I think the downside to the 90day threads is that it's not much different to a normal thread that we're doing now in that your details are still out there for anyone to see for 3months. I think it was different when we were just general ttc chat but now that we've all gotten to know each other more and chat about our everyday personal lives quite a bit I need to remind myself to be a bit more wary now as I'm not just chatting to you guys I'm letting the world know my business. If you know someone IRL who is lurking on the thread it will be very easy for them to spot you from the details on our threads. I already found one of our ladies on a random FB group having never even seen her photo before but just from some of the info we were chatting about on here I knew who it was, so it's not difficult to out someone.
Happy to stay on MN if that's where everyone else prefers to be but I think I need to start remembering to hold back on the info I share, particularly with my job, I dont want people IRL that know me that may be lurking reading my info without me knowing. I'll reply to other people's news on here going forward but not comment with my own anymore, but I will share any of my personal news on IG as I know its only people I've allowed that can see that, that seems like a happy medium of being able to stay up to date with you guys but keeping my private life to only those who I want to have access to it.

Yes that's a fair point @DKDK123, the advantage of the 90 day thread is that ppl are less likely to peruse that thread like they would "parenting or pregnancy"
I think maybe a WhatsApp group and moving thread is best

Hello everyone, disappeared for a few days to get my head on straight. Midwife visit upset me a bit (thanks @larrythelizard , @kaylsd, @feliznavidad2 and @Minster2012 for the support/pep-talks on insta ❤️❤️) as it was the usual conversation about my weight and it all just got a bit much. However, we bought our cot and changing table today and I'm feeling much better about life - also got a new swimsuit so I can go swimming again 🙌

I'm up for a WhatsApp group - I was thinking the other day about how much I've overshared on here, so will probably keep things more to Insta for the time being 🙈

We had a nice fun day as our last weekend as a family of 3 (assuming we don't get bumped on Friday) which is very strange to think!

Noticed that I have the start of a couple of stretch marks (humph) and also a linea nigra developing, maybe I should lay off the cornettos this week and hope bump doesn't expand any more?! Never had a linea nigra last time so don't if that's significant in that this is a girl in there or not?! Still reckon il team blue!

Another just day done! Phew!

Though...I'm wiping blood now? ABD got cramps? Got mirena coil fitted on Monday which was around the time I thought AF was maybe due but of course never been regular so was it that or AF?! Now wiping pink /red. Argh I hate being a do an sometimes 🤦🏼‍♀️

Honestly @InkyPaper in the later stages of pregnancy swimming was the only time my back didn't hurt, or anything hurt. It was bliss enjoy it! Oooo it's all coming together!!

@DKDK123 tbh that first bit can go for maybe most ppl in pregnancy not just those with another child, raising voice to DH I was def guilty of!

@BellatrixK I think we all do!!i d you I don't care cos as soon as I say my background with the surrogacy for X then if ppl know me then it's Instantly recognisable so I kinda don't care!! But we were better when just TTC I think and our little insta communicate has been great & despite personal accounts being involved we've done really well ❤️that's why we care for each other

Yesterday was a bad day, had back ache alll day until around late tea time & I lost my mucus plug in the morning which I thought shit 😬😬😬😬 triage are keeping me on close watch and any more signs I have to go straight in so I’m not even aloud to go walk the pooch! Just 2 more days you’ve got to stay in for little one, woke up 6 times in night too so I’m more than ready now for this Wednesday🥴

I have also booked to go swimming on Weds @InkyPaper but already feels like a lot of effort!

@larrythelizard oddly I only got that line after giving birth? Its above belly button though. I also think I've got 2 stretch marks that have now appeared each side. 😫 And I literally finished packing my hospital bag 2 days before my due date. 🤣 I could have just taken a pair of pants, a nappy and baby clothes though. 🤭

Whilst some ppl might find it easier to chat over message There are some ppl who won't want to join a chat group and wish to remain anonymous, there are ppl who may not want to be bombarded with notifications, and others who have been around for ages and dip in and out or are taking a bit of time off, so I think it only fair that this thread is still around certainly for a bit & we see how it goes

@inkypaper swimming is meant to have so many benefits hunny! I don’t find it enjoyable me I do two lengths maximum and get tired 🤣

Hi ladies, I'm so sorry for the hiatus and for not being overly responsive on here/insta!

I need to give you a proper update but long story short I had an EMCS on Thursday night at 21.55. Lost a lot of blood according to the docs (I suspect nothing in comparison t @DKDK123 )and baby came out in shock so was immediately rushed to the resuscitaire by like 6 people trying to get some life into her. All is good though and we're both home since Saturday afternoon but I've been a zombie ever since trying to recover physically from all that.

She still has no name. Was born 7lb 8oz at exactly 39 weeks. 50 cm long and head was 34cm. She's so so cute 😍
