Starting a new thread due to last one being full. Such a valuable place to share our journey! Not going to tag anyone in case they don't want to be tagged.

Marching towards or in the beginning of the second trimester!

As I thought the reason why they didn't see anything was because I'd miscarried. Saw the evidence when I went to the loo. Felt it before I saw it 😭😭😭 heartbroken and don't think I'll ever try again

Thanks everyone for your well wishes.

@AG96 No as I have trauma and they struggled last time despite me trying. No point in doing another pregnancy test as I passed tissue over an hour ago xx

Luckyme2022 · 11/06/2022 19:13

@Phoenixwings1989 I am so sorry 😢. I had 3 miscarriages and 6 failed IVF, and this time I am naturally conceived with my first healthy baby. So I really hope you will have your rainbow baby one day when you are ready again.

Amphibian94 · 11/06/2022 19:40

Does anyone have any idea on yellow discharge? Trying not to freak out... I thought I had thrush so started using canesten 2 days ago, just went toilet and now the discharge is thick yellow... nervous about mc. Going to try call midwife tomorrow.

BuchananBaby · 11/06/2022 20:22

@Amphibian94 I've always had loads of yellow and cloudy white discharge when pregnant. Actually with DD I thought I was losing some of my mucus plug really early on. MW said it was normal but sent swabs away to check for infection and all was fine 🙂

AG96 · 11/06/2022 20:27

@Amphibian94 I had a blob of yellowish clear discharge yesterday. Wondered if it was some mucus plug but was only small (5p size). Is it a lot of discharge?

Phoenixwings1989 · 11/06/2022 20:28

Wow! I admire your strength hun. Don't think I'll ever be ready again.

Amphibian94 · 11/06/2022 20:41

@Buchananbaby thank you! I read it could still be thrush if its yellow, so will keep using the canesten and try get a nurse appointment next week for some swabs

Amphibian94 · 11/06/2022 20:42

@AG96 defo more than a 5p, it was on my panty liner mostly then again when wiping. And it was defo yellow not like a tint of clear yellow. It shocked me when I saw it! Its the same consistency as thrush sorry tmi!

lifechanginglemoncake · 11/06/2022 20:42

@Amphibian94 do you take a multivitamin or have you just started taking one? Mine makes my wee and discharge fluorescent yellow. Sorry for the TMI!

Amphibian94 · 11/06/2022 20:44

@lifechanginglemoncake no I haven't taken one all pregnancy just a vitamin d supp, this is the first time I've had it too (15 weeks). I know what you mean about the pregnancy supplements it also made my wee bright yellow in previous pregnancy!

Phoenixwings1989 · 11/06/2022 21:33

The only thing that's worse than knowing I have miscarried is knowing for sure now my dates were right and not wrong. Bub was probably measuring five weeks because bub had stopped growing so the likelihood is it has been in my womb floating and the first bit of bleeding was a sign of that and only did it start properly this week.

This leaves me feeling ill at the thought of bub just existing but not growing.

Amphibian94 · 11/06/2022 22:03

Pheonixwings1989 so sorry for your loss. I've had a similar experience and the thoughts run wild. I hope you find a way to deal with it and take care of yourself. Make sure you give yourself time to grieve x

lifechanginglemoncake · 11/06/2022 22:09

@Amphibian94 worth a shot. I freaked out the first time I took the supplement! Hope you get an answer and it's nothing to worry about.

Jaaxe · 12/06/2022 07:32

@Phoenixwings1989 be kind to yourself and take it a day at a time, you’ve been through a lot the last few weeks so it’s understandable you’re feeling the way you are. I hope they look after u on your appointment on Monday xx

LolaJ87 · 12/06/2022 07:39

I’m so sorry @Phoenixwings1989 - it sounds like you’ve been through an absolute trauma. My heart goes out to you. Sometimes these private places can see what’s happening but aren’t allowed to diagnose miscarriage or severe issues that they see. Please make sure you get seen tomorrow so they can check that you’re passing everything on your own. There’s really good supports out there too… don’t be afraid to ask for them and remember this happens in 1 in 4 pregnancies, you are not alone. I hope you’re ready for a rainbow someday 💙

Phoenixwings1989 · 12/06/2022 11:07

@LolaJ87 Thank and yes it is a traumatic experience unfortunately I was just so confused as to why they couldn't tell me outright and I had to find out the way I did. Frustrating too. I guess it wasn't that difficult to know in fairness. Would it be best to ring EPU beforehand or just turn up and tell them then? I'm not sure what to do in this instance.

@Jaaxe Thank you. I will try. I just feel responsible even though I'm not, so it's hard.

@Amphibian94 Thank you and I'm so sorry you had a similar experience. It's so hard.

I've started crying again this morning yet I feel so numb. It doesn't seem real and feels a bit like a nightmare and that I'm just waiting for my alarm to go off but know it won't. I'm in pain even with pain relief and feel so nauseous too.
