Starting a new thread due to last one being full. Such a valuable place to share our journey! Not going to tag anyone in case they don't want to be tagged.

Marching towards or in the beginning of the second trimester!

@TeamBluex3 i had a metallic taste for a bit but it’s gone now!

@Vg92 they recommend no more than 2 weekly scans. Not really sure why tho as I’m fairly sure they cause no issues to baby but there must be a reason….Consultant said I’ll have more scans this pregnancy though x

@AG96 ohh same as me then so far i havent either!

@Mommabear20 @Jaaxe interesting to hear ladies as in my 3 previous pregnancies (all boys) i had it with them but so far with this pregnancy i havent had it so finding it abit strange lol

@HayleyBean yep! we’re not finding out this time either! This will be our 4th and the only one we won’t have found out with….we have girl, boy, girl already and no preference, it was a surprise pregnancy so we figured why not keep it all a surprise :)

@TeamBluex3 I had a weird taste with my daughter and this pregnancy but wouldn't describe it as metallic. Has gone now but sister in law didn't have it with her first (both had girls) but is now experiencing it with her 2nd at 30 weeks!

@HayleyBean we're not finding out right to er. Second time in team yellow for us.

We're planning to find out. I didn't with my DD but this time round I'm having a harder time getting excited and emotionally attaching to this baby and I thinking knowing the sex might help? I think it's just because I have a child already who takes all my time and energy so it feels more difficult to spare a thought for a baby I can't see or even feel yet. I haven't had much by way of 1st trimester symptoms and don't have a bump so just feels a bit unreal. Anybody in the same boat?

@HayleyBean we will be finding out, we didn't with our first which was amazing but with our second and now this one, I just want to able to get organised, especially with this one being due so close to Christmas, I'm not gonna have time (or energy) to drag all 3 kids round the stupidly busy shops to get clothes that aren't yellow 😂

We will be finding out, although we’re already sure it’s a girl from the nub analysis! 3 weeks to go until my 20 week scan… just can’t wait to see her again 💖 so excited!!

@lovesT hmmm interesting.. i have noticed when i eat certain foods/sauces they appear really bitter/sour in taste. Is that maybe what your trying to describe? I definaly dont have the metallic taste like i did when carrying my boys though & wont know what we are having until 19th July so will be interesting to see if i get told its another boy or our first girl lol

@DogsAndGin which did you use for nub analysis? I sent my photos off to the nubologists as i couldn't see a nub on any of my 6 photos so i thought if i send them off to "professionals" they might be able to see something i can't! Well anyway they give me a refund as confirmed what i thought all along as they couldn't do it as no nub was visible!.. and i must admit not having abit of clue/idea as to what im having is crippling me!

Im jelous of all you ladies with a nub on your scan photos 😜atleast it gives you some indication 😂

@TeamBluex3 @lovesT I had a sour/metallic taste in my first trimester. Made some foods taste strange, so it was a fun challenge to find food options! Only things that helped were mint sweets and starburst.

@Tofu35 i had lazagne & salad other night & the salad cream tasted really bitter/sour to me 😂 definatly didn't taste like i had salad cream! And also couldn't stand the texture of the mince either so i just ate the pasta part of it haha!

The texture thing is the weirdest! I was off baked potatoes for three months because of the texture @TeamBluex3. Glad lasagne has so many bits to it that there was something you could have. Do you ever have those food compulsions where the whole day you keep thinking about one particular meal or taste?

@Tofu35 no not really but i will say at the minute since trying one the other day all i can seem to actually think about is the Mcdonalds Crispy Chicken Italiano! But i ordered mine without pesto-mayo (hate pesto) so asked them to put just normal mayo instead & omg it was amazing! Definatly recommend you should try one haha & to the rest of you ladies that read this 😜

Oh sorry @TeamBluex3 that must have been so disappointing! We used the nubologists too, we must have had a lucky photo. There are other theories though - check out the Ramzi theory and skull theory

@DogsAndGin yes i did ramzi thoery early on in pregnancy and they predicted girl! But who knows i know i dont 😂 is this your first pregnancy?

@siobhanmt247 its frustrating isnt it! Why not post your scan photo, i will post mine & we could see if their is any comparisons in our scan pics? 😁

@TeamBluex3 sounds like a good idea. Here's mine. Based on my symptoms I think its a boy
