Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

@BusyBushBaby amazing news!

has anyone had their 12 week scan yet? Or anyone who’s due to have it in the next week or 2? I’m so nervous for mine! It’s a week tomorrow and I’m super anxious! Just currently wishing my life away!

I have mine on 28th, not long now!

RBSK1 · 14/07/2022 18:20

@BeeYellowMumma we have ours on the same day!! By my workings I should be bang on 12 weeks!

Wasn't as nervous for my first one as I am for this one!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 14/07/2022 18:25

Not long till lots of you have 12 week scans!!

How are everyone's symptoms now / how have they changed over the first 10 ish weeks?

I'm gone from being a bit constipated to going twice today. Really not feeling great.

PeanutButterFalcon · 14/07/2022 19:25

@BritInNZ i get really dry skin and awful acne too. All I can do is moisturise. I know it’ll go as soon as I give birth!

12 week scan coming up in a couple weeks. Not had any other scans this time so nervous to see if everything is ok

BritInNZ · 14/07/2022 19:27

@PeanutButterFalcon owww I was hoping it wouldn't last the whole nine months πŸ˜‚ yep I have to later on moisturiser too!

BritInNZ · 14/07/2022 19:30

@FlyOnTheWall89 I wish my 12 week scan was soon - the size of my bloated tummy makes it look like I should be having it soon πŸ˜‚ I had early scan Monday and thought I was 7 +2 and they had me at 6 +4 so now I'm all out of whack with when I reach 12 weeks. I have one booked while I'm in the uk on 17 August as otherwise I won't have one until I'm back in NZ.

Sorry to hear you're still feeling awful! All in all I don't feel too bad - definitely having it easy compared to some. My most awful symptom is just being exhausted ALL the time. Last night I was so tired I wanted to cry πŸ˜‚ AND you have to pretend you're fine to everyone! No sickness, just food aversions. Hating vegetables and just want beige food so definitely putting on too much weight for this stage of pregnancy!

Peonies94 · 14/07/2022 19:31

@Newbie2022 ahh same day! How many weeks will you be? I’ll be 12+2 I think! I had a scan at 8 weeks and all looked okay, but I’m soo anxious!!

My 12 week scan is on the 25th, excited but also nervous since it's my first one!

I should be 12+1 then if dates are right. Its at 8.30am too, so really early means my husband can be there πŸ˜ƒ I don't feel that nervous right now, probably will this time next week. I'm sure all will be fine for you, it's so easy to think the worst and that's totally normal

πŸ€žπŸ‘ we have our scan on the same date, best of luck! Be careful with drinking all the water they recommend in advance as otherwise they may ask you to go for a nightmare partial wee as your bladder is too full to scan! πŸ«£πŸ˜‚ It’s my third and I remember the nerves of the first one, hoping everything you’ve been feeling is real etc, so hope you can bear the excitement and nerves over the next 10ish days!

I’ve been holding off until after the scan to drop by and say hello πŸ‘‹ but as you can all tell, the hormones are really upsetting the sleep patterns so pre-dawn scrolling become a regular fixture in my bedroom! I’m definitely in @BritInNZ camp on the food choices to cope with nausea. But ouch, the consequences! I had a mum atschool as if I was hiding anything under my dress… brutal.

Inaya05 · 15/07/2022 06:32

everything was great at 9 weeks Scan. Baby's heartbeat was strong.
having morning sickness all day. Brushing teeth is very hard job nowadays. First thing in the morning which i’m doing is Throwing up bile ewww. I hate it . I am so faded. Not throwing up all day just nauseous.
i hope this symptoms just to be gone while i enter in second trimester.

some other Online consulting doctors advised me that toxoplasma needs no treatment when igG is positive and igM is negative. So i’m listening to them and i’d shut my medication for toxo.
is there anybody suffering from same?

FlyOnTheWall89 · 15/07/2022 08:16

@BritInNZ your scan doesn't need to be bang on 12 weeks anyway. All those symptoms sound super normal - don't you already feel like you've been pregnant for agessssss and yet to be dated 6 something it's almost unfair haha. Re your skin, I think that's totally normally. Hormones cause havoc with skin particularly around the chin and jaw line. Maybe try a pregnancy friendly face mask to dry them out. I haven't actually tried it during pregnancy yet but I really rate the effeclar purifying clay mask.

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I feel my boobs are less sore and other things have changed. Have a bad feeling but my OH isn't home until Sunday so I don't want to go and get a scan yet.

@FlyOnTheWall89 absolutely! I'm hoping it's going so slow as nobody knows, and a soon as people know it will fly by πŸ˜‚ oh no! What other symptoms? I'm sure it's fine. I had a day without sore boobs and was a bit worried and they next day they came back with vengeance!

PeanutButterFalcon · 15/07/2022 20:49

How is everyone managing to stay hydrated? I’m sure I’m dehydrated and really struggling to keep my fluids up and my kidney is hurting.

FlyOnTheWall89 · 15/07/2022 21:34

I went for a scan in the end @BritInNZ - all fine. Looks like a real baby now!!! The sonographer did identify a Subchorionic hematoma so that's good to know and be prepared for. I'll speak to my doctor about it and then the midwife too and just be a bit careful. Hope you're managing with your skin - I've had that before so can completely empathise. X

BritInNZ · 15/07/2022 21:36

@FlyOnTheWall89 phew glad all is okay! What does that mean? Sorry not clued up! Skin still looks crap but at least it feels soft because it's peeling so much πŸ˜‚ I hope this doesn't like for the whole pregnancy! I feel like a spotty snake πŸ˜‚

FlyOnTheWall89 · 15/07/2022 21:43

@BritInNZ it's a bleed inside, caused by implantation perhaps. She said I might have a bleed and not to panic but to call the hospital if I do. Sometimes they resolve themselves, and sometimes they don't. I'm just going to take it easy - some doctors prescribe bed rest etc. It's fairly common apparently.

BusyBushBaby · 16/07/2022 12:05

@FlyOnTheWall89 I've had one with both this pregnancy and with my son as well, both resolved by themselves, although I did have some bleeding with my son which was scary.

Peonies94 · 17/07/2022 08:38

@FlyOnTheWall89 how are you?

@PeanutButterFalcon I think I’m managing and not feeling dehydrated but weeing much less frequently than I was before, so maybe I am dehydrated?! Who knows!

Newbie2022 · 17/07/2022 09:09

@Peonies94 Yeh according to my apps I’ll be 11+6 but NHS say I will be 12+2 so we will see. I’m excited to get a more accurate due date! This is my first baby so all new to me, exciting but nervous! X

Peonies94 · 17/07/2022 09:33

@Newbie2022 I’m so excited for my scan, although also very anxious! I just want it to be here now!! My first baby also! Aww we may even have the same due date now, though I am thinking mine might change, although I know I’m definitely correct! In my private scan I was told I was further ahead, but I temped and know when I ovulated and the dates they gave were impossible, based on when we started trying that month πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ!

im going to have to keep myself seriously busy this week and hopefully Friday will be here before we know it!
