Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

@TheCuriouscakedecorator glad I'm not the only one!! I'll probably join at 12 weeks 🤞

We have one booked for 8 weeks, so a week on Sunday.
I desperately wanted to go earlier once I'd found out - but I accept there's really not a lot to see before then and it's so hit and miss on heartbeat etc especially if you're not certain on the dates. I did find that I got less anxious/keen for the scan after around 7-10 days of knowing though!

Kayleehawkes · 07/07/2022 17:25

@botbump thanks 😊 I think I am going to wait too. I am very anxious because unfortunately I had a MMC in Feb. My scan then was when I was 7 weeks

Kayleehawkes · 07/07/2022 17:25

@botbump ohh exciting not long till your scan x

So sorry to hear that! Your feelings may take a little longer to subside in that case, I'm just an anxious first timer! Fingers crossed for a healthy 8 week bean for us both!

Hi ladies I just found out this week I’m 4 weeks pregnant. I have my first midwife appointment in 2 weeks so I’ll be 6 weeks. Feeling nervous as it’s my first and have underactive thyroid so fingers crossed it all goes well. I’m currently experiencing slight cramping, really sore boobs and nausea on and off especially around sweet foods! My due date according to Flo is around March 15th 2023 😁

Feels an age! But the time has gone far more quickly than I thought! I was just over 4 weeks when we booked it and the wait seemed unbearable!

Kayleehawkes · 07/07/2022 17:58

@MarisaJ congrats💕

Handmaid2019 · 07/07/2022 18:03

Welcome @MarisaJ! Congratulations 🥳 x

MarisaJ · 07/07/2022 18:07

Thank you 😊 xx

mariabombia · 07/07/2022 18:12

Congrats to everyone new that's joined the group😁 thank you to everyone who sent reassuring messages yesterday when I said I was worried I hadn't been sick yet haha. Hope everyone is doing well!

Does anyone know how long it takes for the midwife to get in touch? The drs receptionist referred me last week but I haven't heard back 🤔 is it usually a certain week they get in touch?

That sounds amazing @TheCuriouscakedecorator!

Any hairdressers on here? I'm due to get my hair coloured tomorrow, is it safe? My pregnant friend doesn't think so x

@TheCuriouscakedecorator thank you! Think I'll avoid the root touch up and just get some foils 😂 xx

havanamama · 07/07/2022 19:51

@MarisaJ congrats! I don’t have a thyroid at all and take levothyroxine and the GP and midwife have both reassured Me I’m fine on the current dose . I have a blood test at 7 weeks and early scan at almost 8 weeks :)

MarisaJ · 07/07/2022 20:18

@havanamama ahh that’s really reassuring to hear thank you 😊 xx

havanamama · 07/07/2022 20:41

I was super worried too, especially when googling but it’s apparently fine. We will just have frequent blood tests to monitor it throughout the pregnancy :)

TeddyBeans · 07/07/2022 21:21

@Laura. promethazine is the one that worked for me. I was lucky that my Dr prescribed it first. It can take a few tries to find the antiemetic that works for you

TeddyBeans · 07/07/2022 21:28

@Pink15 the FB group is private and hidden. There's no way to access it without the direct link I give out which runs out after 2 days or 20 clicks, whichever comes first. I was in one exactly like it for my first pregnancy and noone knew
