Hey! I'm due mid February. I'm just 6 weeks now, it's my first pregnancy. I'm feeling good, I sometimes have a bit of pelvic aches, pretty similar to how I feel before starting my period. My main symptom is my boobs killlll, I sleep on my front and I really struggle now and if I turn over on them during sleep it will wake me up.
Hope you're feeling okay!

ttcnumberthree · 19/06/2022 19:33

Me I am! Only found out today. Due March 4th but I'll be having an elective section again so baby will be born in Feb.

How are you both feeling? It definitely hasn't sunk in for me yet!

Yrmyfavourite · 19/06/2022 20:40

Me! Only 4 weeks along so due end Feb (ish) but, very nervous in case it's not viable as, I have miscarried previously and it's taken a long time to get pregnant before and after DD was born. It doesn't feel real yet!

How are you feeling?

X

Eagtess3 · 21/06/2022 06:15

@Rainbowdrops93 congrats I’m due mid February with my second. Daughter will be just turned three when baby is due. I don’t really have any symptoms other than random bouts of hunger. I’m 6 weeks today
@Yrmyfavourite oh no I’m so sorry to hear about the previous miscarriage.
@ttcnumberthree it definitely hasn’t sunk in yet. I worry if sonething has gone wrong. I have a reassurance scan when I’m 8 weeks roughly booked

Hi all!

Currently 6w+2. Due around 11/12th Feb with my second. My first will have just turned 3 by the time baby arrives.
Symptom wise, the tiredness has hit me this week. I'm so exhausted! Also getting random waves of nausea throughout the day too. Anybody booked in to see their midwife yet? I have my first appt next week when I'll be 7w+3.

ttcnumberthree · 21/06/2022 08:41

I've just filled out my referral form so hopefully will get a booking in appointment through the post in the next couple of weeks.

Already feeling nauseous and I'm barely even 4 weeks! This will be my third pregnancy so I'm wondering if that means I'll get more symptoms. I'm certainly expending to show more quickly! I had a noticeable bump by 6 weeks with my second.

S0220 · 21/06/2022 09:17

@ttcnumberthree I feel flipping huge already but I know it's all bloating. It's really uncomfortable though especially as just before falling preg I really toned up and lost a bit of weight, so I feel like it's really noticeable and I feel rubbish about it 😩

Anybody else suffering with bloating currently?

rosemarycait96 · 21/06/2022 09:30

Me! Due sometime between the 7th and 15th (we're not entirely sure as I have very irregular periods). My booking in appointment isn't till July!

I got prescribed some antiemetics today, GP said I have moderate morning sickness - good to know I wasn't imagining things. I'm emetophobic so of course finding the nausea quite distressing.

My God the fatigue has been something else. I have never once napped in my entire life, but I've been falling asleep on the sofa most afternoons this week. I've gone off sweet food and want nothing to eat but chicken nuggets.

Otherwise, I've been so excited! This is my first pregnancy, and it was planned. My husband is delighted and has been waiting on me hand and foot (mainly because I spend most of my time trying not to vomit). He's been doing all the housework and we spend a lot of time talking about our future family.

@S0220 YES I've been so incredibly bloated, it's unreal. Trapped wind and indigestion too, but I do have IBS so it's probably a bit of a flare too.

Good luck ladies, we have got this.

Somesome · 21/06/2022 10:45

hi everyone! joining this thread anxiously after finding out yesterday that I'm pregnant with our second... I'm 4 weeks and 1 day. how are you all doing?!

MummaDee1 · 21/06/2022 11:04

Hi @Eagtess3 I am also due in Feb 2023, first midwife app on 13 July. I am having pretty bad 'morning' sickness which lasts most of the day. Work has been a struggle. How are you doing? It's very surreal isn't it x

I am so bloated too! Jeans are just a no for me at the moment. Had a wedding at the wedding and it was a nightmare trying to hide it. Almost fainted during the ceremony and had to change into a looser fitting dress. It's crazy how the body starts to change so quickly 😅

Curlywurly3 · 21/06/2022 11:36

Hi everyone, EDD 28th Feb or 1st March. I already have a DD. I’m 11DPO today (3+6) and completely obsessing. I really can’t concentrate on work at all (I have a previous early MC so I keep comparing lines 🤦🏼‍♀️)

@ttcnumberthree I’m hoping to have an ELCS too so will be a Feb baby

Anyone else due Feb 2023
justsayso · 21/06/2022 13:56

Hi, can I join? Apparently I'm due Feb 14th according to my app and have my first midwife appointment on July 14th - why so long to wait?? This is our 1st and we were trying for 4 cycles before bfp in may. I'm itching to tell people, we're so excited.
Can I ask when people say they're 7×3 what does it mean?
So far not a lot of morning sickness, but pretty tired and achy boobs.

Curlywurly3 · 21/06/2022 14:12

Hi @justsayso congratulations! 7+3 means 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant. The booking in appointment with the midwife is usually between 8-10 weeks as standard x

ElizabethCaroline · 21/06/2022 14:26

I'm 7+1 days approx. Went for an early scan at the weekend because I'm very anxious and already had an early loss this year. I've been feeling horrendous, it comes and goes in waves but it never goes away fully. Not vomited yet but feel really sick and have done since 4+4! Boobs kill, have a weird taste in my mouth, napping every day and completely gone off coffee and chocolate. Midwife appointment isn't for two more weeks which seems like ages away. We haven't told anyone yet and it's really hard to hide from family but wanting to hold out as long as possible.

ahh I can relate to thus like obsession. I have been peeing on sticks for the last 24 hours since I got my first positive and need to stop! I am considering an ELCS this time around too.

Peonies94 · 21/06/2022 14:58

Due beginning of February! I’m feeling pretty rubbish! Sickness, dizziness, heart burn and covid! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Finally recovering a bit from covid! I’m really hoping I start to feel better in the second trimester! I have 5 weeks left in work after I return from covid, before I have a few weeks annual leave and I’m just trying to make it there! Early scan was cancelled this week so I have that next week now! Anxious but excited!!

ttcnumberthree · 21/06/2022 17:47

@Somesome @Curlywurly3 I had an elective with my second (natural birth with my first) and would 100% recommend the section! Was an amazing, calm experience and worlds apart from DC1's birth. Recovery from the section was actually far easier for me too.

Loads and loads of time to decide though!

S0220 · 21/06/2022 18:26

@ttcnumberthree so glad to read this, I'm hoping to have an elective in Feb. I had an emergency c section with my first and definitely don't want to experience all of that again!

Curlywurly3 · 21/06/2022 19:21

@ttcnumberthree I had an ELCS with my DD as she was breech. Although I did go into labour a week earlier! I loved the whole experience and was in the pub drinking champagne by day 3 ☺️
I was totally psyched up for a natural birth as I had done a Hypnobirthing course and if it was my first I’d probably want to go natural. As I’ll be 38 when this one arrives and know what to expect with an ELCS, I think that’s the path I’d like to take.

@Peonies94 sorry to hear you’ve had covid and during early pregnancy… that’s A LOT!!

Peonies94 · 21/06/2022 19:32

@Curlywurly3 thank you! It’s been exhausting! Beginning to start to feel more human!

Bella9992 · 21/06/2022 20:30

Hey, I'm 5+1, think I'm due around 19/20 Feb. This is my second, I have a DD who is nearly 2.
I'm planning to get a private scan around 8 weeks as I'm quite anxious.
Im feeling quite nauseous in the morning and soooo bloated! I feel huge already but I know its bloating. I had this until about 12 weeks with my daughter and then it disappeared until my bump started to appear around 16 weeks!
I had emergency c section with my first and definitely planning an elective with this one.

Hayleyl91 · 21/06/2022 21:25

Hey hope you're all well. I'm due 18th Feb according to my app, I had a mmc at 10 weeks in January so super nervous this time as I have had no sickness etc yet

MummaDee1 · 22/06/2022 11:05

Does anyone have any book recommendations for first time mums? Thanks ☺️

Ballyboo1986 · 22/06/2022 11:30

Good morning everyone. Can I join also please. Got faint line at 9dpo but much stronger now at 12dpo. Slightly obsessively testing , which is silly as with my first I just took one when AF was missed and that was it. But weirdly cautious this time.
Due date is 26th Feb, currently 4+4. Nervous for many reasons, one being that I had hyperemesis in my previous pregnancy and was in a bad way from about 6 weeks. I also ended up being induced (failed) due to preeclampsia so I'm really hoping this one will be smoother 🙏

Anyone else due Feb 2023
