Hi all

Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

@limoncelloo - outstanding article! Thanks so much for sharing. You have literally just transformed by day and mindset.

@Ginmonkey84 congrats and welcome!

I got my 3+ at 4 weeks 5 days and HCG of 1426 at 4 weeks 4 days.

It's strange because we all panic about different things, I think no matter what we worry.

We worry about not having that 3+, but then having an early one or high HCG could be a sign of a molar pregnancy, twins etc.

I keep worrying because I feel a lot of discharge but apparently this is a good thing?

limoncelloo · 31/07/2022 11:02

@41andtryingforfirst 🥳

Great article isn't it!

You're blood tests are going well and think of that as being the most medically sound way of knowing how things are ❤️

limoncelloo · 31/07/2022 11:03

Sorry for all the messages this morning but also- does anyone know much about progesterone levels or those of us who have had bloods have you're been checked?

Mine were 46.5nmol/l at 4w3d... does anyone else have theirs?

Ginmonkey84 · 31/07/2022 11:03

@Saribon its so hard, thinking if you and hopefully the EPU can get to see you tomorrow. I’m hoping everything is just perfect and it’s just things settling in.

41andtryingforfirst · 31/07/2022 11:05

@limoncelloo and @3rdtimelucky2022 have you tried Milo? A friend of mine used it in pregnancy as they had a low BMI. If you have it with blue milk it can help add extra calories. They've removed Vitamin A from it and it's got minimal caffeine (within the safe limit) as long as you don't have too many. Maybe worth a look? X

@limoncelloo yes I got mine last Tuesday when I was 4 +3. Mine was 55.6 x

@limoncelloo Thank you and yes hopefully things might be ok. We will see, I am being cautiously optimistic. Hope you are feeling ok?

That link isn’t working for me. Can someone try posting it again please ?

Absolutely, I hate pregnancy testing.

I’ve just cancelled my digital Amazon order. It just puts so much stress on everything. I’ve had enough loss to know it can come from nowhere and it’s completely out of my control. Keeping focus on my scan in a couple of weeks. That’s always a good indication for me personally how things will go.

Ginmonkey84 · 31/07/2022 11:28

Perfect yes that’s working now.

limoncelloo · 31/07/2022 12:11

From today on I'm going to swear to doing no more pregnancy tests (if anyone else wants to join feel free 🙃)
My tests are so strong now that they are total dye stealers. I fear if I keep testing I'm going to worry myself if they don't stay as dark or get lighter.
I'm just going to rely on my blood tests now and try and look forward to my scan next week! I might book another one for 8 weeks all going well. Hopefully that will ease my anxiety a bit x

Saribon · 31/07/2022 15:20

@Ginmonkey84 I missed your message earlier. Thank you so much for your kind words.

Today is a killer I’m swinging from hope to despair

Bleeding seems to have slowed but I did take a bath and that can stem bleeding a bit sometimes so it might just be that . My boobs aren’t hurting at all now so I’m back to convinced it’s all over. Any of you ladies who have had bleeding had other symptoms fluctuate?

xx

41andtryingforfirst · 31/07/2022 16:39

@Saribon I haven't had any sore boobness since the bleeding stopped - just bloatedness and I know my HCG is rising so it might just be one of those things where symptoms come and go x

OP posts:
tulipsunday · 31/07/2022 16:43

Hope you are ok @Saribon glad the bleeding has slowed. I find cramps and boob pain come and go so don't think that is necessarily a bad sign.

Saribon · 31/07/2022 17:22

Thanks both!! I keep getting hot flushes now but don’t if it’s just because it’s warm 🤪 I don’t have a thermometer to check my temp. Roll on tomorrow and let’s hope EPU can see me

36and4th · 31/07/2022 18:35

Just had some brown spotting :( And I feel like period cramps. I'm 5+1 today. Don't really know what to think. Just hope that it clears away and there isn't much more to come.

I have been reading through the thread, just haven't had a chance to reply much because I've been on nights this weekend. I hope to catch up real soon

41andtryingforfirst · 31/07/2022 18:54

@36and4th mines just started again after having none for the past two days. I'm 5 +1 too x

@41andtryingforfirst It's good that they seem to be taking the antibodies seriously (but of course dreadful that it's taken a loss to get to that point).

I've just tested positive for ACL antibodies through the IVF clinic and they're putting me on Inhixa injections for the first trimester. I'm also worried that when it gets to the NHS part of treatment they will be too relaxed about it (this is my first pregnancy at 39 so no evidence either way if it's going to be a problem).

Hope it all goes well at the appt.

Loz365 · 31/07/2022 19:03

@Saribon sorry you're going through such a stressful time. I hope you get some answers tomorrow 💐

This is such a stressful time. A lot more stressful than I anticipated. I had cramps for the first week which have now disappeared pretty much, my boobs are still sore and I feel bloated but the constant changing symptoms is messing with my head. Counting down the days to our early scan on 12th august! 🫠

Wouldloveanother · 31/07/2022 20:29

Hi ladies. Sorry some of you are having a stressful time 😞 early pregnancy is a bit of an odd time, you think you’ll be all YAY when you get those 2 lines but it’s actually quite an uncertain time, it feels like the start of a few hurdles to get over. I hope you all get some clarity soon.

I’m only 3+4! I have 26/27 day cycles so not even due to miss my period for another couple of days. I feel much the same as with DD - no PMS symptoms or sore boobs, but feeling a bit ‘off’ and tired/dizzy. The lines are looking pretty strong now so I think it’s time to stop testing and try to relax.

has anyone told family/friends yet?

41andtryingforfirst · 31/07/2022 20:36

@JP3264 thank you - I'll let you know how it goes. I hope things go ok for you. I've had to really push (both in this pregnancy and the last one) to get things moving. I'm not impressed with my local NHS Trust. The departments operate too separately from each other and I keep getting lost in the system between EPU, Ante-Natal, rheumatology and the community midwife x
