Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

I am due on the 28th of March 2023. Only found out yesterday and have been getting very period like cramps and sometimes feel quite intense. Did anyone else on here experience this?

Mrs2022 · 19/07/2022 18:20

Hi @Bonjoirmadme is this your first? I remember with my first I had period type cramps every evening for 3 to 4 weeks. I think it is everything stretching and making room for your little one.

Bonjoirmadme · 19/07/2022 18:22

This is my 2nd. The first one I had some cramps but not like this or maybe I don’t remember very well. Thanks for messaging back!

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 19/07/2022 18:23

@Perexi it definitely still hasn’t sunk in, contemplating booking an early private scan as I think that’s the only way it will feel real!

@Bonjoirmadme ive had the same today, done so much googling and it’s pretty common so I’m not worried. I’ve seen loads of places say that implantation cramping can be so similar to period cramping so try not to worry

JB2021 · 19/07/2022 18:41

@G0ldfinch ooh that's good. I was under the impression the midwife would ring me. If I've not heard by late Thursday I'm going to ring the doctors and just chase.

Hoping my 12 week scan is slightly early as we want to tell family we are seeing at just over 11 weeks!

Is your scan actually at 12 weeks?

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 18:43

@Kt12344 All I did was self refer to my local maternity services. I didn’t expect the 12 week scan appointment to come through yet, like you I expected that to follow the first midwife appointment. But apparently things are really organised 🤷‍♀️

Kt12344 · 19/07/2022 18:45

@G0ldfinch yeah I did that too online I got my midwife appointment the next day, maybe I'll just wait and it will come in the post how far along are you?

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 18:46

@JB2021 Sounds like a good plan, I think it’s worth checking. My 12 week scan will be when I am (supposedly) 12+1 so pretty bang on!

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 18:54

@Kt12344 I’m 5+5 currently. I wouldn’t worry about the 12 week scan yet, I wasn’t expecting to get it through and there will be plenty of time for it to be organised (however that works)

hipposinacircle · 19/07/2022 18:57

I've had a little bit of brown blood coming out today.
I took myself to the EPU but it was closed for the day but it is reassuring to hear that so many of you have been through the same and all has been fine. This is my 4th pregnancy but never experienced any sort of bleeding before.
I'm going to go back in the morning and hopefully they will be able to scan me. Fingers crossed all is well.

JB2021 · 19/07/2022 18:58

@G0ldfinch do you mind me asking which area of the country you're in

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 19:00

@JB2021 I’m in London 😊

JB2021 · 19/07/2022 19:54

@G0ldfinch thanks. When did you refer to midwife? I did it last Thursday but think midwife only works Thursdays and Fridays

SJ1994 · 19/07/2022 20:05

7 1/2 weeks currently! Weeks 4-6 I was very nauseous, very tired etc Nausea has pretty much gone but still have aversions to some foods, my boobs are still crazy sore and I currently have a UTI, which I’ve heard can be more common in pregnancy! 🙃 early scan booked for this Saturday and I am quite anxious about it!! Got my letter through today for my 12 week dating scan too ☺️

1st pregnancy and finding the lessening symptoms are triggering some anxieties but fingers crossed all is okay!

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 20:07

Hi @JB2021 I sent the referral off on 10th July but they likely would only have got it on 11th as 10th was a Sunday.

JB2021 · 19/07/2022 20:08

@G0ldfinch ahead of me as I didn't do until 14th

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 20:09

@JB2021 Ah ok so taking that into account and that the midwives only work some days in your area I’m sure it won’t be long.

JB2021 · 19/07/2022 20:10

@G0ldfinch they might work full time but I know they are only in my doctors 2 days. I'll give it a week, until this Thursday then I'll call up late on Thursday

G0ldfinch · 19/07/2022 20:12

Good luck @JB2021 let us know when you’re booked in!

Charlothevet88 · 20/07/2022 06:03

Hi all!
I've recently found out that I'm pregnant with my 🌈 baby after pregnancy loss just last month 😳
I'm 4wk &2d today!
Praying this little one sticks! Due 27th March 2023.
I'm 30, living in Derbyshire UK. This will be my second baby, S we already have a 20 month old little boy 💙

EasterBunny7 · 20/07/2022 08:56

@hipposinacircle sorry to hear about your bleeding, it's very stressful. Hope the EPU scan goes well.

EasterBunny7 · 20/07/2022 08:59

@Kt12344 you are one cool cucumber! I'm a bag of nerves. Does this mean you'll wait until your 12 week scan to see what's happening inside?

AnnMii · 20/07/2022 09:02

@vix_85 aww how are you doing? All the cheapies getting darker for me yeyyy 😍 so excited but I’m trying not to get too excited just yet

EasterBunny7 · 20/07/2022 09:02

@LittleAcorn20 mine has been a stop and start as well. Will you go to the EPU again this week?

EasterBunny7 · 20/07/2022 09:06

@Overthebow really good to hear a positive outcome after spotting/bleeding.
