Babies due April 2023

Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

@Wouldloveanother congratulations! I'm only 4+2 yet it feels like I found out months ago.

I haven't told family yet but I've had to tell a few friends as I've been at events where it's obvious if I'm not drinking. I think we will tell family after an early scan but we haven't decided how to do it yet

Hi everyone congrats on all your bfp’s , I’ve been lurking for a few days , done a test last Sunday the day my period was due and it was a very strong positive , done another Tuesday just to double check lol and that was very strong too , so I’m 5 weeks today and my calculations say 2nd April will be due date , I have 3 children already youngest is 9 so this feels all new to me , so much has changed in 10 years but I’m an anxious mess thinking something is wrong as my 9 year old test results came back as 1-151 so I was 1 out from being high risk , midwives said I’d have more chance of miscarrying from having an amino than having a baby with a trisomy so I didn’t do any further testing ,I had extra scans that checked for markers etc but I just didn’t relax my whole pregnancy which took all enjoyment away , he was born totally healthy the day after his due date but because of that result 10 years ago I’m now really concerned of how high my risk could be this time round so seriously considering the harmony test , does anyone know if you are offered it on the nhs being older or do you have to wait to see what your nuchal comes back as ? Being my last baby I’d like to just relax and enjoy every moment , thank you for reading and sorry for first post being so long.

Hi everyone- can I join! Just got my BFP today! Had a missed miscarriage in January and been trying ever since. Delighted to get my BFP today but also very nervous. 🌈

@Ginmonkey84 this is also dc4 for me and I'm also due 6th April! What a coincidence lol

Looks like I'm out. Had more brown blood, which has turned pink overnight. I've got more period like cramps. So I'm expecting to bleed more soon. The digital I took this morning only said 1-2 so it hasn't progressed. And the other test I took was faint. For my mental health I probably won't continue to follow the thread, good luck to everyone.

Update - they sent me home. They said they can't do a scan at A and E so they're going to see me at EPU later this morning. The red blood seems to have tailed off this morning so don't know what to think. I'm at the same stage I was when the last MC happened in May. I don't know if I'm freaking out over nothing or if I'm right to be concerned. They wouldn't examine me at A and E so no idea if cervix is open or closed.

@36and4th are you ok? Thinking of you x

@41andtryingforfirst I hope you are okay. I'm sorry A&E weren't much help. Hopefully EPU will be able to help you this morning and that the red blood means nothing. Sending lots of hope and thinking of you xx

I'm okay. Confused. I've got a pad on but it's dry. It seems to have slowed, but I really don't know what to think. The test results this morning haven't given me much hope, and my local EPU won't see anyone before 6 weeks, so I'm just waiting to see what happens. I didn't bleed at all through my eldest or the twins, so this is new to me. When I MC in 2016 this is how it started, so it's the way I'm expecting it to go. Just gonna keep distracted :)

I bled all through night no heavier or lighter just persistent. I stopped this morning though

I did the other FRER test and the line was the same as yesterday

I’m booked in for bloods at 1pm

Please send your positive thoughts my way and to everyone of us struggling. Hoping we all get through the first trimester hurdle 😘

Oh no @41andtryingforfirst I thought you were out of the woods. In my mind you were

Try and stay positive as you have been for others. My partner has been away and i hadn’t told him what was happening so I’d been on my own. He came home early morning and my bleeding slowed to an almost stop at the same time. I am sure his presence calmed me and relaxed me and his beautiful positive mindset has had an impact.

We can all get through this. All my positive thoughts are will us all and when I’m doing my little mind begging sessions (cos I’m not religious and don’t pray) I’ll include you all!

Keep in touch and please rest and take care. I’ve took the day sick and I hate doing it but this is more important. I have to do community visits and I don’t want to be in peoples houses if Im at risk of heavy bleeding and also I just want to rest so i might even take a few days if I need them.

How is everyone else today? I just want the days to hurry up, I feel like every day goes by so slowly. Trying my best to keep distracted from my anxiety but it's hard! How is everyone else coping? X

@limoncelloo I am just counting down the days until my early scan which is awful really as I still have ages left. I was like this throughout both my other pregnancies though, probably even worse the first time around, for the whole 9 months. I think I've just resigned myself to the fact I'm going to be an anxious and time will really drag for the entirety! Have you found anything that helps with the anxiety?

Hey everyone- still at hospital and got to wait to see consultant.

A very quick update and I'll respond to messages in more detail later...

There's a 1mm baby, a gestation sac and a yolk sac in the right place! There's still bleeding and I'm not out of the woods yet, but for now it's positive.

I'm so glad the news is good @41andtryingforfirst and I hope it all continues to go well. @Saribon and @36and4th thinking of you both.
I have some cramping, and I was convinced last night I'd start bleeding but I haven't thankfully. I took a test this morning and it had a really strong positive so that gives me some hope to hold on to and I'm going to see my Dr on Thursday. According to Flo I'm 4 weeks and 5 days, and had a mc last year at 5 weeks so I feel like the next few days will be really important.
