Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

I would be 6 weeks this Friday based on my LMP but doing the NHS calculator including my cycle length of 34 days it takes me back a week basically 😢 so NHS calc says I'm 5 weeks today!

Aww exciting! I'm really tempted to book a private scan! Will ease my nerves!

Markygirl1995 · 20/07/2022 21:37

@3isthemagicnumb3r found it! 😂

Markygirl1995 · 20/07/2022 21:38

Hi everyone I’m Becky, I only gave birth to my second 9 months ago!!! I’m unprepared for 2 under 2. I’ve got a scan in 2 weeks time to check the gestation although I definitely know we conceived this one after watching Adele at Hyde park 😳😂 hope it sticks!! Hope all our babies stick!

Mrs2022 · 20/07/2022 22:00

Hi @Markygirl1995 congratulations! I'm in the same boat as you. My baby no 3 turned one recently and will be 20 months when this one arrives. It's Good to have them grow up together! ☺️.

Markygirl1995 · 20/07/2022 21:37

@3isthemagicnumb3r found it! 😂

Hahaha waves

Markygirl1995 · 20/07/2022 22:02

@Mrs2022 congratulations! Are you worried about having 2 under 2? It’s scaring me a little!

Mrs2022 · 20/07/2022 22:05

I've always had 2 under 2. This time I'll have 4 under 5 🙈😂. My first two have 2 years and 4 days between them. When the second was born I found it easier actually than the first because I was in routine and used to packing bags for going out. And didn't overthink things as much. They're almost 5 and 3 now and are the best of friends !

Markygirl1995 · 20/07/2022 22:24

@Mrs2022 oh gosh you’re a super mummy! I’ve got a 3 year old and 9 month both October babies a week apart so I’m grateful to be heavily pregnant over the winter months I wouldn’t of been able to cope in this heat as well as being in the second or third trimester 😳 well that positive to know with the age gap I just hope my eldest won’t feel left out x

Sandcastles24 · 20/07/2022 22:26

@Mrs2022 wow 4 under 5s that is more than a handful

Sandcastles24 · 20/07/2022 22:27

I have had my early scan and they are measuring 7 weeks rather than the 8 I was expecting. I don't think I got my dates wrong. Is this OK and a normal difference?
We saw the heartbeat and it all looked ok

Sandcastles24 · 20/07/2022 22:28

The time difference just keeps playing on my mind

Askinforabaskin · 20/07/2022 22:33

@HR2022 how exciting!

i was initially delighted but started to get a bit nervous the more reading up I have been doing as I have a higher BMI so I’ve jumped on the healthy eating wagon

I’ve also been having very mild but not painful cramps for the last few days. I have an appointment with my gp on Monday so i will bring it up then.

have you had any symptoms?

Mrs2022 · 20/07/2022 22:36

@Markygirl1995 this will be my first time heavily pregnant over winter months too and looking forward to it. My other three are July and September! Your oldest will be at a good age to feel involved and be able to help with the new baby!

@Sandcastles24 this one will definitely be the last lol

Markygirl1995 · 20/07/2022 22:59

@Sandcastles24 i wouldn’t worry some weeks they develop more than others may be that come your 12 week scan baby would have caught up!

@Mrs2022 aw bless you, yay for us! We can have a relaxing time I hope! I haven’t had any symptoms as of yet but still early days for me my daughter was the worst when carrying her. Hoping for a plain sailing pregnancy this time. I hope he will at the moment he’s saying his sister is his best friend but he does have his moments too 😂

Choc2022 · 21/07/2022 02:55

BFP 2 days ago!! 1st and 33 years old! Honestly have no idea what to do, all so overwhelming. Ive downloaded a bunch of apps so thats helped and ive 'self referred' to maternity services. Im trying to read up on do's and don't's abd what to eat etc. Anyone want to do this journey together? If so any ideas how? My expected date is end of march.

Symptoms: heavy breathing and breathlessness, cramps/ pain in front of stomach (which woke me up) and just so so so tired!!

AK93 · 21/07/2022 06:25

I'm 29 and first time I've been pregnant!
I got positive tests (I tried different types to be sure!) on 16th July and almost daily since as I am so desperate and anxious for everything to be all good!! The lines are generally getting stronger which relaxes me.
Current due date is estimated 20 March 2023

I did the online self-referral form after GP surgery said it's all online and they don't deal with maternity. Have my booking appointnent mid august.

I don't have much space on my phone for apps but have joined a few email lists and joined here as I feel there's just no support anywhere else for these early weeks when you're all mixed up with emotions of being excited yet anxious.

Sypmtoms: particularly tired, gassy (didn't expect this one!!) I had discomfort on the left side for a day or two but disappeared after the gas got out and it's been ok since so far (not sure if it was that though), burping, little bit of heartburn, on/off nausea (could be nerves though!) Sensitive nipples but not constantly. (Almost all symptoms are on/off so I panic that I'm not experiencing them enough!)

Anyone with a higher BMI know how you know if you could need the higher dose of folic acid? I assume blood test but that won't be for a while yet. I could ask my GP but as they don't help with maternity I don't know if they'll do it and I haven't met the midwives at the surgery that does yet.

Markygirl1995 · 21/07/2022 07:15

@AK93 hey congratulations your estimated due date is the same as mine. Symptoms are the same to apart from nausea. Most of the time I don’t actually feel pregnant at all! i have a high BMI I’m taking 5mg of folic which is what I was taking wi the my last pregnancy. I would just take your pregnancy vitamins now and when you see the midwife she may prescribe you some high dosage.

BecT · 21/07/2022 08:37

Anyone else due at the very end of March, and they’ve just found out they’re pregnant? I’m 15DPO today! :) by my dates, my EDD is 29th March.

Also, these are my tests from today and yesterday - I’m so paranoid they’re not dark enough!? I’m guessing cheapies aren’t great for showing progression. X

fox171020 · 21/07/2022 11:00

Hi!

I got my BFP yesterday. Took a test on a bit of a whim as I found one and got a strong positive. However, it’s only been two weeks since my LMP. Has this ever happened to anyone before? With how strong the positive was it’s really hard for me to work out when I would have actually conceived.

Markygirl1995 · 21/07/2022 12:01

@fox171020 not heard of that before if I’m honest not to say it can’t happen. Have you maybe spoken to your GP to refer for a dating scan just in case you could be further on? I have heard woman can still get bleeding within pregnancy and confuse it with there monthly? X

mummyofrb · 21/07/2022 14:20

How is everyone?? I've been feeling a bit nauseous, just counting down days until I can have an 8 week scan to see if everything is ok! I'm 5+5 today going from first day of last period. Glad I've got abit of nausea so I know things are hopefully going in the right direction this time🤞🌈

Hann111 · 21/07/2022 14:46

Hi all
how is everyone?
I am doing ok but have some spotting. I think I should be 8 weeks now… I don’t have many symptoms! I might book in another scan as a heart rate was detected 2 weeks ago - I feel like time is going so slowly!
x

Markygirl1995 · 21/07/2022 14:52

@mummyofrb hey! Congestion’s you’re not far off from me I’m 5+3 at the moment I’m just really agitated moody, sensitive nip nops, hungry all the time not good for my high bmi, little bit fatigue and needing to pee more frequently more than I usually do on a normal day. I’ve got scan booked 2 weeks Wednesday I hope school holidays makes the first trimester go quicker!

@Hann111 hey hun, if you’re worried you can call the EPU and they will get you in for a scan for your reassurance. Im sure everything is ok though spotting in the first trimester can be normal x

Markygirl1995 · 21/07/2022 14:53

@mummyofrb congratulations ** 🫠😂

Missy95 · 21/07/2022 14:53

Hi all, jumping on from another post!
Ive been TTC for around 19/20 months, 1 tfmr and 1 early mc in between.
Got my BFP today at around 4 weeks 5 days. I had pink spotting earlier in the week and thought it was AF coming! Sore boobs and super tired,m. I was apprehensive to test, but went for it! Shocked to see a dye stealer!!!

Due around 25th March, hoping all goes well 🥰
