Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

Thank you so much πŸ˜€

Thought I’d share that we had our early scan this morning, measured at 7+5 (1 day off our estimate) and a nice healthy heartbeat. Such a relief and would definitely recommend it to give a bit of reassurance!

roarfeckingroarr · 09/07/2022 16:51

@Peonies94 yay we're due the same time! This is your first? This is my second. I remember time dragging an absolute age with my first - partly due to lockdown - whereas this time I have the toddler as a distraction and kind of forget im also pregnant. When's your scan? Mine is next Thursday (21st).

Congrats! Glad to hear, I'm so nervous about mine!

BeeYellowMumma · 09/07/2022 20:56

My family got the news of baby number 2 today when my daughter proudly declared mummy has a baby in her tummy mid poo...

I was at work so when I came back my mum asked.

Whoops πŸ˜…

roarfeckingroarr · 09/07/2022 22:27

@BeeYellowMumma oh that's so cute - and very funny. Mine is just shy of 21 months so doesn't understand and certainly can't tell people πŸ˜ƒ

Peonies94 · 10/07/2022 06:44

@roarfeckingroarr yes this is my first! It’s dragging so badly! I’m also suffering every day with sickness the majority of the day, so don’t think that’s helping! My scan is the day after yours! ☺️ Soo excited but also so nervous!

Thanks! When is yours? We were really nervous too, but so glad we did it.

WonderWoop · 10/07/2022 13:15

Hope everyone is doing well. Congrats on the early scans. I have one booked for next Thursday, I am hoping alls well and we measure bang on 8 weeks.

My two year old is suffering from chicken pox and I am craving bread but still feel sick after a sandwich so could do with both the pox and nausea passing!

Cherrymarket · 11/07/2022 11:39

I am craving ritz biscuits and cheese. I think for the salt!
how is everyone doing? I have my 12 week scan this week! Feels like time is on fast forward now.

Ohhhhhshitttt · 11/07/2022 15:10

I've been earing ritzy biscuits and cheese @Cherrymarket ! My scan is also this week...cannot wait.

OscarVictorEcho · 11/07/2022 17:25

Hi waves, I"m tentatively ready to join the group after having my booking appointment this morning. The midwife reckons I'm 8 +3 and due date is 19th February. I've barely had any symptoms so far so I'm struggling to believe it's happening. At the beginning I was really tired and needing a nana nap to get through the day. I've also had sore boobs but other than that no other symptoms at all. In fact since I stopped drinking caffeine and alcohol I've felt more energised and revitalised so even the tiredness is dwindling! I mentioned these concerns to the midwife but she was really lovely and reassuring so it put my mind at ease a bit.

RBSK1 · 12/07/2022 05:54

Morning everyone.

Starting to feel more real now. I'm 9+5 and have my scan on the 28th but is anyone else going through the whole symptoms disappearing and reappearing thing?

My sickness has all but gone now, I've still got some food aversions and boobs going through sore days and good days.

I still have that MMC worry in the back of my mind, after hearing of a friends recent tragedy, but despite never having a loss before myself, I'm trying not to get too excited but also not be too down about the whole situation!

The only consistent symptom I seem to have at the minute is the inability to go toilet for one thing(2) but none stop for the other (1). I'm hoping this is a "good" sign but I'm not too sure still πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

RBSK1 · 12/07/2022 05:55

Also, can I just say, this heat is not okay. I am sweating non stop recently......

FlyOnTheWall89 · 12/07/2022 07:03

@RBSK1 yes I am. My nausea has definitely eased in the last few days which is scary and lovely. Exactly like you, no previous losses but the MMC is in my mind. Boobs still heavy and big and sore, still burping, constipation, still exhausted (is the heat tho).... also maybe think I'm just better at managing the nausea - like I'm eating as soon as I wake up whereas I used to eat at least a few hours later and I always have snacks at the ready. I guess without having an additional scan, you won't know. Thinking I'll get one next week to reassure myself before we are away for a few weeks.

ViVi1001 · 12/07/2022 19:42

Hi all. I’m 9 weeks today, it feels like time is going by so slowly while counting down the days to the big scan.

It’s been stressful, I’ve had daily brown / pink spotting from when I hit 6+0 and thought I was miscarrying, whilst going through a really busy period at work. I was seen and given a scan at the EPU the same day, in which they measured me at 5+4 based on the sac and yolk, but couldn’t see a fetal pole and therefore couldn’t say whether it was a viable pregnancy and/or whether i was miscarrying. Cue a torturous 2 week wait for a follow up scan at 8+0 and to my shock / relief there it was with a heartbeat, measuring 7+1. Trying not to worry too much about the difference in measurements.

Main symptoms are constant nausea (although not vomiting 99% of the time), sore boobs, bone tired all the time, spots, extreme bloating (as only seem able to stomach beige foods). Definitely ZILCH pregnancy glow!! I’m typically a size 6 dress size and fast running out of floaty / oversized dresses in my wardrobe to hide the bloat.

We’ve only told my mum given everything that’s been happening and my crippling anxiety of things going wrong, it’s been pretty lonely TBF.

Wow i am and have experienced the exact same! Like to the T.... Apart from my second scan measured me at 8 weeks on Saturday which goes with my LMP.. Other than that exactly same symptoms and yes with feeling pretty lonely as not told anyone apart from mum and obviously DH.. Wishing you all healthy pregnancies πŸ’•πŸ’•

WonderWoop · 12/07/2022 21:07

Hi all, I have my early scan on Thursday morning and now feeling the stress and worry beforehand. Feel like all my symptoms have disappeared in the last two days. Know I shouldn't read into it but of course you do!

If it goes okay on Thursday, I plan to book the harmony test at 10-11 weeks and have my NHS scan at 13 weeks so I'm sure with three scans in close succession time will fly but this wait has been torturous. Keeping everything crossed for every one of us Flowers

BeeYellowMumma · 12/07/2022 22:49

Seeing the specialist midwifery team tomorrow. Been trying to start processing this is really happening and tried my luck at a doppler, got a strong HR in the 170s for a few minutes on and off alongside my own (I know they aren't recommended or liked by all, but I have had training on using them) husband is thrilled, was nice hearing it at least but still not really feeling this is real.

My sickness is getting better this week finally, although I've gained so much weight already which I never got at all first time. Have to try and pick better snacks moving forward now I'm feeling better because only thing getting me through nausea was an obscene amount of carbs

Hope everyone else is okay.

BritInNZ · 13/07/2022 20:13

Hey ladies - is anyone having problems with their skin? I have such dry skin around my nose and mouth and I'm getting quite a lot of spots. I used to be able to not wear foundation when going out, now I wouldn't dare!! Any ideas on what might help?

WonderWoop · 14/07/2022 11:46

Hope everyone doing well. I had an early scan this morning, measuring 7w5d, just a day short of my estimate and there was a heartbeat ❀️
Very relieved. Have NIPT booked in two weeks time so hopefully time will speed up from here. I didn't tell my family until 16 weeks last time... but seeing them tomorrow and they live abroad so going to tell them and swear my mum to secrecy (optimism on that front low!)

WonderWoop · 14/07/2022 11:47

@BritInNZ I haven't heard this before, though pregnancy is a strange thing! Hope it clears

BusyBushBaby · 14/07/2022 13:02

I had a positive early scan this week. Feeling a bit more confident in this pregnancy. Could someone send me a link to the Facebook group please?

Peonies94 · 14/07/2022 16:49

@BusyBushBaby amazing news!

has anyone had their 12 week scan yet? Or anyone who’s due to have it in the next week or 2? I’m so nervous for mine! It’s a week tomorrow and I’m super anxious! Just currently wishing my life away!

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now so thought I would comment!
Hope everyone is doing ok.
I’m due early February and @Peonies94 I have my 12 week scan a week tomorrow too! I’m nervous & excited just hoping everything is ok. We had an early scan around 7 weeks and it all looked good then πŸ™‚πŸ€žπŸ». I’m still having some symptoms, nausea seems to be making a come back in the evenings this week but I am starting to feel as though I have more energy so taking that as a positive! Xx
