Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

Pleased others have said about bloating. I was thinking I "shouldn't" be buying new jeans at 7 weeks!

They already feel tight so I've ordered jeggings (I live in jeans!). New bras to be ordered too!

Wosie26 · 26/07/2022 09:56

Hi Guys,

Hope it is ok to join. Found out yesterday I am pregnant with my second and should be due 28th March.
Hope everyone is feeling ok!

mariabombia · 26/07/2022 10:43

I feel like ive been bloated since finding out 😂 living in leggings and baggy tops already !! If I wear jeans they feel so uncomfortable and I have to undo the top button 🤷‍♀️

Little update soooo I wrote on here last week about my early scan which said baby was measuring two weeks smaller what I thought. Still sooo confused as when I've read up about this people have said they must have ovulated later, however I thought the dating was from lmp not ovulation so how is when you ovulated relevant to the dating of the baby? If someone could explain this clearly to me I'd really appreciate it!!

Anyhoo baby had a heart beat at what sonographer thought was 5 & 4 so I feel really reassured about that ❤️ I have my booking app next when when I'll technically be 10 weeks according to lmp (8 if we're going from the scan) so hopefully that will be a really reassuring experience.

Having quite a lot of sickness the last few weeks ! How's everyone else getting on??

JB2021 · 26/07/2022 10:50

@mariabombia glad it's not just me with the jeans! Ordered some jeggings as I live in jeans normally!

Rainbowbaby23 · 26/07/2022 13:09

Does anyone have any holidays booked? Before I found out I was pregnant me, my partner and another couple have booked to go to Ibiza of all places for 3 nights. Ill only be 13 weeks when we’re planning in going. Obviously I’ll not be drinking or anything but not sure how the other couple will react? We have said from the start it’s going to be a chill holiday anyway and not a big party holiday but not sure how I feel about going now, but it could also be my last holiday for a while and my first one since covid😂

TeddyBeans · 26/07/2022 13:32

@Rainbowbaby23 I've just come back from a week in Turkey. It was lovely to just relax by (and in) the pools. We stayed on a resort and it had everything we needed. Enjoy your holiday!

MountainMummy95 · 26/07/2022 13:39

Hello!! Just found this thread. Mind if I join? I'm due around 4th March, which puts me at 8 weeks 3 days :) this is baby no2... my first dd is 18months old.

Can anyone remind me when I'm supposed to have heard from a midwife? I cant remember what happened with my first... plus, she was a Covid baby so it could have been very different to normal.

Pinklady81 · 26/07/2022 14:06

@Rainbowbaby23 me too I'm going away in 3 weeks ish and I'll be 11 weeks and a little bit worried I'm sure everything will be fine x

Kt12344 · 26/07/2022 14:17

I had an early scan yesterday at EPU due to spotting, they couldn't see anything on the scan but my HCG levels are at 3760. Has anyone had anything similar where they had High levels but nothing on the scan? X

Perexi · 26/07/2022 14:36

Just got my first midwife appointment through for 25th August when I'll be around 10 weeks. Apparently the appointment will take around 2 hour's any ideas what this entails? It's my first (finger crossed) so no clue

Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels · 26/07/2022 15:54

@Rainbowbaby23 I've got an all inclusive holiday booked for September, going to be a different experience sober 🤣 and first holiday abroad with a toddler. Pretty sure I'll need a holiday to recover.

@MountainMummy95 congrats! Have you filled in the forms online? I know it's different for diff areas but usually the booking in appointment is between 8-12 weeks.

@Kt12344 I've not been through anything similar, did they say they'd rescan? How far gone are you?

@Perexi from memory they chat through your family history, maybe Dona urine sample if it's in person and answer any questions you have. My first was only 20 mins though, have they given you anything to fill out pre the appointment?

I forgot how slowllllly these first weeks go. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow but it feels like I've known for months 😂

Kt12344 · 26/07/2022 15:55

@Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels thank you for replying, I have another scan and blood test tomorrow I should be 7 weeks 4 days x

Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels · 26/07/2022 16:09

@Kt12344 I hope it all goes ok. I think the blood test will probably tell you more with your HCG levels.

Kt12344 · 26/07/2022 16:10

@Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels Thank you I think so too x

Ah Thanks! Nope nothing to fill out just says it will take around 2 hours! I thought it was going to be a phone call from a previous email but it's at the hospital so I guess they might do a urine or bloods maybe.

Noodle20 · 26/07/2022 16:40

@Perexi I had mine last week and was just under 90mins. Mine consisted of a very lengthy medial questionnaire, bloods, urine, blood pressure, height and weight checks. They went through all the upcoming appointments etc.

TeddyBeans · 26/07/2022 17:22

@Perexi had mine yesterday and it's like the other ladies have said, lots of health/history questions, bloods, urine sample etc. Nothing too taxing but just takes a while.

@MountainMummy95 congratulations! Around now really, you'll probably be able to find the info on your GP surgery website

LittleAcorn20 · 26/07/2022 17:48

I'm 8+1 and bored of waiting for my appointment dates to come through 😴
Anyone else?
I just want the dates in my calendar now! So impatient!

LittleAcorn20 · 26/07/2022 17:49

@Kt12344 hoping all goes well for you tomorrow

Babynum2 · 26/07/2022 18:34

@Rainbowbaby23 we are off to majorca for 4 nights kid free was going to be boozy but now a chilled one and then taking kide cyprus for a week in oct i dont think id go away after 6months so im glad its no later than that!

Babynum2 · 26/07/2022 18:37

@Perexi it will be mainly medical history on both sides ect but as its first baby might be a bit less time as they wont need to know details of previous births ect ahh i remember first booking app how exciting for you (gets a bit boring when itd your 3rd) x

allthingssparkly · 26/07/2022 19:17

Leggings and baggy tops for the foreseeable, the bloating is real at nearly 8 weeks 😩

I have felt nauseous on and off all day, nothing seems to help so it looks like I'll be speaking with my gp about anti sickness meds 😓 also feeling super chesty, shivery and achy this evening trying to keep warm in bed, have zero energy 😴

Handmaid2019 · 26/07/2022 20:20

@Kt12344 hope your scan goes okay tomorrow. I'm in a very similar position I'm 7 weeks 5 days, started bleeding on Sunday before my private scan and there is no embryo, only a sac which would date me 5 weeks. I've got a scan tomorrow on the early pregnancy unit.

My morning sickness is horrific, constant nausea and vomiting several times a day. Been to my GP today and I've got some cyclizine, I did have to beg for it, she was reluctant to prescribe it.

Babynum2 · 26/07/2022 20:28

@Handmaid2019i am on 2 different types of meds for my sickness so if that doesnt work make sure they up it! Good luck

Kt12344 · 26/07/2022 20:43

@Handmaid2019 it's so confusing! They could see anything at all on mine, I've had a really bad headache all afternoon not sure if this is something to do with it, good luck for tomorrow x
