Hi all! Had a BFP yesterday at 11dpo after a squinter at 9dpo so thought I'd start this thread for everyone just getting bfps around now and due later in Feb/ early March!

I'm hopeful but a bit nervous after two chemicals this year. Hoping this bean sticks! Feeling positive about it so far... This will be our second baby, have a 21mo DD already 🥰

All welcome!

Hi everyone.

This month I resisted the temptation to test early and got my BFP this morning after AF didn't show. I had a very early miscarriage at 5 weeks in February which was my first pregnancy, so I'm hoping this one sticks!

Wishing everyone a healthy pregnancy!

Congratulations @franc1s ! Sorry to hear about your MC. Hopefully this pregnancy is smooth sailing for you. Do you know what your estimate due date is? Mine’s 24th February

MooBugz · 14/06/2022 07:46

Congrats @franc1s 🥳 so sad so many of us with previous mc but goes to show how common it really is sadly.

@MrsD2021 we have an nhs number to call up after a missed period/positive pregnancy test no questions asked which I'm always very surprised! Usually the midwife at the booking appointment is the same the whole way through till birth so that's always nice. Last time because it was during lockdown I had a different midwife each visit so it wasn't the same experience and felt disjointed for sure.

Congrats to us all I'm sending positive vibes to all of you ❤️

Skylark1990 · 14/06/2022 10:26

Congrats @franc1s that is a lovely strong line! I am also just now the day after period was due so 15dpo - so we must be very similar timewise :) I didn't have your willpower and tested at 9dpo and about 5 times since then 😂the line has progressed well so I'm very reassured after 2 early losses earlier this year. My line today looks like yours :)

Hope you all feel ok today! I mostly feel fine - boobs a bit sore but other than that no real symptoms today aside from perhaps a tiny bit of nausea when I get hungry. I got horrendous sickness with my DD from about weeks 7-16 so I'm assuming if it hits me again it'll come around then... not looking forward but it can also reassure us can't it! So that will be the silver lining.

Thanks @MrsD2021 and sorry to hear about your previous losses but congratulations on your BFP. I've checked an online calculator for my due date and using my last period date it's the 22nd Feb, but I think ovulated around cycle day 12 which would would make my due date the 19th. Hope everything goes smoothly for you too

Thank you and congratulations on your BFP as well! I had a feeling I was pregnant as I had that heavy feeling in my uterus and a wave of nausea the other day, but I didn't want to risk seeing a BFN so just lived in hope! Haha. It must be nice seeing your lines progress well and I hope you continue to have a healthy pregnancy!

mumofbun · 14/06/2022 11:39

Hope everyone is doing ok!

Yes @MrsD2021 i'm still in shock haha! I had a feeling on Friday when i was due my period that i was pregnant but i still didn't really expect it when i did the test on Saturday...I've just registered with the midwife team so hopefully that will help make things seem real.

I've bought a dating test - i've only had one missed period but i felt like last cycle i was pregnant i don't know...And i'm surprised i already have so many symptoms - i feel like the tiredness/sore boobs/heavy stomach/nausea are all a lot more than last time around!

Hagster · 14/06/2022 12:17

Hi everyone can I join please? Just got a totally unexpected (but very much wanted) BFP. We have a 20 month old rainbow baby after a MMC at 12 weeks. I'm feeling very tentative but also excited, but also in shock!

My due date is 19th Feb 2023 so I hope that's not too early to still join this thread. I joined a lovely supportive group on here that took me all the way through my last pregnancy so wanting to find a community here again and you all seem flipping lovely.

Skylark1990 · 14/06/2022 13:53

Welcome @Hagster you can definitely join, anyone is welcome and 19 Feb is definitely still late Feb anyway, haha! So sorry to hear of your MMC but happy for you that you have a LO too :) I have a 21 month old, and I'm due 21 Feb so we are in very similar boats! I think @franc1s is also due at the same time as us/within a couple days :) I'm also hoping to have a little community, it really makes pregnancy that much easier.

@franc1s that's great you waited, that was my original plan but at 9dpo I'd had sore boobs and cramping for two days (am still breastfeeding my DD so the sore boobs was incredibly obvious every time she latched on) so I just had a strong feeling and couldn't resist.

@mumofbun when are you planning on doing the dating test? is it one of the clear blue with weeks ones? I have one too and thinking of doing it on Thurs...

Hoping we all have smooth pregnancies! It's still such early days isn't it... I would like it to be time for the 12 week scan already please 😅

mumofbun · 14/06/2022 13:55

@Skylark1990 yes one of the clear blue ones! i was thinking of doing it when i got home tonight...i know morning is meant to be best but i did my first test in the middle of the day and it was strong so think i'll get something on it!

MooBugz · 14/06/2022 14:39

Clear blue is great isn't it I normally follow up with a cb just to confirm the pregnancy for peace of mind lol but haven't this time and they are expensive so I'm thinking I'll try behave and be happy with my positives 🤣

STom2 · 14/06/2022 15:04

Hi @Hagster 👋 I was on the same previous thread with you (my DS is now 19 months). I name changed from AnxiousLady. I'm roughly 5+ weeks now but very much still 'head in the sand' territory as I had an early MC at the start of May and didn't have first period before I started getting BFPs again last week. Hopefully this is a sticky bean!!

mumofbun · 14/06/2022 15:51

@MooBugz i probably wouldn't have bothered but they were on offer in tesco with the clubcard and i'm feeling more pregnant than i think i should so i want to put my mind at rest haha!

Hagster · 14/06/2022 16:37

Ah hi @STom2, so lovely to see you again! I really missed that group when we all drifted off, it's lovely to have a familiar person here. Can't believe our LOs are approaching 2!

Thank you for the warm welcome @Syklark1990.

Fingers crossed for sticky beans all round, but here for everyone no matter what.

Hi, please can I join? 😊

Due Late Feb / Early March 2023 💖💙💐🌈
MrsD2021 · 15/06/2022 07:19

Welcome @Ally256, @Hagster and @STom2 and congratulations! This thread is starting to get busier!

Hoping we can all form a lovely group that extends past our babies being born. I see the other Feb thread has a private Facebook group and a WhatsApp chat. Would anyone be up for that? I’ve got no idea how to set them up though. I must admit I get a bit overwhelmed with WhatsApp chats sometimes - seeing unread messages makes me feel a weird kind of pressure 😂

STom2 · 15/06/2022 07:46

Thanks @MrsD2021! I tend to be a little reluctant to join the WhatsApp groups this early on and I'm not actually on Facebook. Went down a bit of a Clearblue digi rabbit hole this morning as I took another test hoping to see a 3+ but still showing 2-3 (since I tested last Wednesday). Trying to tell myself that my dates are all over the place due to not having a period after last MC (I'm about 5+1 based on ovulation date). Doesn't help ease my mind that I've no real symptoms yet either. Going to hold off for a few days an check again. Stupid tests! 🙈

Ally256 · 15/06/2022 09:15

I'd definitely be up for a fb group!

mumofbun · 15/06/2022 12:14

@MrsD2021 I was in a facebook group for my last pregnancy and it was great so would definitely be up for that!

@STom2 could be that you were 2 weeks last week and 3 this...its so hard but definitely best not to test again for a bit x

Boadiccea · 15/06/2022 12:40

Hi all,

I rarely (if ever) check mumsnet aside from these threads as the Facebook groups have been invaluable in my previous pregnancies. I'm here if there becomes a group for this thread!!

I'm roughly 4 weeks now.

onewishfulthinker · 15/06/2022 14:04

Hi ladies!

What a lovely thread this is - congrats on the BFPs!! ❤️

Please can I join? I've just had my BFP this morning 🥳 AF actually isn't due until Saturday but I've had strong symptoms already!

All being well, I'll be due 26th Feb and this will be my second baby (DD will be 3 in November) 🥰 I can't believe how much I've forgotten about everything already.

Definitely keen for a Facebook group too as I found that so helpful with my first. So excited to be on this journey with you all!

After a missed miscarriage in October, I just found out I’m pregnant today one day before I’m dueee!! I’m excited but scared again!!

Twosidestwoplayers · 15/06/2022 17:15

Hi all - another one with a bfp today! I have an almost 4yo however my second pregnancy ended in a tfmr last year after the baby was diagnosed with multiple health conditions following the 12 week scan. I’m feeling happy but also very worried that history could repeat itself. Hoping that joining a lovely group like this will help me feel a bit less anxious.

MooBugz · 15/06/2022 17:46

Hello @Nikkixx @Twosidestwoplayers and congrats on your bfps 🥰

Sharing the scary adventure 🤞🏼🌈

Skylark1990 · 15/06/2022 18:51

Welcome all and congrats on bfps! I'm also up for a Facebook group ☺️☺️
