/2022 17:55

@JP3264 hopefully all will be well at your next scan. Thinking of you x

Thanks everyone. I guess even if it doesn't work out, this is at least further than I've got before. A sign that it is possible.
Best wishes x

User154871 · 06/08/2022 19:31

@limoncelloo that's great!

@JP3264 I hope you get better news in ten days. Fingers crossed for you.

@Wouldloveanother Got total brain fog. I'm shattered constantly and feel guilty because DD isn't getting as much attention at the moment! Luckily DH has stepped up.

3rdtimelucky2022 · 06/08/2022 19:39

Definite brain fog here and feel in a rubbish mood - been quite easily annoyed by my children today! I think it’s probably hormones, bad sleep and anxiety causing it!

NiceToChat88 · 07/08/2022 07:16

Morning

I'm quite late to the party but does anyone mind if I join? I'm very early on at 4 and a bit weeks due second week of April. A few twinges and tugging and feeling very hungry!! The pay two days I've also had very light brown discharge when I wipe, not sure if this is normal implantation bleeding or if I should contact EPU? Did anyone have this? I have a pad in to monitor it but it's not discharge as such, it's only really when I wipe. No major cramps etc just the usual twinges.

OttilieKnackered · 07/08/2022 08:04

@NiceToChat88 I’ve not had brown discharge (not even when I’d had a miscarriage, which shows how variable things can be), but I know from many threads on here that it’s really common and doesn’t necessarily mean anything bad. I think EPU would probably just tell you to monitor at such an early stage anyway.

OttilieKnackered · 07/08/2022 08:05

ps. I’m 4+2 so we’re on a very similar trajectory!

misslomi · 07/08/2022 08:22

Can I join please?

Had a bit of a scary journey so far. I have spent all week wfh as I've felt sick and tired, didn't even think I could be pregnant. On Thursday night I passed a blood clot, freaked me out so went and got a test first thing Friday which came out positive. Very shocked but overall wonderful news, now panicking about the bleeding.

Spoke to my doctors who have sent me for blood tests, had 1 yesterday now waiting for the other tomorrow.

No more bleeding since but a little bit of dark brown spotting. Symptoms have worsened since positive test, feel really sick first thing, knackered and now got sore boobs but also some cramping.

Just want to know what is going on, the wait is awful!

Hi all, I’m hoping to join as well if that’s ok.
I’ve been reading all the comments and it’s lovely to see people due at the same time as myself
I found out last week I’m pregnant, 5+2 now. It was unplanned and the father is still deciding whether he wants to be involved or not.

I’m just trying to focus on keeping the baby healthy as I know I’m so lucky to fall pregnant

This is my first pregnancy. Hope everyone is doing ok

@OttilieKnackered thank you lovely! You've confirmed what I was thinking so I'll just keep an eye on things. Again, no cramps or pain so I'm hoping it's maybe just a bit of implantation or my body adjusting to things. It's only when I wipe so obviously very little.

How are you feeling? Do you have many symptoms? X

OttilieKnackered · 07/08/2022 09:31

@NiceToChat88 no worries! Not a lot so far. Slightly big/sore boobs. Very mild nausea on and off. One of my meals yesterday tasted very strange. And I’ve noticed a slight breathlessness. But pretty much feeling fine. I’m trying to be very relaxed after a MMC a year ago but it’s hard not to over analyse!

Wouldloveanother · 07/08/2022 16:35

Congrats to the new members 🥳

I have just woken up on the sofa after a spontaneous 2 HOUR nap 💤 safe to say the fatigue has kicked in… and I got 8 hours sleep last night 😬

Chocolat · 07/08/2022 18:21

Hi all, hope it’s ok for me to join.
Due date is 4th April for me, going to be 6 weeks on Tuesday.
Had some spotting 4 days before af was due for a few days which stopped.
Feel slightly nauseous occasionally and very sore boobs.
Wondering when the morning sickness will kick in, I’ve heard from 6 weeks for some but I know it’s different for everyone.
Good luck everyone xx

Wouldloveanother · 07/08/2022 21:04

Congrats chocolat! Morning sickness generally strikes around 6 or 7 weeks - and is worse if you’re carrying a girl as you get increased HCG (fact!). When I was carrying DD I was sick as a dog from 6 to 23ish(!) weeks.

my sense of smell is really heightening, I just fake tanned my legs and arms and the smell is really overpowering and making me feel a bit ill 😷 normally I love the smell! I remember walking round the supermarket when pregnant with DD and being able to smell every other person’s perfume/washing powder… mad

I've just got a positive today, and I've not told anyone in real life yet,so I'm telling strangers on the Internet!
