Hi lovelies
Here's my update. I spent the whole DAY at the hospital (plus last night in A and E 😢).
So as you know, EPU went well. This entire pregnancy I've bled and cramped throughout yet this little bean has still been growing. I hope that helps to reassure anyone who is spotting. I'm still taking things one day at a time as things could change but for now all good. I've got my six week scan next Monday. I should see a heartbeat hopefully at that scan.
Then I went to ante-natal. I was there for AGES as my carbon monoxide test keeps flashing red even though neither I or my husband smoke?? Anyway I've now got to inject myself with blood thinners daily. And it bloody hurts for ages after you inject it. Still, it'll be worth it. It was awesome getting to walk into ante-natal - it's my first time. Last pregnancy I only got as far as EPU. So it felt like another milestone achieved 😊
What an emotional rollercoaster this time is eh?
@Saribon I'm so sorry. I'm so glad you have your partner's love and support through this time. We will still all be here for you and I'd love to learn how things progress for you! Sending baby dust your way lovely.
@Loz365 try not to panic - look at miss bleedy mcbleederson here!! 😂. I've had blood all colours of the rainbow and baby is still hanging on for now. If you're really nervous then just tell EPU that there has been more than just a little bit. They should scan you then but in my area you have to go to your GP first. It might put your mind at ease just to go and get examined by the GP as if they tell you your cervix is closed then you know things are ok. Even if you just go to the GP that might help manage your anxiety whilst you're waiting for more news.
Just going to finish cooking dinner and I'll comment more in a bit xx
